One of the BEST Email Marketing Tools EVER!
Comments: I've loved every minute I've spent on Brevo. My business has grown because of Brevo. Everything is easy to use, fast, and reliable.
Pros:
Brevo (previously Sendinblue) is a fantastic automation builder. I loved how detailed you can go in your automations and create the most personalized feel for your audience.
Cons:
So far, well, NOTHING! I've found nothing that I didn't like in Brevo!
Simple, fast and intuitive
Comments: I really appreciate the simplicity and ease of creating and sending campaigns. The intuitive design makes it incredibly straightforward to get a campaign up and running without any hassle. This smooth process allows me to focus more on crafting the right message rather than spending time on technical setup, which is a huge advantage.
Pros:
I appreciate the simplicity of creating campaigns. The straightforward process allows me to quickly convey the message I need to get across. This efficiency helps save time and ensures that my campaigns are launched without unnecessary complications. Additionally, the reports provided are clear and easy to understand, which makes it simple to analyze performance and adjust strategies accordingly. Overall, the user-friendly approach and transparent reporting empower me to focus more on the core content of my campaigns rather than getting bogged down by technicalities.
Cons:
It's not a unique problem for Brevo, but one thing I dislike is that the statistics for sent campaigns are not entirely accurate. This issue is common among all providers. While the platform itself is user-friendly, the inconsistency in data makes it difficult to fully trust the campaign performance metrics. It’s an industry-wide challenge, but it’s still something that affects the overall reliability of email marketing tools.
Stay away from Brevo
Comments: Don’t waste your $ here. There are plenty of cheaper and more powerful CRMs out there.
Pros:
After my initial set up which was smooth I had no good experiences.
Cons:
The customer service was so bad. It was like I didn’t exist.

Mailing for memberships
Comments: Overall we have a fantastic experience with Brevo and will continue to use it for the foreseeable future.
Pros:
The ease of use and setting up of the system. It works well with our membership database by being easily updatable via an excel export/import function. It is highly configurable for setting up lists and filters allow us to tailor make our content for our subscribers. The price is also good in comparison with other platforms.
Cons:
If a contact changes their data within the brevo system we do not receive a report to show what has changed which would allow us to update our main database.
Easiest and best tool to use for beginners, agencies and personal brands.
Comments:
Very good, its a fair pricing system. The Desktopapp is never down or lagging.
Overall one software in our techstack we dont think of changing and actually dont compare. Brevo always brings out new stuff you need.
Pros:
Ease of use of the product is the best. Brevo is the easiest to learn and use for non-technical people. Creating Campaigns through the multiple channels is great and the email campaigns templates are create. A lot of freedom to create and also with the Audience Creation super easy. We manage multiple clients and our own newsletter all in one brevo account.
Cons:
The Automations / Workflows and native Integrations could be better. We mostly do everything with Zapier but it would be nice to have more direct integrations and use Brevo even easier with our techstack.
Genrally good
Comments: Genrally good the product i genrally good a few niggles with their automated blocking and no visability on to why
Pros:
simple to use complete set of products for marketing
Cons:
cost isnt grreat for starups and we have had issues with being blocked from sending
Very good, will continue using.
Comments: Very good, efficient and detailed. I have no problems with campaign managing.
Pros:
Simplicity is what I like best. It is very user friendly.
Cons:
Pricing, I wish there were more options for non-profits.

5 star delight!
Comments: 5 star experience from initial setup to sending out my first batch of emails. Would highly recommend.
Pros:
Its just so simple to use! Within a few clicks I had my contacts list set up, a campaign built and finally sent. Took like 5 minutes.
Cons:
At the moment I have not found any. I'll be sure to let you know!
Excellent service and support
Comments: The service has been great. It helped resolve mail delivery issues that we were experiencing on our sites. The support team is always available to assist quickly if there are any issues.
Pros:
Helped resolve mail delivery issues for my transactional emails.
Cons:
Being suspended due to spammers submitting via the form.
Sales growth
Comments: It raised marketing to another, more modern level where it helps increase sales and where each function makes it easy to work on each process and more with excellent results.
Pros:
It is a platform that has helped me to better manage sales with perfect follow-up to each client and more personalized attention. Email marketing has been key to sales growth where each campaign has been successful and well received by all clients. Its ease of use is what I liked most from the beginning because it was easy to learn all its functions correctly.
Cons:
There is nothing wrong with Brevo, it has always been a good ally for me and I like all its features.
Alternatives Considered:
Worst company to deal with - Stay away!
Comments:
Sendinblue is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. Not only their support is close to inexistent for users with premium account, but they treat you like a criminal. I've been using them for almost a year, when suddenly they deactivated the account, saying there was a complaint. That's it: someone makes a complaint, you have no chance to defend yourself, and they DEACTIVATE the account???
What happens with all the customer information I had stored there? What happens with the SMS credits I purchased? What happened with the monthly subscription?
Went on their Facebook page and guess what, I found at least 2 other customers having the EXACT same issue. Which FB page is also a joke, there's no engagement with THEIR customers.
Now I understand why they are such a cheap alternative.... because their service is the same: cheap
Pros:
There are no pro's, you have to figure it our yourself, and even the information posted on their website contradicts with real life usage
Cons:
No customer support, even if you have the Premium account, they have no respect for that. Their Social Media is also irrelevant, even their CEO's Linkedin account is irrelevant. His contact info on the Linkedin page is incorrect. My advice? Stay AWAY!
Email marketing is better with Sendinblue
Comments: We had a good experience working with this software, our newsletter and email marketing campaign are fully automated and can be scheduled for the next 2 months forward. We are very happy that we can have a full control on the leads and verification on the leads.
Pros:
Sendinblue is the best tools that i have use for our email marketing campaign automation. All the emails sent is instantly executed and receive by the recipient in no time. All the report analytics for the opening-click-rate and email reading time can be generated a day after the emails sent. They also offer a good software integration like Mailchimp and Woocommerce.
Cons:
There are some aspect that Sendinblue should improve, especially on the customer support service which too slow in responding our ticket and support email. Other than that, the landing page template design is somehow not fully customizable and some of the widget is not easily editable.
Alternatives Considered:
Sendinblue is a great email marketing platform
Comments: Overall, I have had a positive experience with Sendinblue. The platform is easy to use and the reporting features are really helpful in improving my email marketing results. I would definitely recommend Sendinblue to anyone looking for a good email marketing solution. Sadly we missed alot of other features, so we switched over to a more complete platform. But price wise sendinblue is GREAT for email marketing!
Pros:
I have been using Sendinblue for a while now and I have to say that I am really happy with it. It is a great platform for sending out newsletters and other automated emails. The reporting features are also really good, and I have been able to improve my open rates and click-through rates thanks to the insights I have gained from the reports. Overall, I would highly recommend Sendinblue to anyone looking for a great email marketing platform.
Cons:
I didn't really like the fact that I couldn't personalize my emails as much as I would have liked. I also found the interface a bit confusing at times.
Alternatives Considered:
Brevo is flexible, usable, complete - everything we needed in a tool.
Pros:
It's so simple to use. Even if you're not a marketer or particularly tech literate, the layout and design of the platform is excellent and nothing feels off limits or too technical. We are relatively new to email marketing and it doesn't feel you need loads of previous experience to get going to take advantage of the great feature set. It is also extremely flexible, you can pay for the bits you need and the contacts you use without feeling like you're not taking advantage of features that are not relevant. It also fit really well with our existing processes and we were able to integrate our tech smoothly to get all the data we needed into Brevo. It is by no means just an email marketing tool either, it has a complete feature set that gives you everything you could possibly need when you need it.
Cons:
I guess the only thing I would change/add is more templates for email. It does a great job of giving you basic layouts and letting you build your own library, but the it would be great to introduce a template marketplace like has been done with Webflow. I would probably pay for templates as I am no designer.
Beware! They will terminate you withour notice, if your customers dimply don't open your emails enough!
Comments: bad, unfair, false accusations, poor customer service
Pros:
The low price, great discoverability, other than that I urge people to stay far away. There are more ethical platforms out there.
Cons:
We uploaded a modest list of valid customers and 100% opt ins and sent an annual holiday email. Deliverability was great (better than our current mailer Pabbly, thats why we are migrating) and our open rate was great for us, there were no spam complaints, but after three emails for around 500 customers each, they not only suspended my terminated my new account, without any ability to appeal! I am an 18 year old A+ BBB rated company, been using Pabbly (Mailget) with 0 spam flags for about 6 years- and I am presuming that the open rate wasn't high enough for them, but it's the holidays and I presume people are getting inundated during cyber week. *This does not make me a spammer* nor did I break their TOS in any way. I pleaded 5 times to allow me to prove that each customer was legit, even giving them credentials to my "mailmunch" opt in to confirm my list and some young student from India replied and confirmed my termination without reason or discussion, other than "we don't disclose why..." I have never in 18 years been treated like a criminal and spammer, this was insulting and unfair, and there in no sane person there to speak to, once they drop the guillotine, STAY AWAY. Where else have people gone, my list is about 13k, and we send mailings quarterly, any alternatives that treat ethical customers better?
Sendinblue Response
Hi Dawn, Thank you for your review. I completely understand your frustration. Upon checking with our customer experience team, it seems that your contacts are non opt-in. However, as suggested in ticket #3903436, please help us with some additional information on the contact collection practices so that we can review your request further. Thank You
Reliability of emailing service and deliverability
Pros:
We have been using this tool for several cases: transaction emails (notifications and conformations ) for our software service, email marketing campaigns, Analytics&Logs. These tools are very useful for us, as we need to provide various important notifications + instant alerts. Thus, reliability with deliverability is an important metric for us. The system shows about 94% delivered emails, which is a good number. Support is also very good.
Cons:
We often experience issues with the reliability of service. The system got down or degraded each month, sometimes twice per month. So, our notifications were delayed for a couple of hours, and our customers didn’t receive instant emails with notifications. This is not so much important for email marketing campaigns, but for the transactions, this is the #1 priority, especially if you provide your service around the world. Hope, Sendinblue will improve its infrastructure and reliability.

Incredible tool
Comments:
It helps very much in my automations using JS scripts on my site or scripts (via API) in my computer.
Very good to send newsletters too, with a high send limit.
And I use to all my transactional e-mail of my Wordpress website using the plugin. Much better than PHP mail.
Pros:
Great free tier Marketing Automation tool with many types of workflows Great limit to send e-mail marketing and transactional emails Nice plugins for Wordpress Easy to make e-mail templates and preview then with many options Connection with other tools using API Simple API with many functions JS to automation easy to setup Great support (even in portuguese)
Cons:
Sometimes the platform is a little slow, but I think it's temporary because the suddenly increase of users.l

Great email sending platform
Comments: It is a great platform for email marketing, where you can decide if you want to be charge for number of mails sent or contact list volume.
Pros:
The drag and drop system is really easy to use, the templates even if they are basic works well, it has a great customer service who responds fast and finally love the a/b testing
Cons:
Some metrics doesn't match with Google Analytics statistics, and I found some issues in the process to import a list of contacts
Alternatives Considered:
E-mail marketing made easy
Comments: We use it weekly and in some cases daily. It's easy to use, easy to get data and easy to setup and change according with the reports we are able to obtain.
Pros:
The platform is really user friendly and it allows us to integrate data with our in-house developed systems.
Cons:
The customisation of the design of each e-mail it's a little bit tricky, but we make it work with our own designs being uploaded in the platform.
Alternatives Considered:
Truly Unintuitive Software with Awful Customer Support
Comments: The company offers a well-priced solution to email marketing, but has not figured out the tech support component that would be required to make it a truly useful option for most businesses.
Pros:
When switching from my current email provider, Sendinblue seemed like the perfect alternative—rather than pay based on email addresses stored, you could pay based on use. There is a huge market for this type of arrangement for small businesses that may have a larger subscriber base that they communicate with infrequently. For this reason I thought Sendinblue offered great value for my exact needs.
Cons:
Uploading addresses and sorting fields and all of that made sense and worked. It wasn't completely seamless, but it was easy enough. However, to then actually get your email addresses and account verified and authorized to send out emails was a nightmare. Tech support sent out the barest hint of a reply to queries about what had gone wrong and provided no actual help in troubleshooting how to finish the last step of verification before you can send your first email. After asking several times for support, and troubleshooting for *months*, I stuck with my current provider rather than risk a non-responsive and faulty service..
Alternatives Considered:
Anyone can use this!
Comments: We were looking at email marketing and automation of our daily tasks as our candidate base had gotten very large and we needed a solution. We used others like Sendgrid and Mailchimp, but either their features were too limiting or you had to scale up and pay quickly to get the solution you wanted or it was too difficult to navigate around as an end user.
Pros:
As an end user and no training in IT whatsoever, I would say that it has made email marketing easy and accessible for those who are looking at a feature filled but simple dashboard with excellent analytics to boot. Far better than any other email marketing solution out there and it does the thinking for you, they've really thought out the end user here and made things simple.
Cons:
I'd say the pricing is fairly steep for a start up like ours, but at the moment we're becoming so reliant on this service and the paid features look like true added value so I might be being a bit miserly!
It enables us to expand the scope of marketing campaigns and target a larger number of customers.
Comments: Sendinblue helped us expand the reach of our marketing campaigns by enabling us to create content that's suitable for various communication channels. Additionally, the data captured was helpful in understanding customer trends better.
Pros:
Sendinblue is a dependable platform for effortlessly managing email campaigns and communication across various channels. I appreciate how Sendinblue provides a central location to oversee and monitor all stages of marketing campaigns. Their premium templates help initiate and organize campaign content, while the drag-and-drop campaign block builder makes it easy to insert multimedia elements. Sendinblue simplifies contact list creation and segmentation, allowing for unlimited customer targeting. I particularly like how Sendinblue customizes campaigns for SMS, WhatsApp, and Messenger content, and the scheduling tool is especially helpful for organizing sending times according to preferences. Sendinblue also provides robust tools to track and measure campaign success, including open rates, clicks, and conversions. The data captured is easy to understand and can be exported to analytics platforms.
Cons:
While I haven't encountered many challenges with Sendinblue, setting up email templates can be tricky without proper guidance. A bug in the settings may cause campaigns to end up in the spam email list.
Alternatives Considered:
Value for money email marketing automation tool
Comments: Overall, its a great tool to have with generous features and very attractive pricing. For transactional emails, it is a go to solution and is almost a no brainer choice to have.
Pros:
It is easy to operate, has almost no learning curve and is very cost effective. In fact for someone starting out, the free plan is so generous that it serves the purpose well for years. Compared to mailchimp and the likes, it is way way cheaper while retaining many of their features. In fact the pricing is basis the per email sent and not on the basis of your contact list size which makes it very attractive.
Cons:
The email templates are good to go but are not that attractive and modern as some of its competitors like klaviyo have. Infact for automation of emails, the automation flows are also not exhaustive and for specific use cases you will have to build your own flows from scratch. There are not many third party developers who provide ready to use flows as compared to klaviyo.
Impressive email campaign management tool
Comments: With Brevo, we can quickly and easily create and send polished emails to large groups of recipients. It's fantastic to be able to sort the contact list by different criteria so you can send emails to the right people. It has other cool features that we don't use right now, but they're there. I can easily leverage communications across numerous channels by sharing your content on social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc. In addition to marketing and constituent communications, we use it for all other forms of email outreach.
Pros:
The ability to examine contact-specific metrics from email campaigns, such as who opened the email, who didn't, who clicked on the link, etc., is one of my favorite features of this platform. I can also see how well your campaign is doing because it automatically tracks its results. When it comes to email templates, you have a lot of choices. I like how easy it is to change the layout, color scheme, fonts and backgrounds. The interface is intuitive, and your work is saved in its current state if you need to pause in the middle of the process.
Cons:
Creating an email may require some graphic design skills. Sometimes it's more trouble than it's worth to drag and drop a bunch of images into the template. The mobile responsiveness is amazing, but there is room for improvement.
Don't believe the hype...for all the support you'll get you might as well write your own software
Comments: Well if I haven't said enough already all I can do is reaffirm that Brevo has been a waste of time from a business point of view and a terrible experience from a personal one.So call tech support is an utter joke, the staff arrogant, belittling and even confrontational.Irrespective of how bad or mediocre the service turned out to be, how can you work with such horrible people?Your call
Pros:
Up front I liked the blurb that tells me "easy to use" and "top notch support" neither of which turn out to be the least bit true. So, when you discover that this is a whole new minefield then ask for help, the support it not just laughable but outright insulting....more below
Cons:
The whole experience was a waste of time and energy, I am insisting on a full refund but once again "support" just send me links to pages and tell me to sort it out myself.I feel a court case coming on.So, what can you say about Brevo "Customer Experience Officers" except they do their best to make that experience a bad one, to the point they are as a team and individually, arrogant, uncaring, and are happy to insult to the point of being confrontational...you will be treated like an idiot. If you wish to work under those conditions it's up to you but not me. Also, was it good for my business? Not it the least

Hi Richard, Hope you are doing well. We are very sorry to hear about your experience. So that we can look into this further, could you please share the support id/email linked with your account and the ticket # where you had a conversation with our team. Looking forward to your reply.
