A big project to implement but worth it at the end

Pros:

Having used other HR platforms, Bob definitely seems to have more robust features. Their support team has been very helpful so far, and we've heard a lot of excitement from our team about rolling this out. It's pretty flexible and customizable, and the home page is one of the best I've seen.

Cons:

The implementation is a very big, time consuming, project. As I mentioned there are a lot of features, so that requires a lot of set up. And unfortunately, not every feature is as straightforward as it may seem.

Difficult tool for smaller organisations

Pros:

As an employee, I find the interface to be very comfortable to locate information regarding my own employment, as well as submit time off notifications, etc. As a manager, while obviously the platform is only as useful as the information and features that our HR team chooses to include/utilize, I find the platform to be intuitive and clear - something which is not the case for many other products.

Cons:

As noted above, I find the tool to be rather comfortable and do not have specific critiques. I believe our team could likely utilize more features, but that is obviously a calculous of time needed to set up more functionality as compared with competing demands in a rapidly scaling business.

Fantastic, Flexible Option

Pros:

Unlike other HRIS companies I've worked with in the past, the Bob platform is incredibly flexible. I'm able to set up customized onboarding flows, employee fields, and reports for every instance. Surprises come up in HR a lot and HiBob can go with the flow.

Cons:

My least favorite feature is no good screen to view all holidays across the company for employees.

Alternatives Considered: BambooHR

Reasons for Switching to Bob: Bob had more flexibility and more integrations with our other systems.

Makes us look professional

Comments: Great solution and great company. Really easy to implement and the ? At the bottom that shows you a video on how to use the page is incredible for set up. Everything you need is in HiBob and there is always 2/3 different ways to do a task to suit each organisation.

Pros:

HiBob tracks all out HR data in one place and we can access it with ease. When we onboard new employees, they love it and it makes us look really professional as a company.

Cons:

The mobile app is great but you can’t see other people leave. A company view like there is on the desktop would be perfect.

Reasons for Choosing Bob: Breathe is good for a 1-20 man company that just wants to track holidays and not use a spreadsheet. If you want more then you get HiBob.

Reasons for Switching to Bob: Other companies experiences. They warned me off it from the time to set up and implement to overal use of the product.

Pros:

A central platform that can connect to all other satellites in your organization, versatile in so many ways.Bobs modules are great, you can define your own system and build as grow, from start-up to corporate

Cons:

We would love to have Calculation fields in compensation planning.And be able to define our own calculations for ex Annual Bonuses

Alternatives Considered: Oracle PeopleSoft, BambooHR and Workday HCM

Reasons for Switching to Bob: We wanted an HRM to feel like a hoodie, not a suit and tie

Good application for for small companies.

Comments: Overall experience is positive, small companies which have less then 1K employees might find this app very useful,

Pros:

Very simple look, and quite intuative. It is good for small companies for managing employees time punchs and holiday requests.

Cons:

Lacking of regular updates, and feels like a bit empty and basic regarding the functions that other similar apps provide such as Polaris PSA's "Replicon".

Comments: Excellent user friendly interface. UX experience is world class. Very intuitive and easy to use.

Pros:

I have used many tools like this and Bob is by far the best. In terms of interface it is very pleasant on the eye. The UX is top notch giving users an easy and effective way to navigate. I love the organizational structure feature as well, very simple to use.

Cons:

Almost nothing, you have to almost make something up to fill this space as there really isn’t a lot wrong with it.

Great hr tool for midsize companies

Comments: Bob as solution as well as bob implementation team and support are outstanding

Pros:

Implementation and deployment was a breeze. The adoption rate of the business is high.

Cons:

Absence of dependent fields when we started and it lacks the ability to customize reporting and homepage for different user groups

Reasons for Choosing Bob: Sap not suited for our needs - not agile enough

Bob has made our lives so easy

Comments: Bob has brought on so many efficiencies. Right from demo to implementation and now support, it has been smooth. There are some delays on certain tickets due to mutiple reasons.

Pros:

Flexibility, customisable, intuitive, user-friendly, real-time people changes, reporting etc. The list is long

Cons:

Integration with Netsuiote Infinite Cloud and conducting salary review via Bob using Package was hard

Simple, light, Great!

Comments: Overall experience is very good, much better than all previous solutions. Especially since it combines everything into one place which is neat and easy to use.

Pros:

Simple and easy to use system that centralizes everything for employees and managers. I find myself open it many times. I also used the API which was well documented and easy to use and created simple automations to pull out some information.

Cons:

Some of the screens are a bit overloaded and “old fashioned”. E.g the employee information. It could use a better UX and a fresh look.

Hibob is incredible!

Pros:

HiBob is incredibly convenient for efficiently compiling and organizing staff data, particularly when it comes to gathering specific information for various tasks and departments. Its flexibility significantly streamlines my workload, making managing data a breeze.

Cons:

HiBob is fantastic, but a feature I'd love to see is the ability to save preset report filters for different departments. This would streamline processes by having specific filters ready, eliminating the need to manually adjust them for each department's unique requirements. Implementing this would further boost efficiency and customization within the platform.

Best in class HR/People Software!

Comments: My overall experience is good , I think that its a good app to have and its going to get bigger as the years to come.

Pros:

I really enjoy having Bob on my tablet. It lets me see the polls or if certain questionnaires have been started I can see who engages with the comments and if they are good to take up on so that in the near future we can set the standards

It's a good social platform for company members.

Comments: I use Bob daily and it's essential for being able to view our people and resource planning, as well as for day to day people operations and reporting.

Pros:

Very easy to use as an HRIS, really great Dashboards feature and good basic Performance Management System.

Cons:

The Reporting feature could be more intuitive.

Comments: Ok, could be better as there are a few gaps in performance management and tracking. But overall fine.

Pros:

The home page is a user-friendly and nice to see an overview of birthdays/anniversaries/time off when opening up Hibob.

Cons:

The difficulty with adding time off policies for different countries and for people who have non-standard part-time hours.

Good for SMBs

Comments: Generally I really like using Bob - user-friendly as an administrator, and the support team is responsive and helpful

Pros:

Easy to use and integrates well with other software

Cons:

A lot of manual work is required if we need to make updates to the whole company - definitely wouldn't recommend to large companies (500+)
