Cheaper than the competition, with all the features I need
Comments: RemotePC is cheaper than the competition, with all the features I need.
Pros:
Price: RemotePC is cheaper than the competition. I previously used another program (ZOHO Assist) but was looking for something better, but also cheaper if possible. RemotePC is cheaper, especially since I got the special discount for getting a 2-year subscription.Audio chat:I use RemotePC to hop onto computers of friends and family to help them fix things and troubleshoot. The video chat functionality is extra cool as we can can video or audio chat while I help them fix things on their computer.Good connection:I have fibre optic internet but the people I help remotely often have pretty terrible internet and yet it works perfectly.
Cons:
A minor thing but I don't need the video aspect of Video chat, I just use it to chat to the person I am helping by voice. A simple audio chat feature would be cool.
Great HIPAA compliance Remote Desktop
Pros:
Easy installation and access to remote PC without needing lot of support.
Cons:
Ability to grant computer by user and hopefully they can roll this out in the future.
Don't ever rely on this software!!
Comments: Overall experience is poor, have had several time consuming chat sessions and the answer is always to "update to the latest version" - which makes no difference.
Pros:
I liked the appeal of the price.... but I soon learnt you get what you pay for!
Cons:
Unreliable, don't ever install this where remote access to a machine is critical - it will let you down! Buggy, crashes all the time with various software exceptions, file transfer is is a guessing game as to whether it will do it/has done it, client machines continuously need the software processes killing via task manager and then re starting to get it to work - this is exaggerated on pcs with multiple user accounts as switching users seems to cause it to hang consistently. Also has a habit of reporting that a session is in progress when it is not. I was a Logmein user for years before switching to this product so no stranger to remote software. Logmein might be more expensive but it is in a completely different league to RemotePC

Great for support and troubleshooting!
Comments: Great experience and very happy with every aspect of the software
Pros:
I manage multiple PC's and I needed something more robust than windows desktop. RemotePC was easy to set up and easy to manage remote pc's even with reboots.
Cons:
Have not found any cons with it yet. Seems to be working well
Works Great, Easy to Use, Good value
Pros:
I used RealVNC before and now that they are getting rid of their free version I decided to try other options. RemoteVNC is less expensive than RealVNC, and I think RemoteVNC has a better user interface when it comes to multiple monitors.
Cons:
Nothing. Everything seems to work as it should.
Alternatives Considered:
A program that is affordable and Easy to Use
Comments: I am extremely pleased with both the software and the company response to any difficulties with initial set up. Support is easy to access and the agents are very easy to deal with and very friendly.
Pros:
I found it relatively easy to install and purchase. The regular subscription price is also reasonable and I was offfered a good discount on my first year subscription.
Cons:
So far, I have no cons to covey. I have been able to use this software with ease.
Ease of Remote PC
Comments: I am a new user to Remote PC, but I can honestly say that I will change all my clients to use this.
Pros:
I am appreciative of the ease of Remote PC.
Cons:
Leaving all the computers that I use for clients on all the time. That is the only con.
Excellent product!
Pros:
As a software services provider I have used many remote support options. The ease of configuration including full access to control remote PC's is the highlight for me.
Cons:
So far so good, I have nothing specific that I don't like.
Better than Teamviewer
Pros:
Easy to use and also works every time. I can trust that I will be able to access my remote computer when I need it!
Cons:
None, great so far! I came to RemotePC from teamviewer
Remote desktop easily
Pros:
Connecting and remote connection with desktop using RemotePC is very easy and can be setup as fast as under 1 minute. I use it to solved minor problem on my colleague desktop from my workstation.
Cons:
It need a strong and stable internet connection on my end and the target desktop to have a smooth connectivity.
A great product for a reasonable price.
Comments: Remote access and remote file transfer are both easy and relatively reliable, with the exception of what I mentioned under "cons". Security is good. Feature set seems good, even if I don't think I'll be using a number of the other available features. Great value for the product.
Pros:
I appreciate both the ease of use of the product and it's constant security to ensure that whomever is trying to access a given machine is authorized to do so.
Cons:
The software can sometimes randomly disconnect during a session and needs to reconnect or I need to close the window and reconnect. It's not often, and not a critical problem, but I've notice it has happened on a few of the remote control sessions that I've done so far. Perhaps the software need a slightly better timeout/critical action handling function to more seamlessly deal with this type of situation so it's less obvious/intrusive to the user. I'm not on low-bandwidth connections, so that doesn't seem like it's the issue.

We use the remote computer management feature. The rollout was easy.

RemotePC - Solid, fast, easy to implement
Pros:
I used the product several years ago, and it was good, but now it is excellent! It is very fast, easy to install, reliable, and the screens are well-designed and intuitive. Remote functions, file transfer, printing - all very solid.
Cons:
I had trouble accessing the newer "performance" version on one system. I believe the fault was with a virus protection software. It only took a few minutes with tech support (whom I was able to reach quickly) to resolve the issue.
Best remote desktop app
Comments: Very good, I use the product daily and are very happy with it.
Pros:
Makes it so easy to control my main PC remotely, while it runs large programs.
Cons:
It took me a while to work out how to change plans, both upgrade and down grade.
Alternatives Considered:
A great tool

Pros:

Alternatives Considered:
It works
Comments: I've had to use this in ernest on more than one occasion to get GUI Access to a PC and its never failed me.
Pros:
Having tried several alternatives like Teamviewer and Chrome/Google Remote Desktop on a cross-platform estate (Linux OSX, Windows) This actually worked with the latest versions of everything. It does so also really well over low latency 4G
Cons:
The Desktop apps look a bit dated is about the worst thing I've found so far
A remote support tool
Comments: I used it to assist other teachers during remote lessons.
Pros:
It is possible to use the attended access feature without any setup. It's really useful when the people on remote don't have too much computer experience.
Cons:
All subscription options are paid per year. So you have to use it for at least one year. When used with file sharing, it gets slow.
Alternatives Considered:
Getting it done from afar
Pros:
I use this to have access to multi-site IT work in remote places. It is incredible to use for quick IT work and fixes to other's computers when in need. I love using it! Once it is set up, I have never had an issue with getting access to a computer to help out. Even remote printing is fantastic.
Cons:
I was the file sharing/transfer was more streamlined. It is a bit faulty to use at time.

I let the subscription run out. Circumstances came about that I had to work remotely again. Again I called my IT and he still recommended Remote PC so here I am again.

RemotePC - Remote Access A Breeze
Comments: RemotePC stands out as a versatile and secure remote access solution. With its cross-platform compatibility, strong security measures, and user-friendly features, it empowers users to stay connected and productive from anywhere. While it's important to have a stable internet connection and be aware of the limitations of the free plan, RemotePC remains an excellent choice for individuals and businesses seeking reliable remote access capabilities.
Pros:
The purchasing and installation process was very easy and straightforward. The configuration was very simple and you don't need to be an expert in IT to be able to configure it the way you want as it is self-explanatory. I like the convenience it provides and the hassle-free experience so far and the fact that you are able to screen share, effortlessly retrieve files and manage other computers as if you are sitting in front ot them makes my work more enjoyable and easy.
Cons:
The performance of RemotePC relies heavily on the fact that you need to have a stable and reliable internet connection for seamless remote access. During peak hours or in areas where poor ad unstable internet connectivity, I sometimes experience lags, delays, or even disconnections.
Alternatives Considered:
Decent cost effective solution for remote connections.
Comments: I'm happy with the product, but it really could use some improvements.
Pros:
Basic functions work well. Mobile integration works. features are exceptional for the cost.

Very difficult to operate and organize more that one device at a time. Admin functions aren't made for even small groups of systems, even though the pricing plans are encouraging this.
