A great Employee Recognition tool that is adopted quickly and used regularly

4.0 last year

Pros:

The adoption was quick and effective and ongoing use hasn't waned after 2+ years.

Cons:

The lack of strategic reporting that helps prove how employee recognition programs actually impact morale/culture -- is lacking.

Motivosity Overview

5.0 7 months ago

Pros:

I love the employee engagement! Our team works mostly remotely so it creates a space where we can all come and connect and interact on a platform that feels comfortable and similar to the social media we almost all use already.

Cons:

The least favorable thing is the tedious initial leg work to set up the online store for redemption.

In my opinion the best Employee Recognition platform on the market!

5.0 7 months ago

Comments: WONDERFUL! Our employees love it, and the feature of having the physical reloadable card is amazing!

Pros:

Our Rep. [sensitive content hidden] is always keeping me up to date with new features and is helpful when I have questions or issues arrise.

Cons:

The new funding process has been difficult. Even with a rule to deposit more funds when we hit the 1k mark, the 5-6 business days for it to post to our account is frustrating to say the least.

Great Tool for Employee Engagement

5.0 9 months ago

Comments: It's been a great tool for engagement. Our front-line team loves it. I don't think we would see the same level of engagement with higher-level employees but it's been great for call center and customer service positions.

Pros:

We love Motivosity for the ease of peer-to-peer recognition and rewards. Our employees love that they can "gift" each other money for doing small things and our engagement within the platform has trended as high as 90%!

Cons:

We tried the coaching piece and it didn't work well for us. We aren't really a "sit behind a computer and coach" company so it wasn't for us but I could see it working well for other companies.

5.0 7 months ago

Pros:

I love the platform and for the ability for my staff to have the autonomy to GIVE!!! I love the morale boost it’s given to my staff and the positivity it promotes!

Cons:

I wish I would get notified every time someone gave someone else a buck as the owner of the practice.

Creat a culture of thanksgiving

5.0 7 months ago

Pros:

Motivosity encourages all staff to verbally (and financially) express their gratitude and praise to one another. This platform helps to create a culture of appreciation and feedback.

Cons:

Some employees will not take it seriously and will give their money / points to the same staff each month.

Great reward system

5.0 7 months ago

Comments: I'm enjoying using the product myself by giving recognition and scrolling through the feed to see all the great things happening across the company. I love when people include images and GIFs in their recognitions.

Pros:

I like to see employees recognizing other employees at all levels. We also have created badges to award to employees for a number of accomplishments, even for completing certain training courses and earning designations.

Cons:

For a larger company, the amount of dollars that can be allocated to each employee may be restrictive. This has the potential to lead employees to not send out more appreciations than they have dollars to spend; however, training and communication can help the employee base understand that they can shout someone out without giving a dollar.

Motivosity Response

What a good problem to have though... Employees willingly dipping into their spending balances to continue recognizing their peers. At the core Motivosity is a recognition software that promotes unity, connection, and positivity through gratitude. Thanks for sharing!

Motivosity Delivers

4.0 7 months ago

Comments: Has been great, I find myself using it during 1:1s and to recognize my team.

Pros:

The award option. Makes it easy to ensure people who should be recognized are for their hard work.

Cons:

The system for goals is very basic to the point that it doesn't make sense to even use. Example: You can only select goals by percentage complete as opposed to quota attainment or other options.

Motivosity for employees

5.0 7 months ago

Comments: Our employees use the peer-to-peer and the manager-to-peer recognition daily to call out the great things their teams are doing. We also use it for awards for wellness challenges and various competitions we do to promote employee engagement. It is easy to use and the support I've received when we've had issues has been very quick.

Pros:

Love the peer-to-peer recognition. Our employees use it daily!

Cons:

Cost - all the features are great so the only thing I can think for improvement would be to lower the cost.

Great program!

4.0 9 months ago

Comments: I love being able to acknowledge all employees within the company, whether it's by giving them a verbal kudo for all other employees to see and/or by giving them a little spiff bonus to show that we appreciate their efforts!

Pros:

I love the peer-to-peer acknowledgement and it allows upper management to be able to give kudos to those they may not see on a regular basis!

Cons:

I can't say that I've experience any negative situations from using Motivosity!

Motivosity has been a great recognition tool!

5.0 7 months ago

Pros:

It is a super easy way to recognize people within the organization. It allows for recognition from peers which is awesome. Everyone loves to get money so we have had great success with it!

Cons:

I wish there was more ways to make it a little more customizable to my organization. For example, able to add in more forms that fit what I am needing or more boxes that ask specific questions I am needing when goals are being set or managers are conducting reviews.

Great tool for implementing employee recognition and rewards!

5.0 7 months ago

Comments: Overall experience has been quite simple and fun to set up and use. Feedback and utilization by employees has been outstanding.

Pros:

The ease of use was outstanding for end users and administrators.

Cons:

Could use better functionality on posting multiple photos as Highlights, sometimes it is unclear when you can scroll drop down menus.

Great tool for peer and manager feedback

5.0 7 months ago

Pros:

Simple UI. Integrates with Slack and other communication tools. Tie to monetary reward increases engagement with the tool, encourages participation and sharing of feedback. Areas of interest is fun for the team. Reports are useful.

Cons:

The budget tracking is bit confusing, but is manageable with our small team. The org chart function is laid out horizontally vs the more common vertical format, which is annoying but still functional.

My Review of Motivosity

5.0 7 months ago

Pros:

I like that Motivosity is akin to a social media platform for our remote workers where we can build a network and share not only work achievements, but also life achievements. Also, the rewards center is great and flexible.

Cons:

I do not like the lack of some features that would make administration a bit easier, but for the most part it has everything I could want.

Review of Motivosity

4.0 9 months ago

Pros:

For users it's user friendly and easy to navigate

Cons:

For admins its not as intuitive. I have had to use the help center a lot to figure out how to use the platform. I'm sure the support people are short staffed, but anytime I have had to reach out, the response time is slow. I try my best to just figure out my issue on my own as opposed to reaching out for help.

Easy to use, great for a small company

5.0 7 months ago

Peer to Peer Kudos Rock!

5.0 last year

Comments: Really good - I like this product. I feel it satisfies one part of our cultural recognition effort. Our employees appreciate Motivosity, too. I highly recommend Motivosity to other organizations.

Pros:

We love the ease of using Motivosity bucks to recognize effort and encourage coworkers. The Thanks Matters debit card makes it super easy for our employees to utilize their bucks.

Cons:

I had one service issue that took several weeks to resolve. But, that is just one time in many years of using their service.
