Finally software that works with me.

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: It has been a dream to use since first starting with it. We have been using 4 other products one after the other for the last year or so and they all had flaws, some more than others. Everything just works out of the box as they say and it is so easy, I have not looked anything up yet and will look into this when I have setup all our current projects.

Pros:

Setting up and managing projects is so easy, fits most industries due to its fluid design for projects. The cost is attractive when you take into account the amount of time saved for team projects. Being able to set permissions on different roles and create new ones is also a bonus. You can make the client as transparent to the project as you like with the use of the same permissions or even create different client types depending on what they need access to. File uploads work perfectly which is a welcome change.

Cons:

Would like to see the accounting features expanded, but not important to key features nor for software of this sort.

Plutio is the best project management software (and more) for me

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: I just don't know where to start and how to not be too enthousiastic to prevent others from being disappointed. Plutio works perfectly for me due to its intuitive user interface, customisability and completeness. I'm sold people, I'm sold.

Pros:

I tried Asana, Trello and all, but they just don't work for my neurodiverse brain. So I turned to Freedcamp, which really worked well, until I got my hands on Plutio. The ease of use makes me actually WANT to work with/in Plutio, where the other tools were just tools. Plutio becomes my workspace, which really makes it work. Plutio is intuitive, flexible, customisable and very complete, as you have project management, CRM, calendar finance, (internal) communication, proposals, invoicing and even more in one platform. You can add as many clients as you like and even host it as a subdomain of your own website. This makes it professional towards your clients, also because you can use your own colour schemes. And from what I know, there will be more development, improvements and integrations, so it's going to be even better than it is already.

Cons:

So far, I have only experienced problems with my time registration, where I can't find how to edit the time. And it would be even more awesome if I could actually integrate my email, so I can work straight from Plutio and from Plutio alone (other niche specific tools and our website excluded of course).

Powerful, but unreliable

3.0 2 years ago

Comments: Almost really good, but the bugs and occasional customer facing errors were too much and eventually I jumped ship to another product that's not quite as powerful but is super reliable.

Pros:

Pluto has most things that you need to run a one person business all under one roof. It has great task and project management tools, collaboration with clients, contract signing, billing, forms etc.

Cons:

Sometimes the team will make changes to the product that are not backwards compatible, without warning. New features are often buggy when first released. The quality control and testing seems lacking.

Yes, you should get it.

Comments: Here is an honest review of Plutio. I have been a user of Plutio for my business since December 23, 2017. I run a marketing company, and I always struggled to find a system that worked well for my business. Once I found Plutio, it was in its just-released stage of life, and as you can imagine, there were a few things that didn’t work the way you would think it might. However, this is the actual review; when you have an issue or are faced with a problem in the system, the team that works for Plutio will bend over backward for you to help make it right. In my experience with many companies over the years, there are good and bad. I know that [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and his fantastic team at Plutio are there when I need them. The customer service is better than 95% of the other companies I have worked with in the past. The system is always improving; they are not the type that builds something and works to fix it regularly while taking your money NO! They release updates and new features all the time. In summary, if you are trying to find that one great system to help you manage your business, QUIT looking at reviews. You found it! You would have to be an idiot not to use this team. They are absolutely the best in the market and great people to boot. In your service,

Simple but complete portal for your project collaborators and clients

4.0 4 years ago

Comments: Right now I’ve been using it with my collaborators with no issues to test things out before inviting clients. I’ve been sending proposals to clients and it has helped close deals.

Pros:

I‘ve been able to unify different sales tools to handle tue process of capturing prospects info, creating proposals for them and then creating all the project management boards for follow up. Having used more advanced and powerful software such as clickup, I can see the value in providing a more simple portal for clients and collaborators. There is a lot of features still pending, but the team seems responsive and keeps working to make a better platform. Integrations through their api, zapier and integromat can fill the gaps on functionality.

Cons:

My main issues with Plutio are incomplete/incorrect Spanish translations, certain bugs that require workarounds or reloading the page, and mainly a lack of native import functions. The last one can be worked around using zapier/integromat but it still requires you to set things up or pay for these extra services depending on how many records you will be working.

Manage most of your business operations in one tool

4.0 4 years ago

Comments: Having been an early adopter of Plutio, we've seen the product make massive strides forward. In terms of competitors for an all-in-one Business Ops tool, Plutio is well worth your attention. New features get added regularly, and the development team are very actively engaged with their community.

Pros:

Plutio is like a Swiss-army knife for your business. If you are a solopreneur or a small team, Plutio offers invoicing, recurring billing, project management, time tracking, customer relationship management, and more. While some of these functions are currently basic, Plutio continues to update their features and clear long-standing bugs. For the price, you should really give it a try.

Cons:

The mobile experience is still in beta, and needs much improvement. If you are going to use Plutio, prepare to use it with your web browser. The CRM feature is very basic, and requires use to use a third-party CRM. Hopefully this will be rectified in the future as we enjoy the single interface approach to streamline operations. Additionally, we look forward to Quickbooks integration for accounting.

Plutio is very powerful and versatile

5.0 5 years ago

Pros:

Project managment in Kanban form, boards for every client, proposals, invoicing, client portal...I can do everything in Plutio! It's great and feature rich and the [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] really listens to his customers and brainstorms ideas with them.

Cons:

It has a bit of a learning curve because of all the features it offers. I'd like to be able to clean it up a bit for the client view so they don't get overwhelmed by all the options.

My work and communication makes easy with my client.

4.0 4 years ago

Comments: I recently started using Plutio for my freelance work. I recently start one project regarding niche website. Using Plutio my team and client share files and all related data easily. Besides we did not need training to use Plutio because it have very interactive interface. Most interesting features Plutio gives us, such as Invoicing, project management, Customer relationship management, time tracking and many more. Customer care is very active regarding user problem, i contacted several time, get response in between 1 hour.

Pros:

For small project like us, Plutio offers Invoicing, Time tracking , customer support management is very easier. Most important feature i loved that proposal sending is very interesting. They have very Fast Customer response team.

Cons:

For only project management, it may feel little bit pricy, you can overcome this matter by searching other marketplace like appsumo for offer . Actually i get cheap lifetime offer from their.

Powerful All-in-One Tool with Great Customization

5.0 5 months ago

Pros:

One of the things I liked most about Plutio is its all-in-one platform, which simplifies project management by integrating tasks, invoicing, and time tracking in one place. It’s user-friendly, customizable, and offers a seamless way to collaborate with team members and clients, reducing the need for multiple tools. This streamlines workflow and improves productivity.

Cons:

While Plutio offers a lot of great features, the learning curve can be a bit steep at first, especially with so many customizable options. However, once you get the hang of it, the platform becomes very intuitive and powerful for managing projects and tasks efficiently.

Plutio review

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: Support is good. Invoicing is good. For what I use it for I'm a happy customer. I know it's a small business and there's not a lot of developers working on it, but even so the product always seems to be growing.

Pros:

I purchased Plutio on AppSumo. I was using FreshBooks but it was expensive and I only need invoicing. The invoicing part works well so I stayed with Plutio.

Cons:

Search isn't helpful. If I want to look up a task from a customer to reuse I can't do that. I should be able to search for anything.

A central place to follow your projects.

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: For a specific project, I need an all-in-one product to cover all aspects of it. Plutio is now well-known among freelancers and small businesses as an excellent product. If you are a beginner, the founder has created extensive documentation to help you properly set up Plutio.

Pros:

This application is a genuine all-in-one product. It can be used on multiple devices, making it extremely convenient for completing your project anywhere.

Cons:

It is difficult to find some problem. This product is well designed.

My new go to Project Management Software

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: Plutio has allowed my business to stay on track with projects and works great both on the computer and on mobile.

Pros:

Plutio has the most advanced features of any project management suite I have used. If the field you would like is not available you can easily create a custom field to fit your needs.

Cons:

The only thing I find missing from Plutio is accounting. If I could do my accounting and link my financial accounts right in the app it would be a full suite.

Great Value for the Money

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: The product is awesome, but it is a newer product that comes with the struggles related to that. Rep and the team are amazing at getting things rolled out quickly but expect some small headaches, especially with newer features.

Pros:

This software is being built with a certain customer in mind and the features that are being added are continually making it a better purchase. Their Project Management features are GREAT and are the bedrock of the software for me.

Cons:

For certain pieces of the software (Invoicing and Time Sheets) there are small issues that do not allow me to use them currently. Invoicing was not reliable when using it for recurring payments. Time sheets are missing some features that I would need to use them. Mostly the ability for the Admin to edit, add, or remove time entries of employees.

Plutio is a terrific customizable project management tool

4.0 3 years ago

Comments: [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is an amazing tech tool founder with a lot of energy and passion and is willing to listen to people using his tool to help shape improvements. Plutio has come so far in the past few years and I am sure it will continue to grow.

Pros:

I love the project management aspect of Plutio. It's highly customizable, including adding visual covers and custom colours to projects and tasks. I like to create a separate board for each of my one-off project clients and customize with their brand colours.

Cons:

While I love that it is possible to create proposals in Plutio, and I sometimes do, I find it frustrating to try and make them attractive using the available templates. These templates are often impossible to customize, so if your company or project diverges from that of the template, you have to give up and use the default simple outlay instead.

Great for tracking all my projects

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: I run a Digital Marketing Agency and use Plutio to keep track of various projects, duties and stages of completion. I can create customer task boards for repeated projects and easily move my jobs from one status to the next and back if needed. All the while, I can track the work at various rates of pay and charge my clients accordingly. This software MAKES me money.

Pros:

template create, timesheet & reminders, ease of use

Cons:

kind of basic UI, I'd prefer more aggressive integrations- i.e. when opening certain software, plutio asks to start time clock

An Essential PM Tool

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: I am very happy with Plutio, nothing to say

Pros:

Plutio is not just a project management tool, you can use it to manage multiple projects, send proposals that will accept digitally signed and biding contracts, send invoices, charge customers and [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] even added a bot and inbox system to deal with customers. Is possible to have a customer portal and invite people to work with your project. It's a really powerful tool, and [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is an awesome developer!

Cons:

It would be nice to have files to email, where the customer would be able to send files to us, using just the email.

Very Promising new Project Management Software

4.0 6 years ago

Comments: I want to love them, but I'm still in the like phase. I think once the product matures just a little more it will be a fantastic product at a very fair price point.

Pros:

Plutio looks like a very promising tool for small to medium businesses and solo entrepreneurs. Some of the features they are implementing besides project management are timesheets, invoicing, customer proposals, direct messaging clients, and integrated calendaring amongst others. Customer support is great and very responsive and active in their FB support group.

Cons:

Some of the features aren't quite there yet as far as usability and customization. They are a small startup and sometimes slow to roll out the features by the dates they have set on their roadmap. If they want to expand and keep up with the competition they are going to need to grow their internal team to be able to implement the features on their roadmap in a more timely fashion.

Helps me keep track of just about every task on a daily basis

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: I definitely wouldn't want to go back to pre-Plutio days! Plus I know there are many more features that I haven't even explored yet.

Pros:

For years I've tried to find a tool I could use for project management and to-do lists. Now that I've found Plutio, I have so much more than that! I create boards to manage my podcast episodes & interviews, events I'm organizing, products I'm developing, and so much more. It's become my "brain dump" for nearly every project on my calendar.

Cons:

It was a little difficult to get things set up initially, but the software has evolved so much since then that I doubt new users feel that way.

All-in-one solution for project management

5.0 4 years ago

Pros:

I find it very useful for group work and team projects. It is like you have your own personal assistant. It helps you to stay in touch with your team members and share files with them. You can use it to share and track all your work on your projects. I am sure it can be also helpful for freelancers with its all-in-one feature strategy (because, Plutio has almost all the features like proposals, onboarding clients, and many more). I can also see the potential of this app in the field of social media management, content marketing, PR, graphic design, video creation, and so on. Like you can manage anything you desire. Highly Recommended.

Cons:

So far, everything is really great and mature. They are in business for many years, have given so many updates.

Create your own planet!

4.0 6 years ago

Comments: It's been a business lifesaver. Once I create a project scope I pop it into Plutio and add my client for overview and interaction. There's an overall progress bar and I can even customize the color scheme for certain items. I can duplicate projects and create project templates. It's dramatically saved me on time and the white label feature has made it easy for me to pitch processing systems to clients who need it.

Pros:

Plutio is super user-friendly. As in, it's one of those software options that you won't have to spend hours trying to figure out how to launch. It's clean, simple design makes it easy to understand and navigate. A really good system for creating and tracking processes.

Cons:

I don't like that I can't connect or integrate it with any other software programs.

Plutio is great project management tool for freelancing and consulting projects.

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: Project management and tasklists / OKRs for my smaller consulting engagements is solved with Plutio.

Pros:

Lots of features from proposal stage to execution/implementation stage.

Cons:

Not all features fully developed and polished, but I think the team behind Plutio is responsive and will get there with forthcoming improvements.
