"The best Cad for the money"

Pros: I like just about everything about it. It is the closest that come to AutoCad that I have ever seen for a whale of a lot less money.

Cons: Well, like the other cad it is very comprehensive and complex. It has a huge array of features, many that I will never use frankly. But it is nice to know that the features are there in case I will need them in the future.

"ActCAD Compatibility"

Comments: I commented above about slowness in opening large 3D projects, crashes, problems with paperspace viewports and conceptual rendering of views.

Pros: It is set up very much like AutoCAD which has been my primary software.

Cons: I found that it is very slow in opening previous large AutoCAD 3D projects and recently it crashed in doing so. Also I had difficulty viewing drawings with conceptual views in paperspace viewports. It seemed awkward and not the same as I was used to.

"It is good it can be better"

Comments: It is nice it could be better. I suggest: (1) you ask for feedback (as you did), (2) you make a guide step by step for beginners or not, (3) you make a forum (questions, answers) where you get and answer the most popular questions and complains (as to solve them). In my opinion the forum is also a very good and cheap advertising (to new clients) for a good product with good support.

Pros: Good value for money. Similarity to other programs (AutoCAD). Very good compatibility with other programs.

Cons: Not all AutoCAD commands are transferred to ActCAD. There is not a step by step guide for the program. There is not a list with commands and shortcuts. The BIM plug in was less than basic (no automatisaion for door measures, I could not change the materials of walls etc).

"Tutorials"

Comments: I am a consultant in the field of Chemicals production and have to design different equipment, the complete plant, utilities equipment, plant layout. I am 80 and would like to publish drawings of the equipment based on my experience of nearly 58 years. The problems I face if I have to design equipment based on totally a new concept, particularly in 3D format so that the client has clear idea of the equipment. Now certain Statutory authorities insist on submitting layout drawings in 3D. I would like to learn more on drawing complicated objects in 3D.

Pros: The software has all features which a designer wants, opens all CAD drawings based on other software, irrespective of their issue dates.

Cons: Since I am used to using some other software, the I find the format difficult to use, particularly when I use it after a long gap. I am only a designer of equipment and factory layouts and do not use it very frequently. After a long gap of time, it takes some time to recapitulate the commands. It would be really very helpful if you come out tutorials to draw various shapes of objects using the commands of your software.

"Excellent product. Great technical support."

Pros: It's one of the rare Cad products supported by my operating system with extensive functionality. And the technical service was beyond my expectations.

Cons: A few idiosyncratic flaws that I still deal with.

"The best Cad software I ever used with an incredible price."

Comments: Easy to use with professional results, dwg compatibility.

Pros: Very easy to learn, Straight forward if you know major CAD brand. Simple and intuitive interface. Has all the features that I look in a CAD software. The support is excellent, the guys know the software and respond with a easy and clean instructions to help you. This is the only CAD that you need for work.

Cons: The only problem that I find was the alarm about Regen the drawing, but I inform the problem to the support team and the correct it with an update in just few weeks.

Comments: good to use but lag a little bit

Pros: Compatibility with dwg format. Similar commands, no need to learn again. Excellent support really fast and precise.

Cons: The only two things to improve are first how the program updates. That take a time and sometime erase variables previously set. An second the license management that is tricky.

"ActCAD Review"

Pros: It is cheap and just like AutoCAD at half the price

Cons: LAYISO function does not work like autocad, instead of dimming all the layers it hides them, there is no option of dimming the layers

Comments: When it is startup company wants to have minimum investments in software but to more focus of providing quality services to the clients, ActCAD come in handy affordable price and good techinical support for installation and upgradations. It make us up and running in quick emails, we are happy as we working with ActCAD and good valued solution to the industry giants.

Pros: The keyboard shortcuts and CAD users menu and button are simle and easy to use, work process work same as CAD and it follows the industry standards. I like to PDF convert options comes very handy for small contractors.

Cons: no to nothing for dislike in this software.

"ActCAD 2019 Professional"

Comments: It's very good and intuitive program, and also affordable, in comparison to other similar CAD programs

Pros: ActCAD Explorer is a great feature, place where all definitions of drawing can be found, in one place. It very helpfull.

Cons: A magnifier simbol, that appears when zooming with mouse wheel, is a little annoying. Also, zooming with mouse wheel, when drawing is in progress, seems to be slower.

"Excellent. Most of the functions are already very familiar, That made my task very easy."

Comments: When i was unable to spend high amount of money on other top cad software for multiple systems, actcad helped me solve the problem with affordable price and full functionality.

Pros: First, it's ease of use. Second, it's wide functionality. The third one is its affordability (i.e value for money spent) and The Fourth one is their support. Their support staff are easy to reach and fast in sending their responses.

Cons: It will be great if speed increases further though it is better than all other cad software compared.

"Good quality with low price"

Comments: We use the product with design and manufacturing projects and it meets our demands.

Pros: When we start to search for a cad software, first we look for the good price like many other users. Actcad gives less price offer with the same quality like the other softwares that we are looking for. Also the best thing is that you can transfer your licences from computer to another anytime, this will help you about the quantity of the licences you will need.

Cons: Software is enough for our 2d projects. There is nothing we didn't like.

"Cheaper alternative to some big names"

Comments: This is a great option for those, like us, who may not use CAD frequently but still need it. If you don't want to pay outrageous sums of money for a product you won't use, ActCAD gets the job done. AutoCAD is just way too expensive. Great competitor product.

Pros: The main pro of this software is the price. Other CAD software is extremely expensive, and for users like myself and my team who use CAD very infrequently, this can be super expensive and frowned upon by upper management. ActCAD solves this problem and has more than enough features to complete its purpose. I have seen quick updates and upgrades, so I am hopeful that it will continue to improve.

Cons: Honestly do not have many cons. There are loads of features that my team and I will never use, so it would be nice to remove them but ultimately that is what CAD software does.

"Great autocad substitute, but tends to crash"

Comments: In spite of the fact that it can sometimes crash, I've found that ActCAD is a really solid cad software, and for the price you pay it really works like a charm.

Pros: I really love ActCAD, it is a really good autocad substitute, it is much cheaper, and comes with almost every type of functions you need for basic engineering designs, plus It is faster than simmilar programs in the market.

Cons: I have experienced some instances in which the systems is hanged and my program restarts, which results in missing data and reworking.

Pros: I like license transfer option for sending license to some other machine

"Inexpensive AutoCAD substitute"

Pros: Coming from being an AutoCAD user I like that I could work with all my old drawings and that my customers could open my drawings. The interface was pretty easy to get used to.

Cons: It crashes way too frequently. I haven't been able to figure out why. I haven't heard back from tech support.

Pros: It is very easy to use. The interface is very familiar and the tools it has, help work faster and more efficient.

Cons: I haven't find any cons yet. It works perfect for me.

Pros: Light weight and easu to use. Good For basic use .

Comments: I do HVAC design and some building design. It works well for what i need.

Pros: The menus are easy to use. For the cost it preforms well. It is easy to get used to and preforms as expected.

Cons: Sometimes it can be a little to get used to as to how the commands are being used. Once you understand it gets easier.

Comments: We using for technical drawings and cnc cuttğng drawings and nestings

Pros: Easy using, fine icon distrubition, quick boot

Cons: Color palette is not wide. I only like black one but some icons not seems good.

Pros: It's very easy for use. It has great icons! Shortcuts are great.

Pros: It is very easy of making a drawing and the short keys are very udefull when doing a drawing quickly when it practiced

"Ease to complete project after laptop failure"

Pros: I found that this ArtCAD is very similar to other software and I found that it was easy to get started on new projects on the fly.

Cons: I have not been able to customize tool bars or set up menus; once these projects completed, I should have a time period to learn the procedures to customize the tool bars.

"Easy to work"

Comments: As a civil engineer

Pros: The commands are same with autocad and you don't have to learn or search for new things.
What I really liked is that it has a very clear way to show the problems when you open a file and fonts are missing for example.

Cons: Since I 'm not a designer I want more detailed help
