About Lucidchart
The intelligent diagramming application that empowers teams to clarify complexity, align their insights, and build the future.
Being cloud based give lucidchart a leg up on some of the other diagramming programs i've previously used. It integrates easily with confluence which is important for my documentation.
The Lucidchart layout feels a bit dated, like something a decade or two behind times. However, being this is the most frustrating thing about the software, I'll take it.

A dream compared to Visio
Comments: Lucid has been a pleasure to work with, they incorporate the latest features and are constantly improving the product. They also provide excellent support with great resources and excellent training for the products.
Pros:
I like the ease of building flows and drawings. All the tools are readily available and visible and intuitive to work. I especially love the templates and the breadth of areas they cover.
Cons:
It takes users a little bit of time to become proficient with the interface as most are coming from tools like Power Point and are not used to moving the canvas along with moving objects. Once this is overcome the tool is a breeze to use.
Alternatives Considered: Visio
Switched From: Visio
Reasons for Switching to Lucidchart: Visio provided more features at a similar or lower price point than licensing Visio Professional

Lucidchart review
Pros:
Lucidchart enables me to swiftly and effortlessly generate workflow and hierarchical visualizations, which I can seamlessly incorporate into documents and presentations.
Cons:
I would appreciate a wider range of pre-made templates better suited to my needs.
Happy for the free trial but cannot use ongoing
Comments: Not worth it in our business model to use/expand to the paid version. Others may find it more useful and can justify the cost.
Pros:
I appreciated the free trial to test out the product for creating a Sales Journey/Customer Experience Map. I love the idea and being able to create mind map and sales journey to create visuals for the team and management.
Cons:
The free portion of the program was difficult to customize for our situation. Couldn't justify the price to continue to use it.

Excellent app for flowcharts and collaborative teams
Comments: Lucidchart is amazing for creating high-quality, visually appealing charts and diagrams. Although its primary function is in flowcharts, its versatility is immense. It's easy to use, and we appreciate how well it works with Confluence.
Pros:
Lucidchart is my go-to software for making system diagrams, modeling data, and analyzing and bettering business processes. It works wonderfully for each of these purposes. Using Lucid is a breeze because of its drag-and-drop interface.
Cons:
The functionality of Lucidchart are behind those of some installed alternatives because it is a web-based tool. I also find it frustrating that there appears to be no method to attach a connector to a form in such a way that the connector would automatically re-orient itself when I re-position the shape, as is often the case when trying to optimize a procedure.
Agibank
Pros:
collaborative work, Software diagram, Workflow, integration with atlassian confluence
Cons:
project management diagram tool is not flexible enough
Amazing diagramming software
Pros:
LucidChart is one of the most popular online diagramming tool which is easy-to-use, and comes with plenty of features. It has great collaborative options, templates for quick and easy diagrams, and smooth UI. It provides a lot of shapes, and building blocks for different kinds of diagrams and supports almost every kinds of diagrams you can imagine.
Cons:
LucidChart is amazing, but it comes with a subscription price of around 10$ a month. There is no standalone desktop application for LucidChart, and you have to use it through a browser. The mobile application works very smoothly, but it cannot be accessed in offline mode.

Lucidchart is with us
Comments: We use for software teams about describe with diagrams data structure, flowchart anche free schema. And we can work together with focus and speed
Pros:
Function of import is very very rich from picture and text to, SQL, scv, and other
Cons:
Sometimes you loose the way because so much feature
Useful tool for visualising architecture
Pros:
Easy to building a diagram of a system and quickly collaborate
Cons:
There’s so many options for building in it, can be overwhelming

Lucidchart: Great for making charts and other visualizations
Comments: Overall, Lucidchart is a great resource. I think it would be especially valuable in an educational setting. This seems like a great tool for students.
Pros:
Lucidchart makes creating simple charts fast and easy. I often use it to create quick charts in meetings to explain my ideas.
Cons:
I would like to see more complex features. I think that there are other more advanced tools that I'd like to see, but for a less complicated uses, Lucidchart covers everything you'd expect.
Visio made it to the cloud and being collaborative
Comments: The tool provides seamless cooperation on process drawings/diagrams and makes it very easy to build it together. I like the possibility to indicate the status of the drawing, despite it being cloud one. I like the "Visio-like" experience as I'm the old guard. The overall experience is not bad as such, but it is hard to navigate sometimes with all those templates popping up on a landing page. UI is very clean when it comes to the drawing/designing part. Also usage of those templates is not always straightforward, especially those with underlying data. However, I would not recommend it for any wireframes and such, there are better tools for that.
Pros:
I love, the cooperation portion of it. That I do not have to send out ppts or something, but rather collaborate on stuff in the tool and get the best result because of that. It saves so much time.
Cons:
The welcome page is very crowded, There are all these templates popping up. I'm storing all direct links to my drawings, because I find it very hard to find them otherwise. Also I do not like, that I can get to the list of my drawings from a different page, then the drawing one.
A nice platform to use for your wireframe, mockup tasks
Comments: This is on of the good tool to use for all your wireframe, mockup works. I still use this for my simple tasks for workflow, process and wireframe works. Some of the features are not available since it requires a paid subscription. The platform is getting revised with lot of new and useful features and I hope it's going to be a best one. May be one day this can be an alternative for Photoshop ;-)
Pros:
It's a cloud based software and quick to access. We can access it via our gmail id as SOS login. When it comes to feature, there are some great options which I like most. Like the layer option is a pretty good feature and it reminds me the Photoshop software. Though it's not a sophisticated feature but a nice one to have for this kind of software. The other thing is Lucidaspark, its looks more classic and spacious. The drag and drop option, multiple export file options are the few best features to name.
Cons:
I can't arrange the layer as a whole. It always allow me to arrange the elements within the layer and not the layers itself. For ex., I have 3 layers where one of the layer is a background image which I want to push behind the 2 other layers which is not possible if I create the background layer last. This is something frustrating for me to fix.
Alternatives Considered: MindMup
Reasons for Choosing Lucidchart: It was not comfortable to use at that time. So we started looking for some alternative and found Lucidchart
Switched From: Gliffy
Reasons for Switching to Lucidchart: It's more comfortable to use and its a cloud platform. Initially we are able to use most of the features for free. So, we choosed Lucidchart
Easy to use charting software with a wide range of advanced features
Comments: I was able to create flowcharts for marketing processes and export them to PDF for sharing with my client with a minimum of fuss. The outlay is small compared to a fully-fledged application like Microsoft Visio, even though it seems to have a similarly large feature set.
Pros:
It was very easy to get up and running with Lucidchart - the enormous collection of starter templates meant that I was able to find a similar chart to the one I needed to create and get the right objects loaded up straight away. The interface is very similar to a desktop application, despite the fact that it's running in a browser - it even has keyboard shortcuts. There are tons of features and integrations that I never even got around to using, as my charting requirements were quite simple.
Cons:
The sheer range of features available in the software was a little daunting at first. A simpler interface for people who only need a subset of features might be a helpful addition.
Alternatives Considered: SmartDraw
Reasons for Choosing Lucidchart: I didn't want to invest in a new licence of Visio, and found that Lucidchart had all the features I needed for a much smaller financial commitment.
Switched From: Visio
Reasons for Switching to Lucidchart: The lower cost was the initial reason, but after using Lucidchart for a while, I believe it offers a better user experience.
Quick and easy diagrams for more efficient work thanks to LucidChart
Comments: Even though I didn't work with this tool very long, I liked the ease with which I can create diagrams and share them with other members of my IT software management team. As well as the ability to collaborate in real time with them and the built in templates and shapes which were very helpful and saved us a lot of time creating diagrams. In summary, I think LucidChart is a valuable tool for any IT team that needs to create and share diagrams quickly and efficiently, and I would use it again without hesitation.
Pros:
Throughout the time that I have worked with this tool, I must emphasize that it is an intuitive and easy-to-use tool, it gives you the facility to create an infinite number of diagrams in a matter of minutes. However, what I liked the most about working with this tool was the ease with which I was able to integrate it with other tools that I used while making diagrams in it, such as: GoogleDrive and Slack.
Cons:
The only negative point that I must highlight about this tool is that it has certain functions that some new users (like me when I started) are not completely clear about and the possibility of taking full advantage of this tool may be lost.
Alternatives Considered: OrthoChart
Reasons for Switching to Lucidchart: I simply used this tool above all other options out there, because it's a tool I still use in college when it comes to Data Analysis and working with databases in general. So using it is already something that is very easy for me and meets the requirements I need.

Easy to use and powerful diagramming tool.
Comments:
Lucidchart is my goto for complex network diagrams, system workflow diagrams, process workflows, data flow diagrams, API call flow sequence diagrams, system component diagrams.
I have used it for years and don't see any reason to switch to another product.
I would highly recommend this product.
Pros:
1) Super easy to get started with simple registration options. 2) Very flexible sharing and collaboration options. 3) Multi-edit a document in real time with other users. 4) Easily lock down access to documents. 5) Many predefined industry standard documents to start from 6) Large list of export diagram export options. Examples, PDF, PNG...
Cons:
1) At times the shape locator tool on the left hand side can be confusing depending on the document type you are working on, for example if you are working on a DFD diagram, the shapes directly related to the diagram should always be visible first after which other shape groups should be searchable.
Alternatives Considered: Visio
Reasons for Choosing Lucidchart: Software license requirement of Visio. Limited collaboration options.
Switched From: Visio

Great Software for Marketing and Development Teams
Comments: I have been very pleased with Lucid chart and have brought it with me in the last 3 jobs I have been at. Its always on the top priority of my software list.
Pros:
This allows use to easily share and visualize workflows, wireframes, and user stories with all the team members involved in a project.
Cons:
I haven't really found anything I don't like about LucidChart I have been very happy with it.
My Review after using Lucidchart.
Comments:
I'm an Engineering Graduate Student. This is my Review after using Lucidchart for a Month. I'll be giving review about the product after use in a class project. Some problems are complex enough that you may not know how to ask the right question. That's where Web Apps come in. With a few clicks, these form based course assistants solve many types of problems which are commonly encountered in your classes, no questions asked. Create engaging lectures and materials by uploading your own real world data, or draw on thousands of data sets already available in Lucidchart. Tailor the look of your results with customiszble visualizations.
The color, style, and elements of generated charts and plots can be customized and downloaded. And export results in 60+ file types. You can download results in various formats like XLS, PDF etc. There's so much you can do. They are always adding more content and more features to help you create the best classroom experience possible. So, that's good that it gets regular updates.
Pros:
HUNDREDS OF TEMPLATES & EXAMPLES: - Flowcharts - UML - ERD - Wireframing / iOS Mockups - Network Diagrams - Org Charts - Mind Maps - BPMN POWERFUL & EASY TO USE: - Hundreds of shapes with easy drag and drop functionality - Export to PDF, PNG, JPG and Microsoft Visio (.vdx) - Integrations with Google Drive, Confluence, JIRA, and Jive at no additional cost - Dedicated support team to address your questions BUILT FOR COLLABORATION: - Real time collaboration - Unlimited number of simultaneous collaborators - Powerful version control and revision history - Group chat and comments - Embed diagrams in blogs, wikis or websites SECURE & RELIABLE: - All data transferred using SSL with AES-256 bit encryption - Hourly backups stored across multiple data centers - 99.9% uptime SLA for enterprise customers - Admin-specified password strength and reset frequency requirements ROBUST FOR ADMINS: - Upgrade other users to administrators to help manage users - Set whether new users automatically join the team or require an invitation - Control which domains your team can collaborate with outside your company.
Cons:
I found customers (who already use LucidChart) sometimes shared their diagrams with just the employee needing it "right then". However if someone else needed to work on it they didn't have access, and usually didn't have the rights to be able to share it with other people in our company. I wish when customers shared it with someone in our team that it was automatically shared with everyone in the team. This was such a big issue for us we ended up canceling out company subscription and converting it to a single user subscription forcing everyone to log in using the same account. Issue resolved with customers sharing with us.

Agrxis Review on Lucidchart
Comments: My overall experience with Lucidchart has been excellent. I now work with my team and generate diagrams in a completely new style as a result. Designing diagrams, flowcharts, and mind maps with a polished appearance is surprisingly simple because to the user-friendly interface and wide selection of shapes and icons. It has been a game-changer for me to be able to collaborate in real-time with clients and coworkers, even when we are separated by distance. My productivity has been further increased by the integration with other well-known programs like Google Drive and Microsoft Office. My work has benefited greatly from Lucidchart's ability to share and export diagrams in a variety of formats. The customer service staff has also been outstanding, swiftly resolving any queries or problems I had.
Pros:
I am absolutely thrilled with Lucidchart and all that it has to offer. As someone who values visual communication and effective collaboration, Lucidchart has become an indispensable tool in my professional toolkit. What I love most about Lucidchart is its intuitive and user-friendly interface. Creating diagrams, flowcharts, and mind maps has never been easier. The drag-and-drop functionality allows me to effortlessly design and organize my ideas, resulting in visually appealing and easy-to-understand visuals. The collaboration features of Lucidchart are also top-notch. I can invite team members to collaborate in real-time, making it seamless to work together, share feedback, and iterate on our diagrams. Moreover, Lucidchart integrates smoothly with other popular productivity tools, enabling me to embed my diagrams in documents, presentations, and even websites. The extensive library of templates and shapes provided by Lucidchart saves me valuable time and inspires creativity, allowing me to create professional-looking diagrams in no time. The customer support offered by Lucidchart is exceptional, always ready to assist and provide timely solutions to any queries or issues. Overall, Lucidchart has revolutionized the way I communicate complex ideas and collaborate with my team. It is a game-changer in visualizing concepts and fostering effective teamwork. I highly recommend Lucidchart to anyone looking for a powerful and user-friendly diagramming tool.
Cons:
Despite the fact that I had a great time using Lucidchart for my diagramming and visual communication needs, there were a few areas where I felt it might be improved. The restricted number of templates offered in the free version was one aspect that stuck out. Despite the fact that the given templates were of a good caliber, I hoped there were more options available, particularly for particular industries or use cases.

Excellent Tool
Comments: Overall, Lucidchart is an excellent tool that helps me quickly organize and share my ideas.
Pros:
It's easy to use and provides a variety of templates that make it easy to get started quickly. I also like that I can collaborate with others in real time, so I can get feedback on my ideas quickly. The ability to export images and documents in various formats is great too, as it allows me to integrate the visuals into other projects.
Cons:
Although I am not satisfied with Lucidchart's limited color choices, lack of certain shapes and templates, and its slow loading times, I still believe it is a great tool for making visual depictions of concepts.

How to easily create huge diagrams
Comments: Since I am using Lucidchart I have used it for many tasks, but specially for flow diagrams. I love all the shapes that have, which make easy to understand the diagram because each has a meaning. I've created huge diagrams that I wouldn't be able to create them without Lucidchat because they were so big that it was impossible to read the content of the diagram, but Lucidchat allows sharing it with just a link and to explore all the diagram with the zoom tool.On the whole, I had a good experience using this software, it's simple but useful; you can create really simple diagrams or create big ones without high complexity. Personally, I would strongly recommend it.
Pros:
This software is simple to use, it has a similar interface to other well known software products of the Office package. This is an advantage because everyone can learn how to use it in a few minutes. It offers numerous shapes, arrows, and text. This great variety is extremely useful to design the diagrams because it makes easy to read them and to structure them. It's easy to paste each shape and connect each one with arrows, then you can also add colour to each shape. Diagrams are also dynamic, if shapes are connected in the right way, when one shape is moved, Lucidchart will find the way to keep it connected, by modifying the arrows position and shape.
Cons:
Lucidchart has not many cons, the main one is that the free version of the product has some limitations related to the size of the diagram and the way you can export it or share it. Without the premium version, making vast diagrams is not so easy because you are limited to a maximum number of shapes in each diagram, and you can't have more than 3 documents simultaneously.
Intuitive, precise, and Stylish!
Comments: We started using LucidChart after switching from another visual collaboration tool. The import process worked surprisingly well - way better than anyone on our team was expecting. Lucidchart itself is simple to use, easy to collaborate with coworkers, has a ton of built-in diagram components, and has a supportive community around it complete with webinars from highly entertaining and engaging presenters.
Pros:
As part of the software engineering discipline, Lucidchart gets the basics right, like UML, timing, and ERDs. From a process perspective, flowcharts are super simple. Auto-complete features will automatically label and style your flowcharts making them really impressive and easily shareable to coworkers.
Cons:
When diagrams get really large, the application tends to slow down. No integration with Office 365 docs for data linking as of this review, but it's coming soon. Integration with Azure DevOps is pretty weak, too.

With Lucidchart, we always go to the top of our game
Comments: Lucidchart is beneficial for anyone who needs a means to visually represent their work. Yes, it is intended to be helpful to any individual within any rank or position within a company. A sales representative can use the program to document the manner in which their work is developed in order to work with a potential customer from the internet to the time the contract is closed. A manager can use the program to devise the company's action plan for approval by the legislature. The sales operation suite is using Lucidchart to generate most of the training and enablement path, which communicates with the power groups, Sales, Marketing, Product and Customer Effectiveness. We have developed functional and institutional organization charts, process and flow diagrams, content and certification information to communicate our strategy in relation to our four sales enablement principles.
Pros:
It is very easy to generate a specific color program so that sketches can be customized very easily. The ability to send to computer, tablet and smart phones numerous image formats is particularly helpful. The ability to provide access to editors or just the ability to read is critical. Facilitates the creation of groups with various functions. Several templates with recommendations on how to use them make it very simple to get started. The templates offered by Lucidchart are ready to use, which makes it extremely simple to use. All the templates guide you on how to use it. The toolbar resembles a familiar Microsoft application and it is very easy to find what you want. Zero formal instructions are required.
Cons:
It would be helpful to be able to slow down the publication as needed and deliver versions, for everything else Lucidchart is excellent.
Helps understanding overall system flow and for presentations
Comments: I truly recommend Lucidchart to everyone. It helps students and as well as professional.
Pros:
I used Lucidchart for multiple purposes. Firstly, i used it during implementation of database schema designing. It provided me an overall picture and the conflict with the keys that may arrive. I also used to create data flow diagrams and use case diagram. This way i could understand the flow of a system from each layer to the other and i found this quite useful. Whenever there was an enhancement, i just used it to see the different perspective.
Cons:
There was nothing that i did not like about this software. I found it helpful with the variety of charts i could use.
LucidChart has great tutorials
Comments: Once I gave it a good chance and learnt to use it correctly it soon become something I use daily! The website tutorials are great and free. Also lucidspark is now included, it’s the same as Miro.
Pros:
It’s a game changer for sharing ideas. Workshopping with stakeholders and getting your thoughts onto a page. Check the tutorials and you’ll go from this is okay to this is awesome!
Cons:
Network dependant can cause issues. Sometimes the test doesn’t update fast and needs refreshing a lot. I had to spend a decent amount of time to learn tricks to make using lucid enjoyable to use.

Enhances Innovation and Collaboration.
Pros:
I like the templates and broad set of icon and object packs. Lucid has just about every feature I've wanted from it's competitors that I've used and more.
Cons:
I have run into some snapping issues. It may sound small, but the inability to snap lines and different pre-set points on an object is frustrating sometimes.
