> **Pros**: I used Workspace every day for 15 months, as it was the platform of choice for the company I worked for, and it is an excellent utility.&#10;&#10;The layout is clear, it is easy to use and to set up.  I liked seeing my emails, appointments, Drive files and Chat all in one home screen.  Finding what I needed was super simple and speedy, whilst sharing files was quick and unfussy.&#10;&#10;It was my landing page every morning on my desktop and the wide variety of functions and layout settings, made day to day tasks easy.  Switching between email, Chat and Calendar was seamless.&#10;&#10;In terms of file sharing this was clutter free and I very much liked the choice of attaching as a file or inserting inline.&#10;&#10;I never got near to the limit of storage and didn’t feel like I was about to be sold more space or encouraged to make additional third party purchases.  The ability to share and integrate files across platforms was super helpful, whilst I cannot recall ever experiencing a bug or technical issue with Workspace.

> **Cons**: The only fly in the ointment for me was the sheer number fo tabs and choices within the Setting menu.  It seemed to be layer upon layer and whilst all the different choices were appreciated, finding the exact setting you wanted to adjust could take too long.

> **Pros**: What I liked most about Google Workspace was how easy it made everything feel. Everything connected properly, so I was not constantly switching between different systems or trying to find information. Being able to move from emails to calendars, documents, meetings, and shared files all in one place made day to day work much smoother and less stressful.&#10;I also liked how simple it was to collaborate with other people. Working on documents at the same time, leaving comments, and seeing updates instantly saved a lot of back and forth and helped things move quicker. It felt much more practical and user friendly compared to systems where everything feels disconnected.

> **Cons**: One of the things I liked least about Google Workspace was that it can sometimes feel too dependent on having a good internet connection. If the connection was slow or unstable, it could affect access to files or cause delays when working collaboratively.&#10;I also found that some features were not always as advanced as desktop based Microsoft Office tools, especially for more detailed formatting or complex spreadsheets. While it is very easy to use overall, there were times where certain settings or permissions could be confusing, particularly when sharing files across different teams or external users.

Their suite is tightly integrated across Drice, Gmail, Docs, sheets and Calendar - meaning teams can move efficiently between tools and services without having to switch platforms or reauthenticate anywhere. Its a very straight forward and easy process to share files, manage permissions and view/edit documents together, allowing for cloud-first environments and distributed teams to gel.

> **Cons**: whilst being excellent for collaboration, it isn't quite as powerful as the desktop counterparts and provides some headaches as an administrator when navigating depth and access controls. It is heavily cloud dependent, requiring an active internet connection to interact which rules out a number of offline or some high-security workflows.

> Overall, its a great choice for teams that want a simple cloud-first platform to increase collaboration and productivity, or where teams are lacking a stronger technical presence to manage local infrastructure. The Admin management console is intuitive, and it is easy to control domains. The permissions can be set up for an organisation to ease the mind of many common security worries.

> **Cons**: There are a lot of bloat features that exist on the product, where I would be surprised if many people use them. For example, when setting up a new group, the default settings leave multiple security gaps that are easily overlooked when someone not so eagle eyed sets one up - stuff like letting the entire organisation view the emails/content of the group.

> Google Workspace is an amazing Google unification feature, and it has many of the security settings that an organisation could hope for. There are improvements to be made in the usability of the product that would make it a leader in its field.
