Comments: Reduced time spent monitoring systems and processes. Improved customer service to internal clients.

Pros: We have used Robot Schedule, Console, Space and Alert and all products have been great time saving tools and great resources. Schedule in particular has helped automate well over 100 processes that run seamlessly in the background which allows us to spend our time on more important day to day tasks and projects. Schedule was easy to set up and has been very easy to maintain or make changes when needed and ensure we get our important jobs created overnight and get our reports out to internal customers effectively and efficiently. Robot Console, in conjunction with Robot alert has significantly helped us monitor our system and we are notified immediately if there are any issues. One particular issue that required a fix from another vendor, allowed us to use console to automatically re-enable an important system user until the fix was applied. This saved us from having to constantly monitor the user and avoided any problems that would have created.

Veteran software still manages IBMi well!

Comments: We use it to schedule all recurring jobs on our IBMi systems--- except if they require QSECOFR authority level. It saves a lot of time in job set-ups, & also job tracking. It's been an integral part of our production environment for (literally ) decades.

Pros: Easy to use; problem- and bug-free; flexible. It's been around for a LONG time--- we've been using it since the 1980's on IBM systems! Works very well.

Cons: The web or windows client doesn't really provide benefits over the green-screen format, & in my opinion, the green screen is more user-friendly---which is WEIRD! Every time I've tried to use the web client version, it's clunkier or it takes longer to do what is a simple function on the green screen. I also think the reports are lacking --- clunky to use, not enough canned reports.

Comments: We have been a Robot Scheduler User since about 2002. Set up a 'job' or 'group of Jobs' .. and forget it. Product is flexible and has been a blessing for automation and the need to have Operations on point at odd hours. I feel comfortable in saying the Robot Tech Support is among the best we deal with.

Pros: We use Robot Scheduler 24x7 and literally almost every few minutes. The Product is easy to implement, automation, has lots of options and its ease of use is very good. Users are able to get processes ran or reports generated at almost any time, day or configuration. Provides good reporting options.

Cons: I can actually say I have no issues or problems at all with Robot Scheduler. It performs great.
