For my purposes (product design and analysis) it is every bit as capable as any other tool I’ve used in my career (mostly CREO, some solidworks). However, the data management functionality and collaboration tools are what really makes it stand out to me. In addition, the web-based aspect makes Onshape extremely cost-effective. This helps me keep my overhead expenses low while also providing extremely high-quality work. > > **Cons**: Coming from CREO, the part studio concept was a little bit of a learning curve, as was the assembly constraints. However now that I’m used to the workflow, I dread when I have to work with any other tool.
