Simply idiot proof and ready to deploy without too much hassle
Comments: We are very pleased with simplicity of it. We rarely spend time training as most users simply "get it". Its simple and fast out-of-the-box solution . We now have 4 accounts running this software
Pros:
I can create an event in 10 minutes , have the webpage out and create collateral. I can update anything all the way to the delegate app onsite in a few simple steps. We moved a few hundred members into the cloud which was relatively simple, and memebrs love the ease with the member app and the profile. Payment option are localized based on country I can assign navigation languages etc. I can assign a client to administer a section of the membership or a specific event.
Cons:
Multi currency management is not very friendly. During setup. I cannot correct some historical items Some limitations with regards to registration setup for multiple events segments such as dinners post tours that needs to be overcome
Alternatives Considered: Cvent Event Management
Reasons for Choosing Glue Up: cost, localisation (get away from US templates)
Reasons for Switching to Glue Up: cost, customer service, localized interface, simplicity
GlueUp for NGOs
Pros:
Dealing with database management and marketing automation as part of my oversight, GlueUp serves its purpose and offers a more comprehensive and sophisticated features as compared to other CRM softwar however this may still be improved. GlueUp management is very much open to working with its clients to improve the overall system. GlueUp is the only CRM I know with events and membership management at one.
Cons:
The pricing might be a bit steep for some companies/NGOs. The marketing automation may still be improved like providing a more customizable feature. For database management, GlueUp must devise a function where it will notify the administrator/user of the duplicated email addresses.
Alternatives Considered: Act!
Reasons for Choosing Glue Up: GlueUp combines membership and events management which is vital to our operations.
Glue Up is the CRM your organizations needs!
Comments: Overall, the experience with Glue Up has been wonderful. The customer service is excellent and the Glue Up team is continuously evaluating and implementing ways to improve the platform. Glue Up holds quarterly webinars to update their customers on everything they are doing while allowing them to ask questions directly to the CEO, which is a nice touch. Glue Up also has tons of resources and training videos/webinars to help members of your organization get equipped with using the platform.
Pros:
Glue Up is a great solution for connecting your database with your various forms of electronic communications as well as your website. It's an awesome CRM platform for membership-based organizations!
Cons:
While it's great that Glue Up is designed to be an all-in-one platform, there are limitations to things like website and email design, along with setting up events with landing pages. It gives you the basics, but it would be nice if Glue Up could match some of the customization and creative options that other platforms can.
Alternatives Considered: WildApricot
Reasons for Switching to Glue Up: Glue Up appeared to offer more options and be the most innovative as a CRM. Their pricing is also very fair for the products that they offer.
Privacy issues, Failed delivery and refusal to refund any of our US$34,105 - stealing from a Charity
Comments:
The delays and issues piled up to the point that we had to delay our entire project by nearly a month, incurring additional costs from our website developers due to the work required to meet the Glue Up integration requirements, and then be again changes once realised that the Glue Up product was not what was originally discussed as most compatible for our user needs and membership base.
We requested to exit from our agreement, and only then were we finally contacted by Glue Up representatives from Mainland USA. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] immediately identified that the team they had us assigned to were not capable fo the task "and should never have been assigned our account". We discussed and sought to rectify the issues with further conversations, however the damage to the trust of my staff and the realised differences in discussions from sale to execution we too great, so we continued to request to exit from our agreement with the 30 days period as required.
Since this time, [SENSITIVE CONTENT] have rarely returned email let alone avoided our meeting calls. They have refused to refund any of our money, despite agreeing that there was at least US$20,000 of what we paid for not yet incurred or consumed by Glue Up in the process to date. They offered to provide a US$20,000 "Credit" to our organisation, refusing to any actual refund of our money paid up front. We are now literally held hostage, with no more replies, and no refund still. This is the way they deal with a Charity...
Pros:
The promises made in the sales process - that were not followed through with in the delivery, or terrible customer service. Let alone the privacy concerns and now refusal to refund for services not embarked upon or delivered. Absolutely disgusted and disappointed in this unethical and unprofessional conduct. We would never recommend Glue Up based on our experiences over these last 3 months still without resolution and now theft of our charity funds.
Cons:
We are an Australian Veteran Health & Welfare support Charity. From the outset, myself & my team engaged in a very competent & supportive sales process with a representative located in Bali. We were required to pay US$34,105,000 up front prior to then being turned over to a team based in mainland China. From there we encountered a continuous stream of issues including language barriers, incomplete tasks requiring constant email chains to follow up verbal conversations that appeared to expire on completion of calls. We additionally had very real privacy concerns given we requested and were sold on a product that would be responsible for supporting our membership base of over 30,000 Australian Veterans. The delays & issues piled up to the point that we had to delay our entire project by nearly a month, incurring additional costs from our website developers due to the work required to meet the Glue Up integration requirements, and then be again changes once realised that the Glue Up product was not what was originally discussed as most compatible for our user needs and membership base.
Many features and each day increasing more
Pros:
After sales and platform availability. Very complete platform and features that help an organization a lot in its day-to-day work. Ease of use and implementation. Customer support.
Cons:
Nothing! Excellent platform and service!
Alternatives Considered: Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, Ploomes, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Zendesk Sell and HubSpot CRM
Reasons for Choosing Glue Up: Features, integrated native modules and cost-benefit.

Reasons for Switching to Glue Up: Features, integrated native modules and cost-benefit.
Great NGO management software at fair price
Pros:
A lot of features, great interface, very modern software.
Cons:
Quoatas for contacts, emails and events require careful management.
Alternatives Considered: White Fuse and WildApricot
Reasons for Choosing Glue Up: Wanted to remove admin overhead associated with using open source product.
Switched From: CiviCRM
Reasons for Switching to Glue Up: Best set of features for the price. It allowed us to do what we needed and added some extra functionality. Wild Apricot seemed outdated, White Fuse was lacking.
Great for Chambers and Business Councils
Comments: So far it has been great when it comes to information management, event management and membership management. When it comes to the campaigns, we have experienced issues with the lag, but otherwise, it has been a major positive change for our Chamber.
Pros:
The integration of Membership and ease of managing RSVPs for events (including the creation of badges) has saved us a lot of time.
Cons:
the number of times we have gotten "Error 404" and how often the page freezes.
User friendly Platform
Comments: My overall experience with Glue Up has been highly positive. It’s an intuitive and comprehensive platform that streamlines event management, community building, and membership engagement.
Pros:
Glue Up makes it easy to create and manage both in-person and virtual events. Users can set up event pages with registration forms, ticketing options, and event details in just a few steps, which saves time and reduces the hassle of coordinating logistics.
Cons:
There was nothing like that we as a company need to use it more often
Great Product
Comments: Responsive and helpful customer service.
Pros:
I have everything for my organization and membership all in one platform.
Cons:
Integration with other products takes some time figuring out.
Exceptional All-in-One Platform with Outstanding Customer Service
Comments: The platform’s intuitive interface and robust functionality - so it has potential to greatly improve any organization's membership management, event management and community engagement efforts. The customization options are particularly impressive, allowing you to tailor the platform to our specific needs and branding - the sales consultants are knowledgeable and interested to meet your needs adequately. The sales consultant [sensitive content hidden] has consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism and responsiveness, promptly addressing any questions.
Pros:
It's an all in one CRM, so everything is centralized. Membership Management; Event Management; Email Marketing; etc. Service: The sales consultants are extremely attentive and supportive. [sensitive content hidden] was patient, thorough and did not hesitate to go the extra mile to find the best customizations for our needs.
Cons:
For small organizations with many contacts, but low-income / lower budget for operations (especially in the non-profit space, where profits are usually used for dedicated projects), it may be pricey.
An integral tool in our operations
Comments: Event management, contact management, committee management, and member management are all being streamlined by using Glue Up. This increases our efficiency and benefits us greatly.
Pros:
The interface is very user-friendly, and the capabilities on offer are extensive and relevant. The simplicity of the design and the functionality make this platform stand out.The staff are also accommodating and are quick to assist us if needed. The bank of information available with tutorials on how to get the maximum out of Glue-Up is also helpful. We use this platform for the majority of our business and are continuing to look at ways to integrate furtherBy having all contact, event, registration, and campaign details in one place, we can streamline our efforts and maximise efficiency. Particularly, the ability to group our contacts into various committees that can then be integrated into event pages is helpful. The event and registration pages themselves provide extensive flexibility while remaining entirely user friendly.
Cons:
On rare occasions, the platform experiences some technical issues making us unable to access it. It would also benefit us to have full control over the invoice template. Currently, we cannot use this functionality due to legal requirements from Cambodia (as we must show the amount in a currency not yet accepted by Glue-Up) which is a shame.
Intuitive design, speedy sign up and onboarding
Comments: I am solving a problem or managing and automating events without getting overwhelmed. This software has helped me in getting things done, especially the digital side of things for managing events for my clients, without any headaches.
Pros:
Their backend interface is quite intuitive. You just learn it on your own which saves time in managing and automating tasks. I run an event management company with focus on wedding events, and I know how easy it is to set up an upcoming events page, then promoting that event, then managing resigtratoions, then getting feedback on how everything turned out. especially in the wake of Covid 19, Glue up software has really helped me in managing my events coronavirus free
Cons:
some of the SEO related features at the backend are not really needed especially meta keywords. they can consider removing those features adding more features that are needed In 2021.
User-Friendly
Comments: I am very happy as it functions as one stop centre for both event and membership management.
Pros:
I have been using the EventBank software for almost 1 year above. At first, to be honest, I hesitated to switch to EventBank from the previous software (the feel to stay in the comfort zone even though it wasn't). Reluctantly, I chose EventBank due to recommendations from my employer and they proved I was wrong. EventBank made my life easier. There few points I would like to state here to justify my statement. EventBank is user-friendly. Any software be it advanced or more advanced, but if it not user-friendly, it will not be useful for the users. But EventBank's features are simple, not complicated and easy to understand. EventBank is an online event management software focused on customer reviews on events and membership management with excellent financial details as well. It includes review monitoring, review generation, review marketing, social publishing, social engagement and many more. Apart from that, EventBank has its own brilliant and respectable technical team. I would like to mention here about representative who has been super supportive throughout the months I have been using this software.
Cons:
The least that I liked about this software is there should be linked with the respective organization's banks.
One of the best CRM solutions available for a Not-for-profit company
Comments: Our experience with GlueUp has been great and most importantly the dedicated Relationship manager is always there to guide in setting up for upcomming event, email campaign, etc
Pros:
It is a one stop CRM, that helps us to build, connect and grow our community of members, especially for our events and financial tasks.
Cons:
Mainly two issues. You have to manually edit the invoice number in order to upload on the GST portal in India. Glue Up should include more features in its mobile app.
Alternatives Considered: Salesforce Sales Cloud
RSVP management easily with Glue Up
Pros:
Professionalizing our databases and event operations, such as invites, response monitoring, finances, and more, was made possible with GlueUp. GlueUp's subscription procedure is simplified and the most effective system with few costs. Members' info is well protected.
Cons:
Sadly, owing to our country's legal constraints, we could not access certain of the functionalities, notably the billing option. Although it is nearly difficult to discover software that will fulfill all of an organization's needs, there are several options available.
Simple and user friendly CRM System
Comments: I appreciate the customer support [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], who always in timely manner response on any given time of the day and week. He always follow up and is extremely helpful. Wish [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was the one, who had been the first project manager, so it wasnt so delayed. But [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is super competent and understand his customers.
Pros:
The software is very user friendly and not complicated and perfect for event and membership management.
Cons:
Some features and the structure not so flexible. Still feel room for improvement to enhance the features. And many extra features is a different pricing contract.
Long way to go
Pros:
The one and only positive thing I'd like to stress is just the event management system, being it their core business, though pretty limited alone.
Cons:
– Really fuzzy servers: editing and creating things on the platform is painstakingly slow and often the user can lose all the work done. – Newsletter editing features are very, very terrible. Please, avoid altogether if you plan to manage a newsletter also.
Simple but pain-staking
Pros:
Easy customer management. Having an event management together.
Cons:
Events and Newsletter created with the template that are not the latest design trend. Editing your event and Newsletter are limited with built in function. Function that are free with others CRM are a paid service such as API integration and Google Analytics tracking. It like having an excel file with customer information in it and you need to add in a customer one by one. Server are slow and sometime will stuck and would resulted loss of work.
Best event management software
Pros:
The event management and registration functions are my favorite parts of Glueup system. It's super easy to access, and beginner-friendly to work around. The payment option includes both China-preferred Ada pay and credit card options, which makes it easy for our users with different needs. Glueup also provides great client services. Their client managers are reliable, professional and responsive, and have been my irreplaceable partners in all events.
Cons:
To due unexpected server challenges, Glueup system might be slow from time to time.
Productive now that we have Eventbank
Comments:
We have tried many "popular" services in China to sell tickets to our events and it is clear that they don't know their industry. Eventbank clearly made the effort to think from an organiser's perspective rather than click bait standpoint (or least effort required).
With Eventbank, I can onboard new organisers smoothly and delegate them exactly the rights I want. It's simple to create personalised and professional designs for our event pages. Sharing on social media and their payment methods are all smooth and straightforward.
The customer support is on top of things and answer with care.
I have suggested to improve the analytics and other small features, I am confident they will think it through and develop if it makes sense.
I would seriously be unhappy and lose productivity if I had to opt out of Eventbank.
Pros:
With Eventbank, I can onboard new organisers smoothly and delegate them exactly the rights I want. It's simple to create personalised and professional designs for our event pages. Sharing on social media and their payment methods are all smooth and straightforward.
Cons:
They could provide more analytics, drive some traffic from their own audience and offer more features to design their event pages.
Easy-to-use event management tool with great support
Comments: Efficiency, happy attendees, professional look.
Pros:
We use EventBank's event management software for all of our large events at Kempinski. It is very intuitive and easy-to-use, and we can create great looking professional event websites with registration, payments, community features, and other information we need to display. QR Code Check-ins with the Manager App are super-fast. Great thing is also that we have a dedicated Customer Success Manager and she helps us with all the questions and queries in a timely manner.
Cons:
Our event pages are bi-lingual - both English and Chinese, and sometimes the Chinese version of the website is not super intuitive.
NordCham Philippines
Comments: Currently the software adds most value in connection to our events: sign-ups, payments, marketing, registrations and check-in.
Pros:
Provides a single platform for all key aspects of a chamber of commerce, and as such offers tremendous support to the operations of our organization.
Cons:
User interface is cumbersome, and it takes a long time to navigate from one section the other. The database seems to run slow and is not very dynamic.
AmCham Poland
Pros:
- ease of use - designed for events (event are not an add-on) - flexibility
Cons:
Membership section needs to more be clear as for member only organizations like we are. Bit more flexibility in renewing/cancelling memberships
Glue Up Response
Thank you, Mateusz! We are delighted to hear about your great experience using our all-in-one software.
Ideal software for nonprofits and other member-based organizations
Pros:
I highly recommend Glue Up to all membership organizations worldwide. We have been able to manage our members, analyze performance, and process membership performance all through their Membership Management Suite in less time, and with greater flexibility. Furthermore, we have been very happy with the responsiveness and commitment to the results we have received from Glue Up.
Cons:
Some technical issues occur occasionally, preventing us from accessing the platform. Also, some features could use more customization options.
User-friendly platform with powerful CRM tools and great customer support
Comments: Since using Glue Up, we have become more productive as the system is very smart with lots of integrations and automations in place. Ability to collect online payments is definitely a big bonus for us.
Pros:
Easy to use, smart and automated. Ability to integrate cross-platform is very helpful.
Cons:
Ability to produce analytical graphics for reports.
