Great time tracker!
Pros:
I love the ease-of-use with the time tracker and the ability to review all time tracked each week. It helps me easily put together my invoices at the end of each month.
Cons:
The Reports dashboard is a little confusing and could be improved.

Comments: I have been using similar apps for over 6 years and in the last 3 years I am using only MyHours app - it is the best from my point of view. It has a really simple format allowing it to be quickly understood by new users and it responds to most of my requirements.MyHours is available in web and app mode and allowing to be used anywhere and at any time which can really help if you have a lot of small customers. You always can add, edit and check notes regarding your job tasks, time tracking, create any notes, and even add some images for recording. Reports from MyHours help me to create invoices, and avoid any situation when I can forget something.I have to add, It is reliable - I didn't find any losses in my records and didn't meet any interruption in access to my data over all time. As I am using it just for my individual small businesses, I can truly confirm - It's a nice solution for that.

Details our billing for our wide range of clients
Comments: We track an international team of ~30 and hundreds of clients on this software. Ultimately for the price, this has been the best value per dollar since our productivity tools lie elsewhere and we use MyHours purely for tracking billable time per client. We've been able to expand from the basic features and use the "Task" feature quite robustly to handle some of the much larger accounts that essentially house "sub-accounts". For a growing startup looking to keep costs down, MyHours has been good to us. Last year we explored other options as our company suddenly expanded and decided that a simple solution was still the best solution for us even 6 years in.
Pros:
I like how simple the interface is for the single thing that is done the most every day: tracking hours. Just select client and hit start. If you want more details that can be provided, but we've been able to track a lot of data from just the user, the client, and the amount of hours alone
Cons:
As a graphic designer I wish the interface was a bit more beautiful, but as a ux designer I know that it's value lies in the simplicity of the interaction not how pretty the buttons are. But I still wish the single app I use the most times a day was nicer to look at.

Comments: Using My Hours delivers a rewarding and pleasant experience to the otherwise mundane task of time tracking and reporting.
Pros:
The interface to enter hours by project and task with tags either manually or automatic time tracking. The clean crisp appearance, the configurability, as well as the customization capabilities of the Activity Report.
Cons:
Sometimes I have to think a bit on how to switch time tracking modes, for example from the daily time log to the weekly timesheet view.

Best Value for Money
Comments: I find that it's much easier to provide a time sheet to my client, and I like the layout and the reporting function of My Hours. I'm now considering to upgrade my free plan so I can utilise the time budget feature.

There is so much value in the Free plan. It's easy to use, and I like the layout.
Cons:
I would love a desktop app for Mac please. Sometimes I forget to stop the timer on the browser. I'm afraid I don't like using the app on my phone as I find my phone distracting when I'm at work so rather not have to touch the phone.

Comments: I use MyHours every day. It keeps me sane. It stops we overworking or underworking. It also gives me the power to assess individual areas of my business, life, and projects so I can fine tune and not live in la la land when it comes to understanding how long creative projects (and non-creative for that matter) actually take. Critical when it comes to pricing projects and determining the right fee level.

You can copy from the previous week so you don't have to rebuild your timesheet. You can see your whole week spread of projects, tasks, and time and edit the whole lot with an overview of everything.

My Hours has the functionality I need and is easy to use.
Comments: Very good experience. On the rare occasion I have asked for customer support I've been pleased with the responsiveness. I feel that the subscription is very well priced. I signed up for the paid PRO version. Really pleased with the functionality. Though for a period I did not need the invoicing feature, so it was an added bonus that I could switch to the free version for just tracking hours, and my history was retained.
Pros:
I like that I can track by project and then different ways within the project. I choose hours. Then I can pull a summary as well as generate an invoice. Very easy and clean and very cost effective.
Cons:
If I had to pick something, first I'll preface by saying in no way is this a deal breaker. But the calendar starts with Monday, instead of the US calendar view I am more familiar with which starts on Sunday.

Best Hourly Software for Virtual Assistants
Comments: I often work on projects that are paid by the hour and I use My Hours to time myself as I work. It's so easy to customize to each project!
Pros:
With a virtual career, I often need to track my hours when working. I have been through several different types of time management software and only My Hours has worked for my needs. It's customizable for my business and its interface works seamlessly between all my pieces of technology. I really like how easy it is to pull reports from the Dashboard when I need to submit my hours to the company.
Cons:
There is only one feature missing from the software that I have determined after using it for almost a year. When a report is pulled up, I would like to be able to click to a certain day on the graph. Right now the bar graphs are not hyperlinked to the actual working hours.

I really enjoy the various views this system provides. It is important to break down the same information in different ways to help explain to contractors, employees, and vendors.

I do wish it was easier to back-date time entries.
Great products and I recommend, but some improvement needed
Comments: My main use for this software is for my Graphic Designer business, but I recently started to use it also with my second job as IT Business Analyst and I can say, as an analyst, that the product is well design and simple. Once the mobile version is fixed and the ability to connect via API is rendered available, I think this product could be perfect for any company, at least in IT and Graphic Design.
Pros:
The ability to enter the time online is a great plus. The tracking of time by project, client, tasks, etc. is really accurate and really helps to do a better management of hours per project and helps a lot for the billing of customers.
Cons:
The interface is really bad on mobile devices (mostly cellphones). On tablets it's not so bad, but cellphone really need a major improvement. Also, and I want to indicate that it may be a lack of knowledge on my part, but I still haven't found the ability to connect to the software using an API to connect with a Payroll system.
Great Project Tracking Software
Comments: When I started this position three years ago it was a brand new position. My manager wanted me to track the amount of time I spent on different projects so we could better define the role. I tried a few different things before I found My Hours, and I've been using it ever since. I love it! (And so does she! In our last meeting she said she wished everyone in the department kept track of their time with My Hours!)
Pros:
The ability to keep track of the hours I spend on all the different projects I work on for my department.
Cons:
The reports. When I print them as PDF the page sometimes breaks across the charts. I'd like to be able to set my own page breaks.

Perfect for Virtual Time Tracking
Comments: I really enjoy using this product. One of my clients just started using another app for their contract employees, which is very similar to My Hours, but I have no intention of changing. My Hours is the perfect app for my needs.
Pros:
It's easy to use, customizable to your needs, and the reports are very robust. The customer service is very helpful and timely. I initially used another product but am so glad I changed to this one.
Cons:
I have not found anything that I do not like, however, I am the only one using it. I do not have a team that I need to manage.
Accurate billing and time tracking
Comments: The software is easy to understand. I use it daily to track my time and manage my projects to give my clients an accurate breakdown of the time spent in order to reflect the fair monetary value at the end of the month.
Pros:
I love the automated billing feature for every individual project created that ensures I bill my clients fairly and give them a detailed report on how their hours were spent.
Cons:
Sometimes the email functionality or summery does not work, and I try again later...
Flexible and reliable time tracking for multiple projects
Comments:
Overall I find it easy to log in to MyHours at the start of my work day and to jump between tasks.
I rely on the reporting to complete my company monthly timesheet which insists on me entering a % of my time spent on each project and task.
Pros:
- Easy to start and stop time recording - Ability to continue tracking time of tasks from earlier in the day or week - ability to report the % of my monthly time spent at both project and task level
Cons:
- in Dashboard report, no way to display a column for % time for tasks inside each project. (I have requested this feature multiple times but you are ignoring me!) The dashboard bar charts DO show % but the table below listing tasks and projects does not and cannot be customized. My employer needs % time use on each task, and currently I need to manually calculate! - in the latest UI, the 'Start new' button starts recording time against an 'empty' record. I am forced to open it and add details. What I want it to do is exactly the same as the '+ Add time log' button. That is, open the editor for me to enter Project, task, etc, and only start recording time when I click the blue 'Add time log' button. - - in the latest UI, when I '+ Add time log' , I want the editor to close immediately after I click the blue 'Add time log' button, to save space of the screen. (It is unlikely users want to add multiple time logs one after the other.) - in the latest UI, the blue 'Add time log' button (below the editor) should be renamed "Add and Start" to make it obvious that time recording will start. - the 'Favorite log' feature is non-intuitive and clunky. Suggest adding a simple 'star' icon to each task which I can click to make it a favorite. OR on the Edit time log dialog, add a 'star' icon I can click - when I 'Add a favourite time log', I want the editor to close immediately, to save space of the screen. (It is unlikely users want to add multiple favorites one after the other.)
My Hours Highly Recommended for Time Tracking and Invoicing!
Comments: I've been using My Hours for over 3 years. Anytime I've had issues, questions or requests, I've been able to chat with the Help staff and ALWAYS receive a prompt response and resolution to my question/issue. I find it to be intuitive and very user friendly - and creates administrative efficiencies so that I can focus on the actual work! Great value for the price!
Pros:
I am an independent consultant and use My Hours daily to track my work time for several clients. I am able to create tasks specific to my work/industry and thus can track HOW I spend my time for each client. Additionally, I can easily and efficiently generate invoices at the end of each month and attach detailed reports to detail my work.
Cons:
I'd like to be able to generate an invoice with the corresponding detail/report in one go. Currently, I generate the detailed or dashboard report separately, PDF it and attach it as back-up to the corresponding invoice.

Comments: I use Myhours even though I have changed jobs and work at a place that does have and require use of an official time keeping app. But I can't have a live clock going as I work. So I still use my hours as I go about the week to record time and then enter it into the other app
Pros:
I started using Myhours when I worked in a small NGO that didn't have their own time management system. I found My hours accessible (I used it myself and wasn't paid for by the company so it was great that the free version had all the basic functions), and intuitive It was easy to create a new task if you needed to without spending a long time setting it up, it was convenient to just turn the clock on and off as you went and reporting functions were good as I could create an activity report and email it to payroll quickly..
Cons:
Honestly I only have two things I didn't like. Firstly the occasional bugs where sometimes time doesn't get recorded or won't stop when I click on stop. But this hasn't happened in a while so that's good. The other is that It seems I can no longer get an activity report in excel format downloaded in the free version. I understand you want to limit the free version, but given that was available before I found it a bit inconvenient suddenly.
Great tool for tracking time on projects!
Comments: Love this software -- and did I mention its free for one user! I don't bill for my time, but I do need to keep track of time spent on various projects and on tasks within those projects. I work a helpdesk in a addition to various documentation projects. So during the day, when I pick up the phone to answer a helpdesk question, I just click to start tracking my time. When I'm done, I click back to tracking the documentation project that I was working on. Super simple! Great for reporting on my time spent -- however it was spent! I will be retiring in a couple of years and plan to work as a professional genealogist. I will definitely be using MyHours to keep track of my time spent then!!! Thanks so much for a great product!
Pros:
Easy to set up projects that you need track your time on. Easy to add tasks so that you can identify how you are spending your time on a particular project. Super easy to switch from project to project as you work through your day. Love being able to add all the projects that I plan to work on that day and then switch between them. Great tool to get reports on time spent on projects over a year for yearly job review (Bleh!). Not to mention Free for just one user (me!).
Cons:
Could do with more flexible report options. The new report functionality is a bit more difficult to use than the previous ones.
An essential tool for capturing time, saving time during billing
Pros:
Situation: We are a 19-year-old public relations agency with multiple clients and an extraordinary range and number of projects. Our last time tracking system’s company closed. We researched available replacement options and decided to give My Hours a try based on their free trail period. Less than a week into the trial period, we knew My Hours was what we wanted. Advantages: 1) We capture more time and more easily. It is so easy to start a time log that we are capturing every action down to tasks requiring only several minutes. This gives us a more accurate accounting of our time – time we could not capture before. 2) Doing company-wide activity reports and sending invoices consumed a full day prior to My Hours. We estimate we are completing activity reports and invoicing in about three hours not eight. And doing so much more simply with less frustration, and with more accurate record keeping in terms of project actions. The My Hours reporting function gives us the information we need in the form we need it in. The first time we relied on My Hours as the basis of reporting our time and project status to clients, it paid for itself. 3) Interestingly and unexpectedly, My Hours gives us a project management tool. Administrators can see the status of projects based on the work of the extended team. I know there are aspects of My Hours that we have not explored. We look forward to doing so. My Hours is one of our most important productivity tools.

Sometimes it is a little difficult to find the answer to a question we have. This may be simply part of the learning curve which is pretty shallow. It's easy to use.
Use it as a single user and I love it!
Pros:
What I like most about this software is the ease of setting up projects and selecting projects for time entry. I love the different settings for time entry also, the 'standard' way and the quick mode. I also like how I can automatically assign tasks to every new project, that is so helpful! Overall, I think the architects and developers have done a great job making this software simple, powerful and easy to use! The user experience is phenomenal and I'm not overloaded with options!
Cons:
What I like least about this software is that it seems as though it has trouble loading sometimes and "hangs", especially when I modify a time entry. It feels like the server is undergoing maintenance and it has trouble connecting. It's not often and this hasn't deterred me from using it, but it is the first negative attribute that comes to mind. Also, I wish the software had a feature to report and track time in decimal notation.

Easy to use though lacking key features for invoicing
Comments: Overall, my experience has been good with the exception of the customer service interaction - providing a poor excuse for the lack if functionality - and the extra time required to create, export and then combine Activity Reports into Invoice PDFs.
Pros:
The app is super easy to setup, launch and provides options for various billing rates and billing increments (on the paid plans). The interface is fairly intuitive and nicely laid out.
Cons:
There is currently no way to show the details of time billed, when creating invoices. So, you can create an invoice that shows one line item and a total.. which is a huge oversight. Most clients require greater detail of time billed - eg what tasks were completed or milestones met - during a billing cycle. Showing specific activity, for hours being billed, is of prime importance to paying customers. The only alternative is to create a separate Activity Report AND an Invoice, and attach or combined the Activity Report to the Invoice PDF. The response I received from Customer Support was that 'My Hours is not an accounting application. It is a top time tracking application that offers simple invoicing.' A poor excuse to say the least. If you are going to include a feature that allows the tracking of details for time billed, allow an option to include that, or not, in the invoice. It really isn't that difficult - I say this as an owner, and long time professional, of a design and development group.

Comments: I am super happy with the system and I appreciate that the developer is always looking to make improvements.

It is very user friendly and allows me full flexibility with my different charging methods for clients. I love the reporting also. Saves me lots of time.
Cons:
I wish I could figure out (myself) how to integrate it with my Quickbooks online.
My Hours time-tracking software
Comments: Our employees are happy using My Hours for their hours and tasks on a variety of projects. I haven't had one complaint! The administrator features are flexible and easy to use. Over all a very positive experience with this product and I can certainly recommend it as a cost-effective product for time-tracking.
Pros:
My Hours time-tracking software provides everything we need as a small business both for our payroll time-tracking and for customer billing. We've been using it for several years now without any problems. The customer support is great and any questions are answered by return email within 24 hours. The My Hours team are always listening to customer feedback and improving the product. It's great value for money.
Cons:
When I'm running the Activity feature, I'd like to be able to expand the width of the columns but this can be done when exported to Excel format so it's not a big deal. Also, the time format of the Activity feature is only available in hours & minutes unless you export to Excel (as 'export' not 'report') where it appears in both hours & minutes and decimal format.

Comments: My overall experience with My Hours has been excellent, and I have found it to be a valuable tool, especially when I get busy.
Pros:
How easy it is to use. I'm a graphic designer who works for an agency as well as for myself, and My Hours has really helped me keep track of the time I give to tasks. My clients also really appreciate that I give them a breakdown of how much time I gave to their jobs and in what areas I focused my time.
Cons:
Not so much a con, but it would be great if I could somehow set up the way in which My Hours exports EXCEL sheets, with regards to what information is displayed in what order and under what heading. A sort of 'custom export option' if you will, so that it exports them in my desired format and layout with the click of a button.

Simplest time tracker
Comments:
I have been using My Hours for years now, and I've always been attracted by the simplicity and the ease of input. It helped me track my time most readily versus other apps that have cumbersome interfaces. Unfortunately I cannot use it exclusively for my needs, I need more project managing tools as well. But as for organizing tasks and recurring items, this app does it perfectly!
I can't really use the invoicing feature because in Romania (where I'm from) we have different ways of invoicing to make our lives better.
Pros:
Ease of use of the interface - I can create reusable tasks Instant time tracking. Click now, fill in the details later. Perfect difficulty level for adding details. Reusable tasks means good information overview for clients and projects and tasks.
Cons:
Slow mobile app for Android: the app takes a while to load, and it doesn't resemble the quality of the web application. The invoices are not great for international use, I'm missing a few features.
