It makes any contact with our clients quick and easy. Clients are also able to see their pet's records and lab work in the app which is not a feature we've had before.

Cons:

There is no way to to send a mass text to clients. The appointment requests do not correspond with what appointments slots are taken.

You get a partner with Vitus Vet

Comments: The main draw for me is the customer support-- we have the BEST account manager (shout out to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]!). He is always available and will readily bend over backwards if there's something he can do to help. He makes a point to reach out and check in. He is ALWAYS considerate of my time, which is SO appreciated.

Pros:

Vitus Vet is very user friendly. We especially love the 2-way connect (texting platform), as it integrates with our practice management software. I had to send out a lot of email "blasts" during the initial days of the pandemic, as we updated our protocols and what not... super easy to make nice looking emails for mass communications as well.

Cons:

On the app side of things, they used to have capability for clients to be able to pull up x-rays which was very cool but I'm sure REALLY bogged down the system and slowed things down. I really don't have any complaints. Vitus Vet is innovative and always coming up with new things... I really like that they ask for our input as well, when making these improvements.

Comments: I have always had excellent support from Vitus Vet in the event that I have ever needed help. They are very on top of it and have easy to follow instructions for changes that need to be made.

Pros:

I love the two way text option. This is a great tool to help us communicate with our clients. We've always had great success with our Request An Appointment feature as well.

Cons:

The campaigns are a bit difficult to use/create. I think there could be better ways to help this be a smoother, more user friendly process

Comments: Overall experience has been good and customer service is always very responsive.

Pros:

The customer service representative, Leslie, is always helpful. Also, very responsive. The website is also easy to use

Cons:

"We found that the appointment request and medication request options were making our workflow more difficult, so we decided to turn them off. Instead, we partnered with a different company for online scheduling and texting. While I wish we could take advantage of all that Vitus Vet has to offer, there are other companies with better options.

Pros:

Simple! Exactly what we need but not a bunch of unnecessary (confusing) bells & whistles. Love that there's an app!

We love VitusVet!

Comments: We are so impressed with the customer service and program. It has really helped us get medication sales back to us.

Pros:

We switched to Vitusvet for the prescription ordering module and love it. I also like that appointments are by request and not actually made by the client. The payment portal is excellent too. Customer service is great. Overall, very happy.

Cons:

The email blasts and communications come from support, not our website. We are finding a high volume of communications going to spam that wasn't happening from our email. Medication can't be under $1. That does get complicated when dispensing medication under $ per pill.

Comments: We are happy with the app, only factors that I find frustrating are listed in cons section

Pros:

The texting feature is very helpful- I also appreciate the appointment reminders / confirmation

Cons:

That I am unable to change certain features without working with customer service : For example, on the app clients can request same day appointment, which most of the time is unlikely- it would be nice to only offer appointments so many weeks in advance

Vitus Vet / VetShipRX is THE BEST!

Pros:

Vitus Vet is a wonderful tool for our practice. Not only does it help our clients easily schedule appointments but it also helps them manage, request, refill, and pay for their pets medications. Their support staff...unmatched. I have never had to wait longer than an hour to hear back from a member of the support staff and they always help us resolve any issues we may have.

Cons:

I have no issues with Vitus Vet and would likely recommend it to anyone who asks about it.

Comments: I love VitusVet and it is one of the best decisions I made for our clinic.

Pros:

Their customer service is AMAZING.. I give it 10 stars. I also love the entire customer engagement platform as it has made it easier and streamlined our work flow and customer communication.

Cons:

I wish there was the capability of when using the appointment requests that it would recognize only the open appointment slots and not all of them during the day.

Comments: VitusVet is great but it has been surpassed by its' competitors. Would be best for a small practice. We love it and have used it for years but will likely be switching to a more intuitive program in the near future.

Pros:

Simple format, easy to learn and use. Very straightforward. Customer service is quick and very helpful.

Cons:

The appointment requests. They never line up with actual appt slots and there is no customization that will allow for that.

Comments: VitusVet's customer support is top-notch. They respond incredibly quickly and I like that I usually get the same one or two people.

Pros:

The ability to take payments over text and email is really helpful. VitusVet is also the only platform that allows the ability to share medical records (not just vaccine hx) with clients -- this sets them apart from other options and clients absolutely love this feature.

Cons:

Integration into PIMS for payments wasn't available before, but now it is!

Comments: They are exceptionally helpful, get you up and running quickly, and I see the results. Their solutions are so helpful and fill needs within every practice.

Pros:

Every time I have implemented VitusVet at a practice (over 20 and counting) I have seen an almost immediate increase in appointment requests and prescription requests. It is so easy to implement and they help you every step of the way. The other features such as two-way texting, text to pay, and door dash prescriptions are helpful in every practice.

Cons:

I have no complaints. All of their solutions are so helpful!

Love VitusVet

Comments: We have been pleased with VitusVet as a company and with their software. Their staff is always responsive and helpful. The expansion of services they offered throughout the past few years, have made our job a little easier. Our clients enjoy being able to text us and receiving pictures from us of their pets post-surgery.

Pros:

I have been with VitusVet for a few years. What I like about the software is the easy of use for my staff. When I initially signed on with them, I was impressed with ways they were looking to expand services to better assist the veterinary clinics.

Cons:

Integration into practice management software could be better but the solution VitusVet has works well

Comments: I have had a great experience with Vitus Vet. I was previously using Vetscene and their texting feature was not great. We did not get notified when a client wrote to us. It was really important that when switching over there was a way we would get notified when a text came through and Vitus Vet assured me there was. It has been working out great, there is a pop up at the bottom right hand that tells you who is messaging and what is is regarding. Every time I need customer service they respond quickly and are really helpful.

Pros:

The texting feature is what I liked the most about this software. I love how easy it is to use and you can copy the messages and import or paste them into patient files. The other feature I like is the campaign. You can send a mass email to clients.

Cons:

There is no way to to send a mass text to clients. The appointment requests do not correspond with what appointments slots are taken.

Comments: Overall, I'm sad we didn't partner with VitusVet sooner. It has eased the workload and phone calls a ton, allowing for more things to get done in the hospital over on the phone.

Pros:

The texting ability is absolutely amazing! While doing everything curbside, we've utilized the texting more than we thought we ever would! Appointment and med requests are easy to read and follow up on, the UI is fantastic.

Cons:

The only thing I can say that is a legitimate con to Vitus Vet is that I can't go back to "archived" appointment requests.

Comments: Vitus vet support has always been prompt and kind. The company always takes what we have to say into consideration and is always making improvements where necessary.

Pros:

Ease of client communication and how it copies directly to the patient record.

Cons:

Creating email and text campaigns is very clunky and the save/draft process makes it take longer than it should. I would like to see this improve.

VitusVet - A Good Choice for Client Communication

Comments: I am sad that Vitusvet dropped the upload of x-ray images for the clients to view on their phone.

Pros:

I am an "older" generation, but always try to keep up. I have come to realize that 50% of clients do not read my emails or listen to my phone messages I leave when I want to communicate with them regarding diagnostics results about their pet. However, they respond within minutes if I text them. This is the world today.

Cons:

What I disliked the most initially is that the Android phone was not equally supported like the iPhone, but this has greatly improved.

Vitus Vet App

Comments: I am an original user of the system and have about 600 clients using the system.

Pros:

The ease of use, client satisfaction, reminder system and response rate and the new 2 way texting that integrates into the communication section of the client record.

Cons:

At this time I do not find any cons with the system. the company responds to my requests and questions fast and has resolved problems quickly.

What I like about VV

Comments: We hope to streamline our payment system to allow payment via text and email which will cut down on phone calls and CCS time on the phone. The app helps clients have their pets medical info with them at all times which is especially useful if they are at the ER and we are closed. The refills via VV also help with the phone calls for both CCS and technicians filling them.

Pros:

The dashboard is easy to navigate and has all of the information you need.

Cons:

I am sure I will have more feedback once we start using Vitus Pay and Connect. So far so good!

Comments: The setup went flawlessly but support afterwards was not good. We still use it but I don’t have a super strong tie if something better came at better price

Pros:

We use Vitus for our prescription requests, payments, reminders and texting and love the functionality

Cons:

The support is definitely not where it should be. You have to email and wait, sometimes days for a response. It would be nice to have more local control of features
