We used it for the accountancy side and we also used it as our ordering software. As an accountancy package it was great. It took me a little bit longer to learn than some other programmes but in it's defence it was the first software of this type I had ever used. It served more than one functiona s a business when we started. > > **Cons**: When it came to using it as our ordering software (both orders coming in and PO's for purchases) it seemed quite a long process compared to software we have used since which is specifically tailored to this function. > > In the end we kept using Sage for a long time for our accountancy side o0f the business. our accountant was fully trained on this and was able to train others so it made sense. We went and got alternative softwarew for the placing and receiving orders side of the business.
