The permission controls are granular enough to segregate internal, external, and advisor access without involving IT. Bulk upload works reasonably well for large folders, and document indexing is accurate and easy enough to find what is needed via basic search. Email notifications for new document uploads is nice and i really like the Q\&A feature as well as it helped keep external counterparties on track during the busier stages of the process. > > **Cons**: The learning curve is steeper than it should be, even for users who are familiar with other virtual data rooms, and i needed a walk through with IT before i was comfortable. The user interface feels a little dated and unintuitive, with too many clicks required to perform simple actions like moving folders, updating permissions, or answering Q\&A in bulk. From a cost perspective, the pricing structure is relatively high in this digital age.
