Simply the best

5.0 last week New

Comments: Just superb.
I have been using and implementing Connecteam for a decade, in organizations as small as 8 employees, and as large as 400 in Hospitality - and cant recommend them enough!

Pros:

Connecteam product is top notch, very intuitive. Tech support is first class And the continous product improvments are inspiring.

Cons:

New pricing is a bit tricky, and could be more forgiving. However, the free option is good at small scale

Great program

5.0 last week New

Comments: Having used it for a few years now after working in many other customer systems this one has proven to be the best overall in my humble opinion.

Pros:

The ease in which you are able to input all relevant information and send to the employees either individually or in a group has made the operational process so much easier.

Cons:

There are occasions where tweaks are made without prior knowledge and some are not relevant to our business however this is a minor annoyance.

Alternatives Considered: Mail Assure

Reasons for Choosing Connecteam: Antiquated for what we required from our system.

Switched From: Microsoft Access

Reasons for Switching to Connecteam: Had what we needed while others had a great deal of things not required in our business.

Good but not Great. Needs to improve.

2.0 last month New

Comments: Have used it with a client but it's not very easy to use beyond just chatting with them. Seems like limited functionality

Pros:

It's available on both web and apps. Seems like easy to use.

Cons:

It's confusing maybe because of limited access that one can have but it seems like you can't get the most out of it compare to a slack for example.

Connecteam Response

last month

Thank you for your feedback! We're unsure if you refer only to the Chat (since you compared it to Slack) or to other functions in the platform. Also, was the limited access due to the selected plan or restrictions set in the account? If you'd like to share more, feel free to contact us :) Thank you!

The Best ConnecTeam Review

5.0 last week New

Comments: Overall I enjoy the experience with Connecteam, it is easy to understand and simple to teach to new people. It is pleasing to look at and has many filters and colors to keep things organized.

Pros:

The organization is my favorite part, including all the color options allowing for a clean, neat, and organized schedule.

Cons:

What I like the least is there is no clear warning when a scheduled shift overlaps with a new shift I try to add so it leaves room for error of accidentally scheduling someone for one department when they are already scheduled in another. This makes me spend more time triple checking the final schedule.

Recommended for rota function

5.0 last week New

Comments: been really good, I'd recommend it to anyone with a team to coordinate!

Pros:

We use it mostly for the rota facility and it's great, we were working with paper calendars, spreadsheets, taking photos, sending it in the whatsapp group, it was hard to track changes - now the staff can request changes with each other, we can approve it in the app and it's done and everyone can see, really simple

Cons:

We are a small charity running a cafe, so it's a bit on the expensive side, but it makes life so much better, so it was worth the investment

Alternatives Considered: Team Up CRM

Reasons for Choosing Connecteam: It was too hard to track, confusing to look at and everyone didn't have access so you had to make the change, screenshot and send to all each time

Switched From: Microsoft Excel

Reasons for Switching to Connecteam: The functionality of the rota was so good and so easy to read and to use, I've not found an app that does this as well, we looked at others as well, I just can't remember what they were

Excellent Software for Business

4.0 last week New

Comments: WE have been users for over two years and the product is reliable and works very well for our staff to do scheduling, communication and time keeping.

Pros:

We really like the clocking features for time cards and handling all of our employees clock in and clock out as well as vacations.

Cons:

sometimes the user interface is difficult to find what you need and not as intuitive as one would like

Alternatives Considered: Quicken

Reasons for Switching to Connecteam: I don't remember the other products but this seemed easy to use

Connecteam For Swim School

5.0 last month New

Comments: Wonderful. From the sales team to the onboarding team, they were amazing. They also have the option of getting more training at anytime.

Pros:

Connecteam allows you to create teams to communicate with in real time. Managers, Supervisors, Employees all can have a unique chat group.

Cons:

The incentive program. The only option is for prepaid gift cards. We would prefer to design our own program.

Great product

4.0 last week New

Comments: Really great. Their product is not designed for my use case but it's so customizable that I am able to make it work really well for what I need.

Pros:

Everything. It's functionality and customization are amazing for managing employees. They are very quick to respond when you need them and they are constantly improving based on their users needs/

Cons:

The app can take a bit to reload or can be slow to respond between parts.

Alternatives Considered: WhenToWork

Reasons for Choosing Connecteam: This product combined all of our previous systems into one system.

Switched From: GroupMe, Google Calendar and Microsoft Excel

Reasons for Switching to Connecteam: Had all the features I wanted in one place and APP!

Connectteam is worth a look if you need better communication!

4.0 last week New

Comments: Overall, I would have to say that Connectteam has help our company be on the same page better.

Pros:

Connecting my team via the updates and using chat has really helped work more efficiently and smoothly. Started using the timeclock which is not too shabby. The Job Scheduling is decent but complicated.

Cons:

The layers of complexity of settings within settings and admin rights to this or that is hard to sort out and set. You have to spend many hours watching videos and trying settings to figure out what works for you. So much trial and error. You can really tell different teams developed different parts. Also wish Connectteam would understand that most employees will not/do not have a desktop (and that includes managers), so when you say "the magic happens at the desktop level" that means little to nothing to most of my team. They use the app only.. myself, and a backup admin, use the desktop mostly. Just remember that when constructing features. Overall it is pricey. And they hide that one final perk to a section behind the next upgrade which means more cost.

Alternatives Considered: Slack

Reasons for Switching to Connecteam: I think I like the look of the app which was the most important aspect. The update section looked very friendly on the app.

Biggest bang for your buck!

5.0 6 days ago New

Comments: Very good so far. We’ve been using Connecteam for about a year now and I’m very happy with the investment. We use many of the tools from the scheduler and timesheets (which export directly into Gusto) to celebration’s and rewards. That platform makes our organization more professional.

Pros:

The amount of different tasks I can accomplish on one platform.

Cons:

Sometimes it takes a little time to get support when I’m stuck.

Alternatives Considered: monday.com

Reasons for Choosing Connecteam: Better solution for us. We were able to consolidate several platforms in just one.

Great asset to our companies growth

4.0 last week New

Comments: Overall the experience has been great and they continue tonnage and had great new features to their portfolio.

Pros:

It’s versatility and ability to communicate across different channels of our organization

Cons:

The ability to work every function of your organization. For instance with tracking mileage. We have to use a separate software to do this. Although connectteams has maps, it does not allow us to track our employees mileage.

Little Police Department gets a Big help

4.0 last year

Comments: The initial implementation was rocky, but as we used it and learned what it was capable of and what features were being added it has become an invaluable tool we use every day.

Pros:

Connecteam was easy to set up and deploy. The changes and improvements that came over the last year and a half or so were timely and (with 1 exception that was only an issue for about a month) improved the value of the program greatly.

Cons:

There is a bit of a learning curve for people who are not used to using an app for scheduling ( I still have officers calling me to make changes on the schedule they have permission to do). There are some training videos now, but initially it was a "learn as you go" program. I still don't know all the uses that the features we pay for can do.

Alternatives Considered: 7shifts, Sling and Homebase

Reasons for Switching to Connecteam: Honestly it was the only app that allowed for a shift to repeat every 32 days (which was the length of the cycle on the 4on/4off-2weeks days/2weeks nights schedule we were using at the time. That function has since been removed, and we needed it for a while, but I was able to use Excel to bridge the gap for a few months until we needed to adapt our schedule due to manpower changes.

Best Tool We've Worked With

5.0 last week New

Comments: It's been great so far! I think we are fairly satisfied with the product.

Pros:

The interface is very intuitive and the policy features are great. I like the Geofencing capabilities, reoccuring shift option and the smart grouping capabilities.

Cons:

I’d love to see the PTO policy feature account for employees' scheduled workdays more accurately. Currently, if an employee requests time off from Friday through Tuesday, but they don’t typically work on Saturdays and Sundays, those non-working days still count against their allotted PTO hours. As a result, employees have to submit multiple requests to avoid unnecessary deductions. It would be great if the software could automatically recognize and exclude non-scheduled days when processing PTO requests.

Loving the connectivity this provides our staff!

4.0 last week New

Comments: Honestly, the best part has been being able to get help from staff, even if the question seems silly. We've had a great time with the app, even if only 2/3 of the staff use it regularly. We love the user friendly concept as we have staff who are technology challenged who have been able to navigate the app.

Pros:

We love the ability to keep our staff connected to each other and to be able to share important company and community updates in a place where all can see it- as we have work from home and in person staff.

Cons:

We wish were able to make the plan a little more customizable to what we need. We have some features we don't use and some we would love to add but it isn't enough to justify the upgrade to the next level.

Connecteam can revolutionize your business

5.0 last week New

Comments: Excellent. Tremendous support. Forward thinking by constantly developing new features.

Pros:

Connecteam is an outstanding product. We have been using it since 2019 with about 100 employees. We mainly use it for Time Clock/Time Off, checklists and forms, communicating mass information. Our employees find it's interface appealing and very easy to use. It has converted many manual processes to automatic, which has saved tremendous time and helped us standardize and steamline some of our core processes.

Cons:

The API integration is needed for our payroll provider, but it is cost prohibitive at this time.

I loved implementing and executing Connecteam!

5.0 last week New

Comments: Its been super fun! I love having HR on its own tab. Training is easy too.

Pros:

I enjoy the geocircles for team members clocking in an out. We mostly use the chat feature as well - groups are great! Keeps the texting to a minimum while allowing inter-office communication to be fast and easy on the phone or computer.

Cons:

The Shifts. I'd rather have full-on scheduler. I understand the allure of having a team member accept a shift, but the truth is its hard to get salaried team members to use it so that shifts that might be covered by an hourly TM who is out sick is still accounted for. I'd rather be able to fully assign a shift without the TM having to go back and accept it every single time.

Great way to schedule and communicate with employees

4.0 last week New

Comments: Overall very good. And your team is very easy to work with when I do have a problem - which is rare.

Pros:

It is a great way to schedule employees and maintain communication

Cons:

Many of the features we would like to use require an add-on but there is not one significant add on plan that has all of those features.

Great app for all your communication needs, that you can alter.

5.0 last week New

Comments: Great product at a very reasonable price. You could your own checklist, forms and more. Can not go wrong with Connecteam

Pros:

All the communication tools we need to keep our entire team in the loop.

Cons:

Like any product the learning curve, knowing where to find and how to do. Takes some time to learn but once you do it is easy.

Overall, it's pretty intuitive

4.0 last week New

Comments: Overall, the software and app are pretty intuitive to use. I find that the app works well, regardless of whether it is being used on an iPhone or Android phone. I'm mostly satisfied with its functionality and ease of use

Pros:

Using Connecteam on the computer works like a dream. It is fully customizable for NEARLY any function you can think of.

Cons:

The mobile app is limited, and that's a deficiency to me. I wish certain clocking in/out limits were customizable for each role, be it admin or employee. For instance, I "clock in" with the rest of my team each day although I am salaried. Yet the hours-worked limits apply to all app users the same, regardless of the different roles. I wish that were not the case. Caveat: this may be possible to do, and I just don't know how to do it. And if it is possible, I rescind my critique.

Great App - Easy to use (downside is pay for each new feature), but would buy again

5.0 last week New

Comments: great - easy to use (we mainly use for time clock, scheduling, and time off requests). Our staff has found it very easy to use. Saves me tons of time for payroll, shit edits, and time off requests.

Pros:

Easy to use, very comprehensive platform, employees love it

Cons:

I don't like how each thing you might want access to requires an additional fee, but I get it, each feature they add requires more efford on their part

Good Tool for the Team

5.0 last week New

Comments: Overall experience has been good. The staff likes it and we have moved our entire scheduling process to the app as well as using it for communication and clocking in and out.

Pros:

I like the ease of use. I don't have to train anyone on it, it is very intuitive for the staff. I also like we have have the ability to keep everything in one place

Cons:

I don't like how much I am asked to upgrade. I would like to be able to pick what I want ala cart. I also don't think i ever got my referral credit for referring my one company to another.
