Ability to capture lots of information is there but it overwhelming to find all the places to input.

Cons:

I haven’t really use this software a lot so I can’t really say a lot of things that I dislike about the software.

Comments: perfect software, intuitive and allows us to have access to information...but it would be better if it helped us to do better housekeeping

Pros:

super software that is very intuitive to use also makes it easy to have useful information to communicate with a client

User-friendly

Comments: The system is great and we are excited to see how it plays a part in our daily lives, but the sales portion could be worked on.

Pros:

I like how user-friendly the system is and that they set up team is dedicated to teaching us how to use the back side of the system so we are able to make our own customizations, imports, ect. without having to contact them.

Cons:

During the sales portion we were not told all of the fees included in set up in a clear way, the team seemed to work very hard to to maximize what we were paying for the original set up.

Comments: Overall we are pleased with Maximizer, It appears to be a bit archaic at times.

Pros:

Ability to have multi labels for our constituency.

Cons:

The pulling reports is cumbersome and not intuitive.

Maximizer makes my life better

Comments: Positive, but the more I use it the more I want more custom items. Maybe they exist and I don't know about them.

Pros:

Search function and auto formatting of phone numbers etc. Keeps our contacts organized.

Cons:

Lack of customization. Would like to add if else statements to enable/disable options based on earlier options. Would like more flexibility to create rules. I have to search for contacts with incorrect information on the regular

Maximizer is easy to use

Comments: Easy to use when you want to use it. Great way to create lists using filters so you can then create targeted emails.

Pros:

I love that I can see the history of emails, phone calls, etc between a team member and a customer and pick up where they may have left off at in the sales funnel. I also like that I can save the details of their purchase and quickly refer to it when they call with a service issue.

Cons:

The cost for this program is large for a small company of only 3 people. Some members do not feel it is worth the money and they do not use it to its full potential. They come from companies that used Sales force and want to continue with that program so trying to teach them this program has been tedious.

Alternatives Considered: Salesforce Sales Cloud

Reasons for Switching to Maximizer CRM: My last business partner used Maximizer and carried it over with him. I fell in love with it.

Great System, Helpful Staff

Comments: Great option for our team. Have never had any complaints.

Pros:

There are a number of great functions and very customizable. Entire team is able to access information at their finger tips.

Cons:

It took a bit of time to figure out how things can be customized. There are still a number of functions I am sure I am not aware of. I have tried to register for the coursed however, the links never work for me. I am working with our IT department to get this corrected.

A well build CRM

Comments: Besides the high price Maximizer CRM is a great tool and really helped our business.

Pros:

The setup was very easy and UI is very intuitive. Customer support is a 5* team, really helpful and easy to talk to. After importing all our contacts we were ready to start working.

Cons:

The price is high for the features it gives.

Alternatives Considered: Zoho CRM and HubSpot CRM

Longterm Maximizer Client

Comments: Started with DOS versions (1987), and have upgraded, and utilized this program every year!

Pros:

I certainly can manage a few clients, however for enough suspects/customers to be successful, having a Customer Management System (Maximizer CRM) gives me a means to succeed.

Cons:

Annual subscription vs previous versions (DOS and Windows) which I could purchase and use until I wanted to upgrade to the new version

Great Product to Keep Your Business Running Smoothly

Comments: Maximizer is a very important part of our day, we check it to see what tasks we have coming up, have completed, and what we are waiting for. It makes our day run smoothly and keeps everyone on track.

Pros:

The features I like about Maximizer is that it is easy to use. There are many features that we use to keep the company running smoothly, even if someone is on holidays. You can add their tasks to yours so you know what needs to be done while they are away. The program keeps the client's files secure and easy to access when looking for a form. The customer service is wonderful and fast in helping find solutions.

Cons:

There isn't much negative I can say. I don't use alot of the features, because I don't have time to just play around and see what else I could use to help with efficiency.

Perspective from an almost retired user

Pros:

The support during the transition from another CRM was exceptional. The training videos and online webinar have been most helpful in the early days of being a user. Office app integration for the most part have been trouble free.

Cons:

The interface with the dealer's system (IPC) was way too slow to be of any practical use. It hung up way too often and after 3 minutes of watching the circle of doom, I used to retrieve the pertinent data directly from the manufacturer's website. A highly desirable feature that motivated me to sign up in the first place ended up being a costly proposition that added no value.

Overall Poor Quality and Poor Service one set up

Comments: Overall experience was very poor. I would recommend going with a different CRM software solution.

Pros:

The software is easy to alter to fit specific processes. They have doe a good job in making the software easy to change without having to hire a tach support team to make the changes.

Cons:

The software is VERY basic and doesn't have the ability to sync with multiple email addresses, link emails to the software after they have been sent, there is no email automation to speak of, you have to click multiple times to link every single email to Maximizer. I came over from Salesforce and should have just bit the bullet and paid the extra set up costs. You better hope you don't have a technical problem as you will have to follow up with them multiple times over the course of several weeks to get the problem fixed all the while your functionality is at a stand still.

Comments: Overall, it works for what we use. I have been with Maximizer for over 25 years. The cost continues to increase and of course that is a factor.

Pros:

I like that we have one place to look for information on our clients. We have saved a lot of trees because of this feature. I don't use a lot of the features available through Maximizer, but this one is critical.

Cons:

I would like to be able to send out appointment invites. I really would like a search option so we can find files saved under each client easier. This one would save us a lot of time.

Comments: Its ok. What really put me off is every time you need some assistance they turn it into a huge billable hour exercise. Talk about ripping off your customers.

Pros:

The product out of the box works for what we need, I have the advisor template on mine and it still has the design on selling, and the sales process. This inst the focus of the average advisor. This does the basic features required. however it certainly isn't what it could be.

Cons:

It doesn't have the ability to track products well. It took leads tab and renamed it opportunities and felt that was a improvement. it wasn't. We end up using a global note to record and track all items a client has with us.

Difficult to set-up, pay as you go support, pieced together from other CRM's

Comments: If you are not a savvy database programer or don't have a staff member that is, then you will likely find this CRM to be very difficult to use and customize to your practice. The cost keeps increasing and once you have been using the system, the company knows they have you on the hook and will keep the price increases rolling your way. Using this is like being caught between a rock and a hard place.

Pros:

Online access from anywhere. Dashboard provides a good overview of your business. Wealth edition has some customization to the financial industry.

Cons:

The way it is sold and supported is not CUSTOMER friendly. The resellers charge for everything and don't want to teach you how to be independent of them. They would rather do it for you without educating you. Pretty expensive. The webinar support is inadequate, they won't answer some questions and tell you that they have people you can pay to get that done. We should be able to learn it ourselves. You will have to buy a second access for your Administrative Support person, which is not the case with all competitor products and seems like a cash grab. Subscription is paid annually not monthly, so if you don't like it you are out a big chunk of money. Will not separate out billing for multiple advisors in a firm.

Maximizer great for lead management

Comments: Overall, generally happy with the product. Service is good as well.

Pros:

The fact that we can sort on all kinds of UDFs and export the results. Also, great for keeping track of customers and prospects.

Cons:

We could not get the Dashboard to work as we wanted it to.

Max is great!

Comments: Since we have been a user of this product for MANY years, I think that speaks for itself. :)

Pros:

Ease of morphing to our needs to keep us in the know about our daily routine, as well as the ability to source our data.

Cons:

Inability to change color scheme, with that being such an easy remedy, wish that was a priority for Max.

HMECU - Maximizer CRM Review

Comments: It's been fantastic. I don't know how our department functioned without the use of a CRM system but very grateful we are able to utilize Maximizer as it makes tracking things so much easier.

Pros:

I love the ease of use - very simple to train a new employee on how it functions in our day to day tasks. It's critical to our success that we have notes and data available quickly and Maximizer ticks all the boxes. The company is extremely pleased with the purchase thus far.

Cons:

I feel like the Administration tab could be a bit more user friendly. Had some trouble starting out but the videos on the Youtube channel were helpful. Just time consuming to explain to another member of the team.

Comments: We decided to stick with Maximizer and upgraded to the newest version mainly because it was an easier transition with the least amount of error is transferring all of our customer info. We also like the fact that it is a cloud based software so that we can access it from anywhere and no longer face the terror of losing all of our info if our computer were to crash.

Pros:

I recently upgraded from a very old version and appreciate how easy the transition was and how similar they have kept the product.

Cons:

There are a lot of upgraded features, which is great, but I find I definitely need to take the courses. Which is a great feature that they offer.

Comments: I am very please with the software. I had a chance a few months back to change CRM's and I actually made that decision to change but after using the other CRM I cancel and went back to Maximizer. So much easier to use.

Pros:

I like the interface of the Maximizer software make it very easy to sort and find specific clients. I use the Hot-list section on a daily basis and it again makes it very easy to find the clients you need to contact on a specific day..

Cons:

Some of there add on or third party software partner do not always work properly or I should say work without a lot of effort to get them to work.

Every business needs a CRM

Comments: Great product, out standing service. The service maximizer provides is second to none, the best I’ve seen.

Pros:

Maximizer provides the focus of our business. Including a segmented contact list, a dash board with details about the services customers have with us, all paper relating to customers scanned into maximizer (no longer using files) and marketing tools. Maximizer is no longer optional for our business. Great software.

Cons:

The parts we liked least really had to do with our knowleadge. As our knowleadge about the software grows the less we dislike.
