Comments: I was using cronjobs to automate backup before Vinchin. But now fully automated and saves so much time. Also I can restore OS level. very cool.

Great Integration Options

I recently started using Vinchin for my backup and disaster recovery needs, and I'm thrilled with its flexibility. One of the standout features is the platform integration; it seamlessly supports various hypervisors like VMware, Hyper-V, ZStack, and XenServer. This makes it incredibly easy to manage backups across my diverse infrastructure without having to switch between different tools. This level of versatility is exactly what I was looking for, and it's made my backup management much more streamlined and efficient. Highly recommended!

Cons:

I only wished all the platforms are included in the Standard License, but for platforms like ZStack, you need to use the Enterprise license.

Great Product with Very Intuitive Interface

What I liked most about this product was the very intuitive Administration interface. Everything was just where you would expect it to be which made things very simple.

Soft backup tool

This we can implement on linux server which one is the best ever. Downloading and installation are very easy. Backup job configuration are easy also, Restoration is easy.

Very efficient backup tool with good price

Comments: We have 100 Xenserver vms run on our environment, given the popularity of Xenserver, it's not difficult to find a reliable backup vendor, but what stumps us is a comprhensive one with resonable price and reasurring protection guarantee. Vinchin happens to be the one fits our standards. Bitdetector, node expansion and data deduplication, all these technologies save a lot space and cost for us, not to mention the archive to cloud and offsite backup copy features, they can be strong support against disasters and accidents. And another one we choose it because Vinchin charges reasonably.

Pros:

Vinchin has flexible installation options as a physical or virtual machine, the ease of deployment, and reliable backup strategies, all of them make it works really great with Xenserver. I like the agentless and lan-free backup for there's more reqiurement for agent and that makes things easier. But best of all, its customizable backup jobs would do everything it can to save storage and speed the whole process up. And the instant recovery is trully amazing, I like it very much.

Cons:

I have no negative comments about Vinchin solution, which works well for us. But it would be good if they have gfs retention policy.

Best backup tool ever

Pros:

Vinchin is the easiest yet most powerful and productive backup software I've ever used. The informative and simple management UI interface catches my eyes when I first use it. So I immediately started to test the features since every feature seems to be easy to find and config. Turns out it runs just as expected. The intelligent backup strategies with optional time scheduling. It's definitely the best backup tool ever.

Cons:

There is really nothing to dislike as of now for virtual machine backup. Yet I would like to have OS backup option if possible.

The perfect compromise to backup a mixed Virtual environment

Comments: We have been using Vinchin for 2 months and we are very satisfied .. We would probably need more training videos on specific type of hypervisors. But the overall experience is great...

Pros:

- The ability to manage different type of Hypervisor - The web Visualization interface ( The most beautiful visual Monitoring interface I have seen ).. - The features offered ... - The performance and the simplicity of the backup process -- And definitely the update process directly from the web console .

Cons:

- Still some improvement to do in the "File backup management" ( not flexible enough ) - Admin cannot interact with file backup agents directly...

Simple, Easy, Maximum Efficiency

Comments: Our tests are currently ongoing. I can say that the first experience was excellent. Finally, I am still in the discovery phase, as we have also received training on this subject.

Pros:

I met Vinchin this year and a friend recommended it. I had some trouble with the first installation, but that may be my inexperience. In the ongoing process, I had a great experience, especially with online support. The most excellent feature compared to other competitors is the addition of virtual servers and machines in a very short time. Also you have a very simple panel for backup.

Cons:

The initial setup phase is quite difficult and complex. This area can be further developed.

OLVM backup Solution

Comments: With Vinchin we have solved OLVM backups, there's no other solution that can do math vinchin do in OLVM

Pros:

Is the only solution that really works with OLVM, the compression ratio is high and help to save storage cost, easy to administer, easy to use, easy to restore, have a nice console.

Cons:

is a litttle bit hard to implement wit OLVM, but support team is there for help you with it.

The best backup solution to RHV/oVirt

Comments: This software was the best that do the complete backup in my environment(oVirt). the restore is wonderful. I really happy with this software.

Pros:

Its easily to configure , the backup and restore is very fast. the sale team is the best team that I already worked and the support is really fast and they do a good job.

Comments: So far, so good. But it'd be so great if vinchin supports backup to cloud because I prefer multiple safety guarantees.

Pros:

I love the easy setup, smart backup and fast recovery. And their customer service responds promptly. The features I liked most are the fast and smart backup, the thoughtful offsite backup copy for DR, and file-level recovery. Why? cause that's why I chose vinchin. They have many subline technologies for supporting these features, like data deduplication and data compression.

Cons:

So far, so good. But it'd be so great if vinchin supports backup to cloud because I prefer multiple safety guarantees.
