About Miro
The #1 visual workspace for innovation that enables distributed teams of any size to dream, design, and build the future together.
In addition, I like the integration with Microsoft Teams as an additional way to collaborate.
Sometimes I get lost with the layers or locking content. I feel that this feature could be set differently.

Miro helps collaborative thinking and visualization
Comments: Miro has greatly simplified our ability to efficiently prepare for and address issues with current initiatives. It has reduced the need for back-and-forth emails by providing a more engaging medium for sharing information.
Pros:
One of the best things about using miro is that it's just like having a virtual whiteboard to write down and draw out your thoughts. We can collaborate, plan, etc. virtually as my team is all overseas.
Cons:
However, Miro could improve this service by adding smart groups and data grouping and upgrading live conversation video.
Miro is a hero!
Comments: Miro is my favorite tool that I have used when collaborating with my team. I use this tool primarily for flow chart creation to demonstrate user flow and technical architecture diagrams to my clients. My clients are always impressed when I bring out the miro documentation!
Pros:
Easy to use, great collaboration tool, and awesome pre-made templates
Cons:
Miro doesn't have many flaws that I can think of to be honest. It's my favorite, most used tool.
I regret our decision to buy Miro
Comments: I was part of the team which selected Miro for one client, and I regret not fighting harder against the decision to buy it.
Pros:
Miro is a nice tool for collaborative whiteboarding and its main advantage is that it's becoming somewhat ubiquitous, which is helpful when working across multiple teams and companies, as I do.
Cons:
I consider Miro to be more of a hindrance than a help to my work, mostly because of the obstructive, slow, and "clicky" user interface.
Alternatives Considered:
Great tool for collaboration - could use minor ease-of-use adjustments
Comments: This is a great planning and drafting tool for a team that desires flexibility and a less restrictive collaboration experience. The visuals are fun and engaging in a way that adds to the client experience when conducting exercises with external parties, as well. Some additional duplication and connection features would speed up the mapping process, however with time users become accustomed to the functionality and, overall, the tools are quite workable.
Pros:
The navigation between screens and shared viewing/user tracking are extremely intuitive and allow for co-working without requiring a restrictive experience via single-user screenshare.
Cons:
The text organization and merging of mapping items could be more intuitive. For users that are particular about the cleanliness of their visuals, expect to take some time to revisit your work to create a uniform experience.
Miro - the swiss army knife for all my collaborative product work
Comments: integral part of my daily work as a product and team leader.
Pros:
first choice for collaborative brainstorming, designing, creation and discussion of concepts. Love the flexibility, and the continuous innovation of the platform.
Cons:
it is tough to stay up to date with all the recent feature additions and capabilities.
Miro Review
Comments: Miro is so much fun, very productive, and overall just an amazing experience. Being able to collaborate with others fluidly in real time is easily done in Miro, and that strength makes this software captivating.
Pros:
The creative boundaries that Miro pushes are sky high, allowing the user to make the most of their desired experience.
Cons:
The eraser tool is what I liked least about Miro. It erases entire strokes of lines instead of just the portions you want to erase.
Does the job for story boarding
Pros:
My favourite thing about Miro is the ability to select and arrange an array of sticky notes for storyboarding.
Cons:
Navigating around the application isn’t fully seamless. Sometimes you lose track of where your work is in the endless white page void.
Powerful tool for collaboration
Comments: I like Miro and feel as if I haven't quite unlocked its potential..more to learn but the learning curve is high
Pros:
I like the sharing aspect and the whiteboard
Cons:
It can be hard to workout where you are on the board, following along can be tricky if there's a lot of content
My opinion on Miro
Pros:
Miro is fond to provide a collaborative platform where teams can brainstorm and develop ideas visually. It harmonizes well with different workflows, facilitating communication and project development.
Cons:
For individual use, some of the features might not be fully utilized. It performs best when used to its full potential by teams.
Miro Review
Comments: Miro? Wow, it's amazing! We use it for all our brainstorming sessions now, and it's so much better than anything we've tried before
Pros:
It's super easy to use and it works on everyone's computers. Sharing ideas and creating diagrams is so simple, and I love that it has built-in templates. Plus, we can use it with our other work tools, which is really convenient
Cons:
Honestly, I can't think of anything bad to say about it. It's exactly what we needed!
Miro is the operating system for a creative distributed team
Comments: Miro fast become our essential collaboration tool to maintain creativity and innovation as we scaled across the world with people in over 20 countries.
Pros:
Miro is a fantastic tool with numerous use cases for a global distributed team who is focused on staying connected. Without Miro, we do our entire OKR planning cycle which is complex processed orientated. After using many tools, Miro was the tool that our team used and validated. We use Miro for BPM across the business and we also use the collaborative power of Miro for creative brainstorming, giving our team a voice and satisfying that creative need across the business. The Miro community templates are also a massive value add giving inspiration and ideas on how to tackle a process design.
Cons:
The only con for Miro is sometimes the time it takes to build maps if you are building yourself. With mind meister, you could use shift and it would automatically create more spaces in the mind map which really helps when you are brainstorming with ideas coming freely. With Miro, sometimes it takes time to build the actual map and this can prohibit the quality of brainstorming.
Use Miro for agile working and idea generation
Comments: Overall experience is extremely positive. It is very user friendly and the collaboration tools are the best in the business.
Pros:
Really helps agile working in the business and has a clear way to support idea generation
Cons:
It has slightly less functionality for offline tools.
Collaboration is important? In-house or remote, this is your tool!
Pros:
The ease of use and the ability for any and all to participate in discussions and ideations.
Cons:
It is large and moves slowly as the boards get bigger.
Alternatives Considered:
This tool has so many good uses
Comments: We started playing with it for wireframes with free licenses. Then had a workshop with a customer and needed to by a couple of users and since then we haven't looked back. We use it a lot.
Pros:
Easy to invite free users to a workshop/session and it is so easy for them to participate and contribute. Totally hassle free to start working with. And the use cases are so many. We do a lot of SCRUM meetings. We do wireframes, brainstorming, workshops, idea management and more.
Cons:
Tried doing a Product Roadmap and it is very visible but a hassle to do and update so I don't use it for that anymore.
Alternatives Considered:
Use Miro if you work on teams and save a lot of update calls!
Comments: I love this tool to go through a design thinking process with my clients and we can work on the project at the same time and irritate it even if we are not in the same room.
Pros:
I really love the fact that you can save your board with a password so not everybody is able to access the board if they are not supposed to. I also love that is really easy to handle and intuitiv. It helps all the team members to work on one project and it doesnt matter where you are.
Cons:
I actually dont like the zoom in miro. This is actually better in figma or similar tools. I sometime get to close or I select everything by accident. I hope miro can fix that in the future.
The best way to collaborate online
Comments: I like the way it's easy to use. Also my clients use it easily even if they don't use it everyday.
Pros:
I get used to work almost everyday on Miro. I work a lot with people and projecting creative features to make their experience better.
Cons:
Sometimes it stops and doesn't let me work frictionlessly.
Great Performance With Miro
Comments: Miro is a wonderful platform that gives meaningful outcomes.
Pros:
Miro is a wonderful workplace that has a great impact to me and it is easy to use. It helps bring ideas together inorder to solve problems.
Cons:
Nothing at all l, Miro works wonderfully.
The tool that helps us simplify and efficiently understand our workflow
Comments: Miro has been a great support for our meetings and brainstorming sessions, and I appreciate its support for remote work as it has helped us accomplish many tasks.
Pros:
I like everything about Miro. I love its organized whiteboard that has all the ready-made elements that help us complete the boards as we need them. I love the ease of gathering approvals from team members before approving the final plan. It is great that Miro allows us to participate in real-time remotely efficiently, and this helps us keep the flow of updates going.
Cons:
I have absolutely no hate for Miro with all its content. It makes the whiteboard a hub for planning and management, and has given our workflows the clarity and transparency we need.
The omni visual app
Comments: Overall I love this product. Moving forward quickly and having great user experience. It is accompanied by Miroverse academy and vast library of ready to use templates.
Pros:
I use it daily for for personal ideation, running team refinements, task tracking, having fun in teambuildings, brainstorming together...there are so many use cases for this vusial multi-purposu tool.
Cons:
Sometimes navigation in boards with many elemenst is messy. Would be great if there was some "back" and "formward" button or a history of visited elements so you can go here and there quickly. Also picking up a group of elements in crowded board can be a challenge.
User-Friendly Collaboration across Teams
Comments: Felt really wow with it on the first glance.
Pros:
The UI is perfect, clean, visually appealing and lag free. All in one tool which can be used for brainstorming, planning and communication. Drag and Drop functionality makes it very easy to create complex boards with ease, even if you use it for first time. There are multiple templates available as well as user created samples which help you plan ahead and get started quickly without any worry. Auto save and being able to see team members in action while working keeps everyone clear of any confusion which collaborating together.
Cons:
Can be a little pricey for smaller teams, but free version is equally powerful. Offline availability and ability to export my board can be improved.
Unshakable bond. Miro is practically genuine and relatable.
Comments: Thumbs up for Miro. Easy and cost effective way to capture creativity and innovation while maintaining a clean record. Ideas are turned into beneficial projects.
Pros:
Bringing teams together has been my greatest achievement using Miro. Creativity emanates from togetherness. Eventually, goals are set and achieved without struggles. Miro is a blessing to me.
Cons:
Miro has not shown any signs of disappointments. It works just fine and accurately. Good work.
The original and still the best
Pros:
I don't know if Miro is truly the first collaborative web whiteboard or not, but it certainly feels like the best and most complete one that got sufficient traction to be widely used. It's super easy to use and that's critical because the whole point is to get your entire team engaged on the common boards, so it has to be easy enough that all your team members can participate.
Cons:
The pricing is really the only thing I can complain about. The free tier is pretty limiting, which I understand, but now that so many other office suites come with a version of whiteboarding/mind-mapping/brain storming software (even Figma now has it), it's really tough to spend this much money on Miro unless you use it as a project management or full-blown UX tool as well. It's much easier to use FigJam, for example, as your brainstorming tool, than it would be to use Miro in place of a full Figma.
A perfect digital workspace for managing work and collaboration.
Comments: With an organization like ours where most of our projects are based on climate evaluation and analysis, we tend to have teams working both remotely and on site. We use Miro as a link between these teams where we get a shared workspace for us to meet digitally and collaborate on the projects. Moreso, Miro helps us to plan our project works which includes creating diagrammatic representations of the projects for easier visualization and monitoring.
Pros:
It was easy for us to implement Miro in our organization. When getting started with Miro, there were alot of simply designed in-built templates which helped us to learn quickly how to maximize the abilities of Miro features. I also like how Miro flexibility allowed us to integrate it with multiple other products that were already existing in our organization. Miro offers us with the best visualization tools which makes it easy to us to visualize our projects in order to have clear understanding on how the projects are progressing. With Miro, were able to collaborate with the other teams who are working remotely without any interferences.
Cons:
The intuitive user interface of Miro makes it so easy to learn the product architecture and this makes it easy to navigate through it. All the times i have used Miro, i always get a flawless experience so no complaints.
Effective task management and collaboration solution
Comments: Miro has been an effective tool in project management and planning enabling our teams to work together
Pros:
I like that the tool allows management and working together among different projects enhancing collaboration.
Cons:
The only drawback i have realized is at times the customer support is unresponsive
I'm glad I found Miro!
Comments: I will choose Miro among the other tools.
Pros:
This is so helpful for someone like me who makes mind mapping and flowcharts on a monthly basis. I love the whiteboard feature the most because it doesn't limit my ideas.
Cons:
There are still many features I haven't discovered, so I still need time to explore!
