About SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
Shift the focus from supporting transactional HR processes to delivering experiences that serve employees first.
UI for time off management is pretty neat compared to other tools available in the market. Performance and goal Management and LKM modules are the most likable feature.
User interface is very old fashioned and navigation within program to find correct functions and features are really hard.

Successfactor Review
Comments: We are very happy with this suite and using it from last 2 years. Have done multiple integrations and customisation satisfactorily
Pros:
I like the complete end to end visibility of Employee details and canditates tracking with lots of workflows built into the system
Cons:
Cost is the major factor as it impacts on the decision making process
Works well with other SAP products
Pros:
Ease of looking at vacation details and requesting them. Also easy to keep track of compensation and your profile
Cons:
The direct deposit details update can be a bit easier to access and navigate
Not the best tool
Pros:
Implementation, many features, for big teams.
Cons:
It's complicated to use, not the best UI/UX.
One of the best HRM tool in the software market.
Comments: It has been an excellent experience using this software and highly recommend this for HR management.
Pros:
SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite simplifies the process of hire till retire, helps easily onboard the candidates, manage their profiles and then termination is done on the same tool.
Cons:
SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite needs certain improvements such as position based permissions, which is currently limited to role based permissions.
Alternatives Considered:
Maintain trainings and ensure qualified employees
Pros:
Tracking uneasy without using paper folders and signatures.
Cons:
I really do not have any cons. The software suits out needs.
Super Customizable but with a Catch
Comments: I supported SuccessFactors at a previous employer where we used most available features that SF has to offer extensively. The application itself could do anything/everything we needed it to, but most configuration changes had to be worked through a third party (SAP partner), which was always frustrating.
Pros:
SuccessFactors is extremely customizable, and it also has a ton of features (LMS, Employee management, Performance Reviews, Reporting/Analytics, etc.
Cons:
Enabling new modules/features or customizing anything that requires provisioning access will require you to work through a third party. This can be inconvenient and very pricey.
Valuable tool with continuous feedback being at the heart of it's many capabilities
Comments: Overall it's been a pleasurable experience and the SF Suite has added value to our organization.
Pros:
The most satisfying aspects of the Success Factors suite is the wide-range of capabilities, the focus on enhancing employee engagement, and the ability to provide and track continuous feedback across its talent management and performance evaluation functions.
Cons:
It's cumbersome to customize and deploy- many smaller organizations may need to hire an implementation partner as a result. Additionally, it's mobile version leaves a lot to be desired.
Sap success fator
Comments: My overall experience with SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite has been positive, particularly due to its comprehensive HR functionality and focus on employee experience.
Pros:
What I like most about SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite is its focus on employee experience, comprehensive HR capabilities covering the entire employee lifecycle, and strong analytics.
Cons:
What I like least about SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite is its complex setup and configuration process, which can be time-consuming.
Too Complicated if you do not need an Enterprise Solution
Pros:
It is a solid HCM System if you are a company with subsidiaries and need to connect them all and intend to utilize it as such.
Cons:
The system’s implementation, cost, and overall ease of use leave much to be desired, not to mention the customer service. The cost is particularly exorbitant, making it a poor choice unless you intend to use it as a comprehensive ERP system to connect subsidiaries. Its design is somewhat outdated, functioning more like a relationship database. Upgrades are a slow process, taking years to complete, while other HCM products are rapidly introducing new features to keep pace with technological advancements. Building out this system is a time-consuming process, and by the time it’s ready, newer options have already hit the market. It then takes additional years to integrate these new features. Considering the high implementation and ongoing costs, it would be more prudent to opt for other HCM systems. These alternatives offer similar modules that function effectively, but at a fraction of the cost.
Great organizational tool!
Comments: Our overall experience was great with HXM Suite!
Pros:
The software was great in helping us organize our data in one system.
Cons:
A little confusing at first, but support was great!
Easy to use ,clear ,transparent ,Reduced the documentary cycle
Comments: it is Easy to use ,clear ,transparent ,Reduced the documentary cycle
Pros:
It enables you to accomplish whatever you want from vacations, iyou can make evearything you need from comapnies colliges while you in place
Cons:
performers evaluation is complicated process and take long prosudres and not all labours can treat it so company cancel this process
Not Intuitive and Complicated for no reason
Comments: would not recommend to any person or business. not user friendly, not intuitive, and as previously mentioned I am constantly troubleshooting this software with my team and our administrator. on more than one occasion, people's time off has not accrued properly resulting in them either having a surplus or less vacation days than they're supposed to. any time i need to do anything in this software it is overly complicated. i miss our old vacation time software, and so does our team.
Pros:
I like that there is an app, however i've never used it and i'm not sure how many of our staff use it either.
Cons:
The main reason we use SF is time off requests/vacation management. After almost 2yrs of use, I still get emails from multiple team members that are struggling to: - see their total accrued vacation time - enter in their own vacation time (Aka they email asking me to do it for them) - cancel their own days off (they email me asking me to do it for them) - edit requests on their own (ex: changing from 3 days of vacation to 2 etc) without cancelling and re-entering the whole thing My biggest frustration with SF is that it doesn't show team members their total time off, it only shows what they've accrued as of the day they are looking at their profile. in order to see how many days they have left to book they have to adjust the calendar. I get the most emails about this issue, and my team struggles with this the most. You can't tell if a person has requested a 1/2 or full day w/o going "all the way" into the request - i should be able to look at either the homepage or Workflow Requests and tell if the person needs one day or just a 1/2. Instead you have to go into their profile, look at the request and THEN you can find out how much time they're requesting. I also get email notifs every time i cancel someone else's vacation time and yet they won't get an email. i've reached out to our system admin about this more than once and they can't seem to come up with a resolution. This software looks and feels old school - very windows 95.
Alternatives Considered:
A Leading and reasonably cost effective end to end HR system
Comments: Overall this system meets our expectations. The platform is fast and stable.
Pros:
An end to end system to handle recruitment, onboarding through to employee management, absence, performance and succession planning and offboarding is not easy to find at this price point. The Integration Centre which can export data for use in other systems is feature rich and very fast for extracting data.
Cons:
Reporting, and not unlike any cloud systems, isnt as strong as it could be. It is somewhat clunky and cumbersome to create reports. SAP Support, so far, is extremely poor.
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite in my life
Comments: Every week I issue notes with a repair nature and it is a very easy task to be performed by SAP. For 2 days a week I need to make inquiries of bank details from suppliers and change addresses and emails and it is also an easy activity whose platform facilitates reading and changing data.
Pros:
What I like most about this site is the speed of loading each function and page opened, in addition to supporting several open at the same time. But more important is the amount of functions available for use, such as inventory control, supplier search, payment collection, among others.
Cons:
Sometimes it's kind of hard to find a search function I need and I end up having to question my colleagues even though I've had access to the site for years.
Good Core HRIS - but nothing more than that
Comments: Poor to non existent customer service, with poor additional modules not worth using (much better to use best of breed tech and integrate it into SF via API or SFTP), but a decent Core HRIS for larger organisations.
Pros:
For a Core HRIS, it's a solid system. A little complicated in use, but nevertheless, core HRIS data is well structured and reportable.
Cons:
Additional modules are basic to poor in quality. Recruitment module is a 5/10 - does the very basic stuff, but that's it. Very reactive recruitment focus, relying on job board posts to fill jobs. Non existent functionality - in terms of them actually being useful - re talent pools, searching the database, integrating with other tech etc. I couldn't also recommend the Performance module - too complicated and not liked amongst users. Talent module not worth it at all. Etc etc.
User Experience on SAP HXM Suite
Pros:
The HXM suite covers all the features of payroll, HR, recruiting , training, onboarding within a company , Since it covers all the features which is necessary for a company to function , buying the suite makes sense.
Cons:
The user experience is not that great , to it comparison Workday is very smooth.
Horrible UX, hight cost and lacking features (Recruiting module)
Pros:
Nothing compared to modern ATS´s like Ponty, Workable, Teamtailor, GreenHouse etc. A nice "tell" is that during demo videos (created by actual fans/users on Youtube) the product lags and there is pauses every now and then since the pages have to load and you have to wait. Acceptable 10 years ago, not so much in 2018.
Cons:
- Crap UX: Means many clicks = drags down productivity - Setting up processes or adding a step is an actual project. Something that takes less then 2 minutes with any of the systems above - No data visualization (unless extra module is bought). Data is everything! And it´s a really unmodern and slow process to create specific reports (again, a project in itself), and then you get a report where have to take the data and maunally use your own tools to visualize your findings. - This is like a 15 years old recruitment system BUT it´s also expensive and you have to hire extra staff as trainers since the UX is so bad so this ads even more to the total cost. - No built in surveys. For instance if you want to check your candidate experience and such. The list goes on but you get the picture.
SuccessFactors has opportunities to improve
Comments: We had a poor experience with SuccessFactors. I had a similar experience in a past position. So, this poor experience was a repeat. Performance management module required more effort from administrators and managers to set up, write reviews, deliver to staff etc. Support really liked gamification and we didn't create enough about gamification. We cared about giving the right feedback to staff so they can grow and prosper. It appeared that SuccessFactors was competing with Facebook while we wanted it to compete with Gallup. Support and billing from their side needs to improve. When exiting SuccessFactors, we weren't treated well. SAP is in a great position to focus on changing people's emotions about SuccessFactors. I can totally see its potentials. SAP needs to take a different approach with the product and support.
Pros:
The best feature of SuccessFactors was that it was a operationally stable, cloud-native software when competitors were finding their footings with SaaS model and ensuring high availability. SuccessFactors had figured the technology out sooner than competition and our team didn't have to worry about hosting.
Cons:
Modules in SuccessFactors appeared to be scattered and cobbled together inefficiently. It appeared that employee data got copied over to payroll module. Performance data was copied from one year to another. It just seemed like a trailer/mobile home put piecemeal'ed together using plastic, wood, metal, soil and broken wheels from trucks and motorcycles were put underneath the trailer/mobile home, but the paint looked uniform and hid these inefficiencies. SAP has a great opportunity to turn this around since their foundational infrastructure is solid.
Complicated GUI Design
Comments: Success Factors Learning has a complicated graphical user interface and sometimes it's so hard to use. I couldn't find some options easily (especially when I try to filter some kind of trainings) and spends my time. It's design should be changed to make more eye-pleasing.
Pros:
ou can list and reach any kind of training & courses online. It's a good platform to find all kind of learning stuff in a hub
Cons:
Graphical user interface is so complicated. It's hard to use. It should be designed more user-friendly.

Take control of your payroll in an unbeatable order!
Pros:
You can keep detailed control of all your work payroll. Contracts, payroll, fiscal retractions as well as the progress of each employee within the company. Being able to have an exact report of all the employee's performance in the company, from training courses carried out to labor incidents. So far I have not seen a better tool to keep the work payroll in such a neat and efficient way.
Cons:
It is not as easy or simple to use as it seems. You have to do specialized courses to learn how to use it but without a doubt it's worth it! It is an excellent software.
Good functionality, challenging to implement
Comments: Overall, the SAP HCM software is great and is highly sophisticated when it comes to advanced reporting and metrics. The program, initially, is not the most user-friendly, however once users become proficient, it’s a highly advanced and multi-functional system which I would recommend.
Pros:
This software is highly functional from a HCM perspective and provides users with great analytics for the purpose of ongoing organizational metrics in the areas of recruitment, talent management, compensation.
Cons:
The implementation was challenging in that upgrades would be pushed through without notice and as a result, the system would not function as it had been programmed initially. Customer service was decent, but troubleshooting technical issues and identifying the system error sources was difficult.
Alternatives Considered:
SAP SuccessFactors - The HR Platform
Comments: SAP SuccessFactors was one stop solution for all the requirements related to HR.
Pros:
SAP SuccessFactors is a total one stop solution for almost all the HR functions such as Employee on-boarding, Performance Management, Payroll etc.
Cons:
As SAP SuccessFactors has a lot if functions and rolls, it is found little bit confusing to operate. If the main options made simplified, it will be great.

SAP? Nope?
Comments: The base its there, but unless you are running SAP everywhere it does not scale well.
Pros:
SAP is amazing in one thing, they have an incredible amount of software, I mean they build their entire enterprise on that! Success Factors is one of them, it is a HR management/training software. Many companies use it.
Cons:
However they are not very good at maintaining it. Success factors is prone to missing information, subpar support, and just straight up madness. I've had to handle tickets consecutively of missing information and just over all. It looks like a software out of 2003. It is simply garbage. It will not sync well with systems. My god its horrible. Please stay away
Decent but outdated compare to others
Pros:
The software integrated with other SAP tools which provide more choices for HR professionals to have everything in one go. It is also customizable depending on your organisation process/requirements.
Cons:
As it involves several different software it can be bit unstable at times specially during upgrades period
