I would recommend CASEpeer to any personal injury firm
Comments: Our firm has had a really good experience with CASEpeer. Anytime that we have needed training they have been quick to set up a time. There have been a few times where I have needed customer support, trying to do some thing out of the ordinary and they have been really quick to respond.
Pros:
We have made CASEpeer an integral part to our personal injury law practice. It is the client file. We also use it to track our marketing efforts, our staff productivity, and our contingency fees.
Cons:
I think the only thing that was difficult about casepeer, was making sure that our entire team was all on the same page about the case stages. That was probably more on our end than anything that case Pierre could have done differently.

One Stop Shop
Comments: Exceptional. CASEpeer has made my entire practice more efficient and has saved me countless hours of time and staff costs over the years.
Pros:
CASEpeer is designed specifically for Personal Injury practice and each feature is put together with best practices in mind.
Cons:
My only problem is that I would love to be able to assign tasks to individual users directly from the mail center when I review new documents.
CasePeer is too rigid to be a viable option
Comments: Imagine you're shopping for a home and you come upon a new construction with great curb appeal, modern amenities, and even comes fully furnished -- there's just one catch: you can't add or remove a single thing. You feel motivated to 'make it work,' but soon discover what you're really in for. Upon touring the kitchen, you notice the cupboards are brimming with tupperware, but there are no serving platters for hosting parties. Normally you'd remove some of the plastic containers and add your own dishware, but it's not possible here. When you ask the developer about it, they explain how the tupperware can be laid out and used as serving trays, and while this is technically true, it would always be a poor solution and a compromise that one shouldn't have to make. That's kind of what it's like working with CasePeer. We recently abandoned our attempt at migration after putting in several months of trying to 'make it work' and encountering the full ramifications of overly simplistic software so rigid that nothing can be changed, combined with a developer that's equally uninterested in listening to the needs of a personal injury firm. Specifically, CasePeer has no ability to handle PIP subrogation or third-party/workers' comp subrogation, its available insurance types are limited to UM, UIM, and Umbrella, and the list of case types is set in stone, overflowing with clutter that's irrelevant to most personal injury firms, while lacking in crucial PI options.
Pros:
CasePeer has many good ideas for personal injury software, especially when it comes to tracking medical bills and record requests, but the software is too simplistic and too rigid in its current incarnation.
Cons:
The backend of CasePeer is too simplistic and rigid. Everything is set in stone. Nothing can be changed. It needs a more robust backend database married to the pleasing and useful frontend.
Alternatives Considered:
The BEST case management software for personal injury firms. PERIOD.
Comments: I love CASEpeer. It saves everyone time and keeps everyone on the same page with all our cases.
Pros:
CASEpeer is so easy to use and seamless for getting the staff onboarded--super intuitive. With automated workflows (CASEplans) and document automation, routine tasks take seconds and everyone knows exactly what the next step is on any given case. Basically, everything from medical record status to outstanding liens and any analytical report you could want is at my fingertips in CASEpeer. I couldn't run my law firm without it.
Cons:
CASEpeer has a robust reporting system that I wish would allow for more refined/eye friendly exports instead of just spreadsheet options. It would also be nice to be able to print a firm branded invoice from the costs tab that could be given to a client. Also, the time tracking feature looks good and works will inside of CASEpeer, but once exported, it's useless--I have to basically reenter all the data to make it usable within the spreadsheet, and then again to make something that I can show in court as evidence.
Best of the bunch
Comments: So far it has been outstanding. The customer service is excellent and their staff makes sure questions are answered. The very best is that training is included. There are videos and webinars, but even when there is the odd question not covered, the training is included. We aren't nickel-and-dimed to death!
Pros:
We reviewed multiple applications before choosing CASEpeer. The features and options available were the very best and exactly what we need to take our firm to the next level.
Cons:
Nothing so far. This product has all the features we need and they are already integrated into the product.

Our Thoughts
Comments: A 9 out of 10. If need help it is also a super easy find.
Pros:
Easy to work with and to find what I need to access quickly.
Cons:
That WC cases are set up like PI cases. There should be an employer/Insurer, not defendant.
I recommend CASEpeer to Every Small Firm
Comments: CASEpeer is fantastic. The progam is easy to use and tailored to a personal injury law firm.
Pros:
It's easy to use and if I have any questions or need help their support is always helpful and responsive.
Cons:
I would like to be able to customize the boxes I see on each case. "Workers" appear at the top of every page but that's not relevant to me in my practice but I cannot customize the appearance.
The best case Mangement software I have ever used
Comments: It's the best legal case management software I have ever used. I feel like if more offices had access to it they would see an improvement in performance within the first few months.
Pros:
CASEpeer is very easy to use and keep track of cases. Everything is easy to locate, which makes managing cases simple. It has helped me become more productive in my job and take on more responsibilities.
Cons:
I don't like how long it takes for documents to load in the documents tab.
Organized and Efficient
Comments: I really like CASEpeer and I feel like I learn something new about it everyday. The more familiar I get with the program, the more efficient and organized I become.
Pros:
The ability to stay organized and track what is done and still needs to be done on a case. Texting is a great feature as well and a huge timesaver..
Cons:
I do not like that some features are only available on CASEpeer advanced.
Personal Injury Paralegal who could never go back to life before CASEpeer
Comments: I could never go back to working heavy case loads without CASEpeer.
Pros:
It allows me to assign tasks and track every single file I am assigned to.
Cons:
I have no cons. It is truly the best resource in my field.
Alternatives Considered:
Great!
Comments: It was a struggle at the beginning, and there were some features that we were lead to believe we were going to have, that we didn't, especially with reporting. However, over time of using the products, there have been some changes that have improved those capabilities and some of our suggestions have been taken in and used. There are still more that we'd like to have done (see above Cons) but it has continually improved over the almost 2 years we've been using.
Pros:
I love that everything we need to know about our client and their case is easily accessible. We know their medical treatment, when records have been ordered and received, when litigation documents have been sent and due, and love using the litigation event plans as well as the auto gen letters and tasks populating automatically on status changes.
Cons:
I wish the advanced search button was in the top bar alongside the search - a lot of times we need to search using court file number and we always have to mimic a search to get the "error" for no search results to get to the advanced search button. Also, I would like that tasks can be parent/child. For example, a task to send something out, once that gets marked as complete it automatically updates the date of receiving the response to the correct # of days/weeks after. Our old CMS had that and it saved a lot of time manually having to update tasks if they prior was not completed on the due date.Really our main struggle has been issues with OneDrive for Business working seamlessly with CasePeer. It seems to have issues regularly where we have to deactivate/reactivate the link and sometimes that doesn't even work. And using the documents tab connected to OneDrive is slow and we typically connect it but don't necessarily use it the way it would be helpful (like categorizing documents, opening to edit, etc.) We generally just go to OneDrive thru FileExplorer as it's easier that way. The only benefit to the connecting at all is when we auto generate documents it saves automatically in the OneDrive file with the connection and saves the steps of "save as." However, many times there's issues where we have to do that "save as" step anyway.
Best Case Management Software
Comments: Very pleased and have no interest in looking into any other case management software.
Pros:
This is the 4th case management software I've used in the past 10 years and it has been the easiest and most productive. It is user friendly, meaning I can get the info I need quickly and without having to navigate through screens or links that I don't use. It saves our firm time in figuring out statuses in cases when prompted by a client's request. But Casepeer does so much more like tracking when I last touched certain cases so that i know which ones need attention.
Cons:
Pie charts. I like pie charts. I'd like to view our performance on a pie chart.
Alternatives Considered:
Excellent for Personal Injury Firms
Pros:
Ease of use and simplistic menu systems help improve the user experience.
Cons:
The intake process has some kinks that need to be changed/added/removed.
Highly recommend CASEpeer
Comments: Overall CASEpeer is a very good case management program. Very easy to use. Self explanatory almost. The only downside is that you have to spend a lot of time imputing all the information in order for the reports to populate. Wish the information from Intake transposed into CASEpeer better but overall it is great.
Pros:
By far my favorite feature of CASEpeer is the management reports you can pull. You can self audit and stay on top of your files by date touched, client contact, high rating files, etc. These reports make it so easy to touch all files in a timely manner.
Cons:
The notes and the appearance of CASEpeer. There is a lot of clicking around that you have to do to navigate through the tabs and every time you do something it refreshes. Understandable because you are on the web but inconvenient. The notes are very messy and not easy to read. Emails w/in notes are horrible. You cannot access the email like you could in software like Client Profiles. Hard to see information you saved to the file via email.
New to the groove...
Comments: Overall CASEpeer has aided in keeping the entire office on track with being able to access all cases and check case status.
Pros:
Overall this softward is user friendly. While some features can be a little confusing to figure out and may take a while, the resourses are available if you have the time to stop and check them out. Having never used a case management program before, there was a lot of trial and error, but any error was easily fixed with no ill effects to the case file.
Cons:
Not being able to specify details in the medical billing, no option in discovery for "Non-Party" - as we utilize non-party requests a lot in discovery; it can be confusing in the discovery drop down for choices as it always presumes that you are the plaintiff/defendant requesting from a named defendant for discovery, there should be a way that the plaintiff is also listed in the drop down when discovery requests are received from defendant to plaintiff (for tracking purposes); it would just make it more user friendly for the litigation portion of cases. Additionally, not being able to see the entire active case list is a challenge.
Nothing short of excellence!
Pros:
It is difficult to complement the software without complimenting the company. I have never experienced better customer service and client attentiveness. We receive update emails weekly. I can barely get used to a feature before they roll out with even better ones. The integration to our calling service is outstanding and the ability to mange through our cases is seamless. Each case is laid out much like a report and is easy to follow. It allows us to stay on top of our cases and interact with our clients through opt-in texting linked directly to the client's case notes. This software is the best case management software hands down!
Cons:
The only negative thing I could think of is how much data is needed to be inputed. This is not really a negative at all, just time consuming. The sheer amount of data allows the software to read itself and identify information for templates, organizing notes, providers, and defense insurance companies, counsel, and judges.
CasePeer Review
Comments: This program helps our office manage our clients and stay up to date on each case. The tasks are very helpful to keep all staff on the same page. The text messaging feature is also very helpful with clients.
Pros:
This program is very user-friendly. When issues do arise, the support staff is very prompt and helpful. The reports are also very helpful.
Cons:
The templates could use some improvement so that it can pull information from multiple tabs as needed. I would like a little more ability to arrange sections on a tab how it is best use for me - such as being able to move events to top of litigation page. The calendar could use some improvement as well.
Easy & Modern
Comments: I've used Casepeer since I've been in personal injury, it's a great software. It does periodically get upgrades and we are able to make suggestions, and overall it exceeds our expectations!
Pros:
The product is easy to use and manage. It makes training new employees easy because they are able to be hands on with the product and quickly learn without any previous experience.
Cons:
Does not have the option for integration with commonly used records services. Texting option for clients is great, but the notifications and non-automatic notes into the case is not existing therefore defeats the convenience of the feature.
Excellent CASEpeer
Comments: It has been excellent since the beginning. Our rep, Jaclyn K., has been wonderful since Day One.
Pros:
How everything is fairly easy. Just a great program!
Cons:
Typing in 'foreign' client names. CP seems to have trouble with that. It does not recognize many names that are from foreign countries, and we have a great deal of clients who have different kinds of names. It gets old when you are typing in any part of the name, and nothing comes up, over and over again. The language names that it has the most trouble with are Spanish, Indian (India), and Asian.

Herbert Law Group loves CASEpeer
Comments: Top notch service and response time
Pros:
Top level look at all my cases, making sure nothing gets missed, and I can manage my employees from the platform as well.
Cons:
Would love to see batch texting, and automatic texting

Great product!
Comments: Great!
Pros:
The accessibility and ease. Team members were able to learn quickly.
Cons:
Even if some things are harder to use, the customer service is great at getting back to us with answers.
Casepeet Review
Comments: My overall experience with Casepeer is that it has great potential, it has great features but it is very slow.
Pros:
What I like the most about CASEpeer is that I could track and keep up to date with hundreds of cases at once
Cons:
What I like the least about CASEpeer is that it does glitch often and the calendar feature is not very seamless, it takes a while to enter calendar entries and sometimes I have to do it twice which can be frustrating
Harding Law Offices - Paralegal's Review of CasePeer
Pros:
What I like the most about CASEpeer is how easy it is to maneuver through cases. Having all of the case information bundled together is extremely helpful. I also really like how easy it is for users to work together by leaving notes, assigning tasks, and the ability to continue adding documents and updates. It's really helpful to see when a Case status is changed from, let's say, an "Intake" to "PreSuit" and who changed that status.
Cons:
I'm still extremely new to using CASEpeer, so I may have missed it somewhere, but it would be really helpful to have a "Download Case" Option, as it's essential to have backups of all the information on a separate server. The product is extremely helpful within its own confines, but it would be nice to have the ability to also download all of the information/documents for a case on CASEpeer rather than manually having to transfer all of the information. Again, I may have missed something and this is already an option, I still have so much more research and playing around to do!
Best Case Mangement Tool Available
Comments: I no longer worry about having multiple backup reviews for the cases. I certainly still backup all of the firm calendaring and case tracking, but Casepeer provides me with confidence that all is in control.
Pros:
I have used Case Management software from the time it first appeared for use in law firms. Casepeer is the best program in all of my 40 years of trial practice.
Cons:
Allow for reindexing and reorganizing of the documents in the Documents tab.
Great for the CRM needs of a law practice
Comments: Tracking clients is a great problem Casepeer solves. Knowing who was called last, was their issue addressed, and if there is follow-up necessary. This has been a dream juggling a big caseload.
Pros:
Adding clients, signing them up, and tracking records and bills, which is the most critical part of a PI practice has been honed with this software.
Cons:
The inability to customize the settlement and negotiation worksheets. We still have to use our own spreadsheets for negotiation and subrogation.
