A MUST HAVE tool for photographers

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: I have been a very long-time user of the photobulk mac app and I love how quickly I can get things done from photo resizing, renaming, optimizing, and quickly adding a watermark on bulk batches. This makes it a breeze if a business client needs multiple delivery options for their photos. The program runs smoothly, quickly, and does its job to perfection.

Pros:

I love how easy and fast this app is with a minimal UX. I use this every day to quickly batch resize and rename and optimize my photos for various client deliveries. I also own PhotoMill, which has its benefits but it feels so heavy when I open it to run something. PhotoBulk definitely puts my brain at ease when I open it I don't feel like I have to do a lot of thinking to use it.

Cons:

I feel like they could work on how the presets function, but it's nothing that makes me not want to use the software, still my favorite app for this workflow.

Alternatives Considered:

Simple and effecting bulk editing

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Sites that use images will resize them to meet their requirements, including eBay and Instagram. Their image resizing and compression is not lossless and will change the quality of the pictures. I prefer to control the quality of the images. Photobulk lets me create a preset to size the pictures and compress them in a way that prevents the site from editing your pictures. It is an essential tool in our workflow!

Pros:

Photobulk is fast and can run through a similar edit of photos in no-time-flat! It will resize, watermark, optimize and change formats in lightning speed, even on an older Mac.

Cons:

The only "con" would be the minor missing feature of being able to bulk lighten images. That would help for some of the images I deal with.

PhotoBulk Review

4.0 5 years ago

Comments: All in all, I really never have problems with PhotoBulk and I find it quite effective to use, especially in the higher education industry.

Pros:

What I like most about this software is the ease of manipulating and edits photos that you need widely distributed. For example, if I am sending something out to all the students in a certain department I work in, I can use a watermark to ensure they won't use what I've sent out. Also, you can change dimensions on photos to make it fit what you will be using the photo for. It's also extremely user friendly.

Cons:

What I like least about this software is that it can crash if you have too many things going on in the background while using your computer. For example, if you have PowerPoint up and 10 other tabs in your browser open, it may crash on you.

PhotoBulk handy for bulk editing of photos

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: As a news editor for a small news site I manage lots of images. PhotoBulk helps me changes the sizes of the images for the web, add watermarks if I want, and add captions.

Pros:

You can process as many files as you want as opposed to just one image file at a time.

Cons:

The original version lacked some more advanced features but PhotoBulk has improved and now offers lots of advanced photo editing features. I hope it is developed further.

Easily Optimize Your Photos in Bulk

5.0 5 years ago

Pros:

As the title suggested, the App allows you to optimized bulk of your photos in one go. That saves a lot of times.

Cons:

There's no automation available. For example, the App should be able to monitor a folder and automatically optimized newly added photos based on a pre-set rules.

So amazing!

5.0 6 years ago

Pros:

This software is amazing. There's no need for overly expensive software anymore. It's easy to use. My friend loves to take pics of me but he always takes literally 100s of shots. I hate going through each and individually resizing or watermarking them. With Photobulk, I can just upload, change one and all are changed. So amazing. It's fast, reliable and has no learning curve. I didn't need to watch youtube tutorials to learn lol. I feel like this software has been photo processing faster. The fonts are great, resizing and optimizing for the web is super simple. I've been using the Lite version and even though there's a few limitations it still work great for me.

Cons:

It crashed a few times when I opened the software, but it turns out it was my computer. I hadn't updated my software in a while so it wasn't working properly. But now, it works just fine.

Great batch-photo editor!

4.0 6 years ago

Pros:

PhotoBulk makes it super easy to edit multiple photos at once on my Mac. Simplifies many of the processes that would otherwise take much more time to do in Photoshop.

Cons:

Lacks some of the more advanced features that other editors have , like cloning and retouching. Hopefully the developer can add a few of these in future updates.

We used this tool for uploading content online.

4.0 6 years ago

Comments: To manage digital content and upload pictures online.

Pros:

Easy for digital files management, Image batch process and sharing content online. It's recommended both for amateurs and professionals.

Cons:

Sometimes the quality of the pictures is changed but this has to do with the default settings, which is subject to control and arrange accordingly to every photo. Overall we are satisfied.

I used PhotoBulk to watermark my material that I was distributing online for marketing purposes.

5.0 6 years ago

Pros:

The software did exactly as I needed it to and was simply to understand. I didn't have much experience at the time so this software helped out a lot as I was distributing material online.

Cons:

I did notice that the quality of my photos were reduced after my watermark was successfully placed, but thankfully it really wasn't enough to make a significant difference.

Prix dérisoire, service maximal

5.0 4 years ago
