"TrustBooks"
Comments: TrustBooks has been good to use from day one. The set up was easy and the process understandable. The customer service has been excellent. I receive very fast and personal answers to any questions I ever have.
Pros: It is very easy to use and fits our needs perfectly for the NC State Bar requirements of accountability.
Cons: That we have to pay for each user instead of just the whole office, but that is pretty standard in the industry. We are a small office, but we can fit it into our budget.

"The Best Trust Accounting Software for Attorneys"
Comments: I did a lot of research before buying TrustBooks a few years ago, and I am glad that I found it.
Pros: The best feature of TrustBooks is that it performs the Three Way Reconciliation that is required every month in my jurisdiction. In addition, there is a place to certify or sign the completion of the monthly reconciliation, which is also required by the state bar rules. Since all of the financial data and monthly reconciliations are stored in the cloud, I don't have to worry about my law firm being destroyed by a fire, a flood, or a hurricane and the loss of all of the trust account information. It is easy to generate a check, and the software prevents you from accidently writing a check that brings the client balance below zero dollars.
Cons: TrustBooks can sync with Clio, but it does not sync with the case management software that I use in my practice. However, none of the other trust accounting software programs can sync with my case management software.

"Great software for busy attorneys!"
Comments: As I said above, the software is a huge time-saver and stress-saver. I know my trust accounting is done correctly and it's easy to print trust ledgers for clients each month. The customer service is also top-notch - if I have a question or a problem, it is quickly addressed and fixed. No complaints!
Pros: TrustBooks makes my trust accounting so easy. I can reconcile my accounts in just a few minutes, I know my trust accounts are always in balance and never overdrawn. Basically, it saves me from mistakes I might have made otherwise. Makes my life much easier to not have to worry about trust accounting errors!
Cons: The integration with Clio is a little clunky, but I haven't tried to use it recently so it may have been improved since it was first released.

"Great tool for keeping tidy, well-reconciled accounts"
Pros: The onboarding process was simple and straightforward. The program automates important record-keeping and reconciliation tasks that are important to complete regularly.
Cons: The price is a bit high (or, will be, after my free trial) in light of the ultra-low volume of transactions I handle. It would be reasonably priced and quite helpful for a moderate- to high-volume firm.

Pros: They do everything that the State Bar requires, and it is so easy. You cannot make Quickbooks do what this does.
Cons: It is easy. So easy that there may be cons but I haven't found them.

Comments: the software is a pleasure to use without the usual glitches.
Pros: It was very easy to learn. The software has very easy to follow instructions. Type in an issue and up pops a tutorial explaining how you get to that step. Printed out the tutorials as needed and now have my own reference manual.
Cons: Listening to my wife when she was having trouble reconciling her checkbook

"Great Product!"
Pros: This software is extremely user-friendly, and has been able to meet and/or exceed every need of our firm.
Cons: There are a few minor tweaks that I would like to see, mainly just with the defaults that are in place. For example, we have multiple trust accounts, and when I go to view the various matters that we have within all of those accounts, it automatically defaults to an account that is not used as regularly as some of the other ones.

"I was drowning without TrustBooks. This is a must-have for lawyers!"
Comments: I listened to the Coffee with LawPay segment with TrustBooks and I immediately emailed one of the [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] to get set up. I was struggling to keep up with balancing my trust accounts and knew I needed help. I was sold within the first 10 minutes of the demo. The product is solid and the price point is worth every penny.
Pros: The interface and ease of use of TrustBooks makes it simple and comfortable to use. Also, the customer service is AMAZING! They follow-up and reach out like mind readers.
Cons: It was difficult at first to integrate my firm because I hosted multiple IOLTA accounts in multiple states. The software kept getting confused as to which went where when it was imported from Clio. I don't think this would happed if it was manual entry.

"An Efficient, Cost Effective Solution to Trust Accounting"
Comments: Our office is very pleased. Trust accounting using this program is one less thing to worry about, allowing us to focus on our practice rather than the administrative tasks.
Pros: TrustBooks has really streamlined our accounting process. What used to take hours a month now takes minutes. Reconciliations are now something to look forward to as it comes out perfect every time.
Cons: The only lacking feature was how to handle bounced deposit checks. We obviously did not want to delete the entry, but it has to be accounted for when a check we deposit fails to clear. The workaround was to create a fictitious payee called "bounced check".

"Essential for any firm that has IOLTA accounts"
Comments: We've been very happy with Trustbooks. It is easy to use and on the few occasions where we've had some issues (due to our errors), customer support has been available to quickly resolve the problems.
Pros: I love how easy it is to reconcile our IOLTA accounts and have accurate information about how much each of our clients has in their accounts. The integration feature with LawPay has also been very helpful in keeping track of incoming payments.
Cons: I haven't had any negative experiences with the software.

"Trust Accounting made EASY"
Comments: Exceptional... and if you ever have any problems, these guys are a phone call away!! Our office likes this product so much that we recently purchased a second version for our 2nd office in an additional county. You definitely get your money's worth with this product.
Pros: There are several things I LOVE about this program. 1). Ease of entering information; 2). Capability of writing one check to one payee for multiple clients (such as Clerk of Court for traffic costs); 3). Ease of printing checks from software with client identification at bottom; 4). Superb bank reconciliation detailed reports, including three-way reconciliation; 5). Ability to print of a client's ledger by itself; 6). Ability to "Archive" cases when closed, but not totally delete them, and 7). Best is the quarterly report that is done thru this software (the report required by NC State Bar)
Cons: I wish you could pull up a check by check number instead of client name.

"Excellent Trust Accounting Software"
Comments: I've been using the product for more than two years. Fantastic.
Pros: Trustbooks is the best solution I've found to ensure that my trust accounting is accurate, and remains in compliance with Bar rules. In the past, I've attempted to use Excel and Quickbooks. Excel is prone to all kinds of errors. Quickbooks is far too complicated for trust accounting, and that confusion can introduce errors. Trustbooks is developed by an accountant who specializes in legal accounting, and in ensuring that people comply with Bar rules. The software is specifically focused on helping you avoid errors that could then cause problems later on. While it can be used by accountants, it's so simple that lawyers or non-lawyer entrusted with trust accounting duties and who have no background in accounting are prevented from making mistakes.
Cons: Nothing. The software is great and news features are added periodically to improve its functionality.
