Cloudflare is Invaluable!!

5.0 7 months ago

Comments: Cloudflare has been an invaluable tool to help reduce the attack profile of the websites I run.

Pros:

The fact that it hides the origin IP of websites, and allows page rules to direct traffic, even on the free plan.

Cons:

No problems with Cloudflare at all, always use it for my and customer's domains.

While there are some challenges with configuration and caching, the user-friendly interface and robust support make it a strong choice for most users.

Pros:

Cloudflare offers robust security features, improves website performance with its global CDN, provides reliable DDoS protection, and offers easy-to-use management tools.

Cons:

Cons of Cloudflare include potential service disruptions during configuration, occasional issues with caching, limited customization for advanced users, and dependency on their infrastructure for security and performance.

It does everything right

4.0 2 months ago

Comments: It has advanced protection that offers security against cyber attacks, protecting all applications, allowing good performance

Pros:

With the connectivity cloud I can have everything connected to everything for easy access to documents or information from anywhere. Its security is the most reliable because it makes everything flow correctly and with a fairly powerful and fast server that does not have slow loading times

Cons:

In itself, it does everything right and has not failed me at any time since its first day of operation

be aware, the are SCAMMERS

1.0 4 weeks ago New

Comments: months ago i converted all pro subscriptions to free, this is also neatly indicated in the account that it will change to free on the 27th of the month.... but every month they simply collect and the downgrade is moved one month. And now that I no longer have 1 active domain, they are now charging a pro subscription for 24x dirty dirty..........

Pros:

Now nothing afterwards, they are scammers

Cons:

Now nothing afterwards, they are scammers

All-in-One Solution for your websites

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: I've had a really smooth experience with Cloudflare. In addition to domain registration, they offer many options to make your website safer, faster, and more efficient. It’s everything you could want in one platform.

Pros:

In my opinion, Cloudflare is the best domain registrar out there. You only pay the basic ICANN fee with no additional charges - at least that's what they claim. It's cheaper compared to competition either way.

Cons:

I wish they had a mobile app so I could monitor website stats and other details more easily. However, their website is well-designed, which helps make up for it. Another drawback is that you can't change a domain’s name servers without a paid plan.

Cloudflare is

4.0 last year

Comments: We have used Cloudflare for our company and personal websites for over four years without many issues. They have great features and if you are not tech savvy with the installation of SSL Certs or setting up rules this product can help you a lot. Their support can be a bit hit and miss but you usually get a response within 24 hours. We have seen some of the biggest and best brands in the world use Cloudflare and it’s really good how much you get for the price.

Pros:

Our company uses Cloudflare for all of our websites. Cloudflare acts as a CDN, a firewall and also a performance layer for websites as well as protecting our websites from attacks. They respond to our needs quickly and it's relatively insexpensive

Cons:

The customer support could be a bit better.

Cloudflare is a poor-mans' dream for Content Delivery Optimization

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: Very positive. If you're running a website or web services and you don't have the big bucks to scale with Azure/AWS, then consider these guys. They very seldom let you down.

Pros:

What's not to love about it? It has some of the cheapest and fastest content delivery tools on the planet. It has a free tier if you're just a cheapskate, but the paid tiers are pretty modestly priced among industry competitors. There are basic security filters in place and a few other optimizations for regional support (they have more data centers than most others with less latency). Their DNS/Name services resolve quickly and with fewer disconnects.

Cons:

Support is kind of a chore, just because they have so many customers. I think it's something they're getting better at though.

Scanning vulnerabilities

4.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Experience is good, It helps and protect us from any vulnerbailities properly but sometime false alerts and blocking of few things becomes issue.

Pros:

1. Configuring and manging is effective in cloudflare. 2. Helps to secure and make our private environment with this. 3. It is pay as you go plan with centralized management.

Cons:

1. False alerts are one of the biggest issues that encounter almost every day. 2. Interface is little complex and clumsy. 3. Little latency in filtering the information and it usually block some useful scripts as well.

Cloudflare...has lost its luster

3.0 2 years ago

Comments: Cloudflare has evolved from a simple tool to guarantee 24/7 availability and quick response time. When I compared it to QUIC.cloud and LiteSpeed, I found it did not perform as well.

Pros:

Cloudflare provides a number of features that are important/essential for small business websites (DNS management, caching, SSL, etc.)

Cons:

Overly complex and increasingly expensive without achieving optimal performance and 24/7 guarantees.

Cloudflare as a front door for all external and internal services

5.0 8 months ago

Comments: In general, I am very impressed with Cloudflare.
All portals are easy to use and you can quickly find all the settings you need.
Furthermore, the help and documentation is very good!

Pros:

I find the simple operation of Clouadflare to be an advantage! It is very cool how the features work so well together. From the simple DNS to Zero Trust and the VPN tunnels. GREAT!

Cons:

I can not really say antything negative on this point at the moment, as nothing has happened yet.

Slick and Reliable

5.0 7 months ago

Pros:

What I liked most about Cloudflare is its robust security features, especially the DDoS protection and SSL/TLS encryption, which significantly enhanced my website's security. The global CDN improved load times, and the intuitive dashboard with detailed analytics made management straightforward.

Cons:

What I liked least about Cloudflare is the occasional complexity in configuring advanced features. While the basic setup is straightforward, some advanced settings can be confusing and require a steep learning curve. Additionally, customer support response times can sometimes be slow, which can be frustrating when dealing with urgent issues.

Peace of mind

5.0 8 months ago

Comments: Hugely positive and I've never used it to it's full potential.

Pros:

I came across cloudflare around 10 years ago following a significant DDOS attack against our business website. Following the attack out hosting company refused to continue hosting our website and we were forced to move. Our new host was happy to have us and recommended cloudflare as an additional layer of protection and I've been using it every since.

Cons:

When using their wordpress optimisation features, you never know whether they're conflict with another optimisation plugin.

Security will always be your aim here

5.0 last year

Comments: My overall experience was really satisfying

Pros:

I’m using cloudflare for 2 years now in using the DNS services to secure my computer and my network in general it’s like using a VPN without using a VPN which helped me to access lots of stuff that wasn’t available in my country of residence. The app has lots of uses for cybersecurity, computer security, network security etc and it’s really good and reliable

Cons:

It sometimes bugs or freezes but it’s hard to find an app with all these combined features in one place

Cloudflare - Online Security 24/7

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: The overall experience has been very positive. Protected, supported by a great service, with the options to alter and pivot in real time saves time and money. Cloudflare is a clear first choice.

Pros:

From the protection of domains, customizable firewall and caching rules, DDoS protection, and the ability of their support teams to implement better and faster solutions, Cloudflare is in my opinion a top tier choice for any company wanting to better protect their online presence.

Cons:

Some options in Cloudflare are defaulted to a lower standard then what is most secure currently.

Above and Beyond Cloud Security

5.0 last year

Comments: I use this for my own businesses, as well as employer organization, and would recommend it to my IT friends and colleagues if they also didn't already use it.

Pros:

I was blown away on initial use of Cloudflare and their free tier offerings, and has led me to consider further purchases of their services. Their DNS proxy service alone is invaluable, and I would be remiss to not use it.

Cons:

I do wish pricing offered more granularity for smaller organizations, as it can be confusing which products are free until you attempt to set up a service offered.

Enhancing Website Security, Performance, and Reliability: A Positive Experience with Cloudflare

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Cloudflare is well-regarded as a comprehensive solution for enhancing website security, performance, and reliability. Also, it's free SSL for beginner's websites.

Pros:

Cloudflare offers a comprehensive suite of security services, including DDoS protection, web application firewall, bot management, SSL/TLS encryption, etc. These features help to protect websites and applications from a range of threats, including hacking attempts, malware, and phishing scams.Cloudflare's global network of data centres and content delivery network (CDN) can improve website and application performance by reducing latency and delivering content faster. Cloudflare's load balancing and caching features can also help to distribute traffic across multiple servers, improving overall performance and availability.Cloudflare's user interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for businesses to set up and manage their security, performance, and reliability services.

Cons:

While Cloudflare offers a free tier with basic features, more advanced features and services are expensive. I am concerned about the amount of data Cloudflare collects about my websites, particularly if they handle sensitive or confidential information.
