Most suitable payment partner for your business!
Comments:
My client is using Stripe for payment settlement using POS systems and I used BBPOS WisePad to test the user flow and develop the application.
I am also eager to implement the multi-step payment sharing across platforms.
I had very good experience overall.
Pros:
Stripe interface is very good, simple and easy to use. It gives you a well-knitted dashboard to track incoming and outgoing in a first glance. Stripe is very adopt-friendly, can be plugged-in with any existing tech stack (including low or no-code way).
Cons:
No cons as such, but just to list one, In my country (India), people extensively use Unified Payment Interface linked with credit and debit accounts and that is not currently supported method. Would be great to have it.
great PayPal alternative
Pros:
Very easy to use and navigate. Looks good to customers
Cons:
Bit fa learning curve to set up when not techy
Stripe is no more usefull beaware everyone dont use it
Pros:
Stripe is no more usefull beaware everyone dont use ut
Cons:
I'm disappointed from stripe. I sell my products on shopify and customer receieved their items they all are happy no issue with any customer. Stripe hold my fund and close my account as i did not know why they reject my account we are doing business in uae from last 9 years i provide all business verification never trust on stripe
Fast and flawless. Protects the business against abuse
Comments:
Whenever I need a payment processor for a business, the first choice is Stripe.
It allows you to create buy buttons, subscriptions, invoices and everything you need to run an online business directly from the dashboard, it even has an API in case you need to program something custom.
For a simple business I can create everything related to payments from the dashboard.
Pros:
Fast and flawless payment processor. Transfers run smoothly and protects business money from fraudulent customers. Many product and subscription configuration options.
Cons:
Daily transfer options are somewhat limited and the control panel is a bit cumbersome at first, but you get used to it. The first week can be a bit tedious due to all the verification process, but is ok.
Stripe-Simplify your Small Business Payments and Business Deals
Comments: We've used stripe as our primary business payment system and have been incredibly impressed with it's simplicity but powerful system. It's capable of handling both short term transactions and longer term enterprise deals without much learning curve. With short term transactions, there may be prorations, refunds, automatic payments and there is an easy path to navigating, and monitoring all within Stripe.
Pros:
Stripe is an efficient and easy Payment System that we have incorporated across our B2C and B2B operations. It's a simple to use tool, and easy for both the company and the customer to set up one time payments, reoccurring billing, and PO Payments in Enterprise Procurment Systems.
Cons:
There aren't many disadvantages that we have experienced. Billing set up can be a little manual to establish at the start, but ultimately it's an easy to understand platform.
Easy to implement, easy to manage, easy to use
Pros:
I like how easy it is to implement Stripe payment ecosystem to a platform, I worked as a developer and worked for a company who used Stripe, very easy to use, you can change pricing, manage users/buyers/subscribers, very friendly and documentation very complete
Cons:
I had no complains on that moment, beside that is a bit difficult to implement in Non-US based companies.

Stripe is a Reliable and Easy Payment Solution for Businesses
Comments: My overall experience with Stripe has been great. It made accepting payments for my small business smooth and reliable, with a professional checkout process that made it easy for my customers to pay me.
Pros:
I think it's the only payment processor that actually accepts digital wallets as payment methods. This is super useful for small to med business owners.
Cons:
Transaction fees and international payments are more expensive than other alternative services
A really useful solution for accepting online payments
Comments: I use stripe often and I have it integrated into my website so that I can take online payments. I also have it integrated into my accounts software (Xero).
Pros:
I love how easy it is to use stripe and in particular to integrate it into my wordpress website as a payment solution.
Cons:
The costs are a little higher than I would like when compared to other ways of receiving payments.
Great, strict set-up.
Comments: Good, just make sure you follow their rules for privacy policy.
Pros:
Integrates with most everything, easy to use.
Cons:
They are really tough on their privacy policy, they held our funds for a free days until we got it perfect.
Stripe review
Comments: Very easy to apply, easy application, good communication with update pay down emails
Pros:
Easy application, fast approval & easy to use website.
Cons:
Stripe has pretty high apr payback percentages
Fraud prevention is important!
Comments: Not at all good. After my issue with transaction fraud, I could not speak to customer service. It’s virtually impossible to get someone on the phone or just get help in general as a small business owner.
Pros:
The ease of use, there are times when I can’t talk on the phone with a customer because I had one with me in person. I could send them to my website to make their payment and it would process immediately.
Cons:
The fees taken per transaction and then the fees on top of that to transfer the funds and then the fees on top of that to keep the product. Too many fees Also, I had a customer dispute a transaction with her bank and won $2K. Stripe collected $2k from me and didn’t help me. I had the customer on camera, I had the contract with her signature and I had all emails/text messages from the customer. Stripe processed the dispute and lost. After that, I didn’t trust stripe. I stopped using them.
Alternatives Considered: Square Payments and Cash App
Reasons for Choosing Stripe: I thought stripe would be cheaper. It turned out the same but I went back to square because I can always get someone on the phone to help.
Switched From: Square Payments
Reasons for Switching to Stripe: I thought the process was easier. The sign up was easy but it cost me more in the long run because of the amount of loss I ran.
Great payment solution
Comments: We love using Stripe as our online payment solution and recommend it to our clients.
Pros:
It is very easy to setup on most of the platforms and even can be used on its own. Fees are among the lowest on the market.
Cons:
At the moment no crypto currency payments are available.
Alternatives Considered: SumUp and Elavon
Reasons for Choosing Stripe: Due to lower fees and ease of setting up.
Switched From: PayPal
Reasons for Switching to Stripe: We chose it due to low cost and ease of setup.
Best for small business
Comments: Great, hope that if I need customer service it is a better experience.
Pros:
Stripe was super easy to integrate, easy for clients to pay, and never have issues.
Cons:
I can't see a report detailing what client paid what, but my other program does that for me. Customer support when I switched banks took them 4 weeks of not listening to me to fix my accounts. They asked for the same documentation over 8 times literally. Once fixed though, it was fixed.
Alternatives Considered: Square Payments
Reasons for Choosing Stripe: There are no fees with Stripe as I pass the processing fee onto the clients.
Switched From: GatewayAPI
Reasons for Switching to Stripe: Ease of integration, no fees, and no equipment needed.
Held Hostage to Stripe Internal Processes
Comments: Basically as described above: We use Stripe through another party. While Stripe was going through audit verification of our business they put the transfer of our funds on hold. Our cash flow suffered waiting for them to complete their internal business processes. What business does that? They should have continued BAU finishing their processes without impacting our cash flow. Given a choice I would use another provider. I do not want to be held hostage to a providers internal processes and delays that put my payroll at risk.
Pros:
It is an efficient system, good reports, visibility of donors and events provides us the necessary feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of our fundraising programs.
Cons:

Alternatives Considered: Square Payments
Reasons for Switching to Stripe: Seemed to have better reporting down to the event and donors
I give them 3 stars!
Comments: I did not have a good experience with Stripe
Pros:
It was easily accessible and posed minimal difficulty in maneuvering the site.
Cons:
The cost, the lack of customer service, and the incorrectness of verifying accounts.
Alternatives Considered: Square Point of Sale and Square Payments
Reasons for Switching to Stripe: At the time, convenience only. It was an easy platform to navigate.
A new user and here to stay!
Comments: Extremely satisfied! It checks off all the boxes of what our company needs to collect payments and grow our revenue. If our customers are happy then we are happy and they have been overall excited since we made the switch to Stripe.
Pros:
I am a new user to Stripe as my company just made a change to our CRM which is integrated with Stripe. Compared to what we were previously using, this product is incredible. It has streamlined our payment process, making receiving and sending payments more efficient. The ease of use was a huge draw! It is all very intuitive. On top of that, the customer service is incredible. We ran into a few hiccups with the transition, but Stripe was right there alongside us the entire time. I have been so pleased with the prompt responses and thorough troubleshooting.
Cons:
The only drawback was a longer initial payout time but nothing concerning since it was a one-time delay as our account was new. It did not change my overall experience and perception of the product.
Run if your Transactions are high 3 and 4 figures.
Comments: Nightmare, from the beginning to the end.No customer support no reasoning behind their decisions
Pros:
I didn't like a single thing about stripe. As far as I'm concerned their big con company.
Cons:
I held a stripe account for 6 years.Mostly smaller transactions. Then we started getting into government contracting and running 4 figures transactions. They were froze all of them for ninety days
Trusted Provider, Can Be Expensive in Fees and Time
Comments: Good, trustworthy, reliable, efficient, and quick to set up. The only downside is watching your overall transaction fee costs and planning your cashflow schedule to when payments will actually be paid out.
Pros:
We wanted to go with a trusted digital payments provider--and have never had a client or customer mention they couldn't use Stripe. Secure, reliable for both parties in the transaction, and easy to both set up and use as a consumer.
Cons:
The payout fees on transactions can really eat into the cost of goods and services; further, it's important to note that payouts to the supplier/provider can take at least several days.
Alternatives Considered: PayPal
Reasons for Switching to Stripe: Ease of use, expected credit/debit card processing. Good for Enterprise transactions.
Stripe is a Reliable and Efficient Payment Processing with Additional Business Support
Comments: Overall, I love Stripe! I have had nothing but great experiences with them, and I plan to use stripe with all of my future businesses.
Pros:
have been a Stripe customer for over two years, during which all of my business transactions have been processed through their platform. The processing fees are competitive, and they offer the option for instant payouts, allowing funds to be transferred to your bank account within minutes. Additionally, Stripe provides business loans based on monthly revenue, which are typically available after maintaining a consistent relationship with the platform for a certain period.
Cons:
I haven’t experienced any cons as of today. It really been a smooth ride with stripe
my Stripe review.
Comments: It enables me to do business online knowing that I can accept payments from customers worldwide, it doesn't matter the location I'm doing business at.
Pros:
Its easy to use, and that it can be used everywhere around the globe, this enables businesses to accept payments from customers worldwide.
Cons:
A bit difficult to integrate or customize without professional help.
NEVER USE STRIPE !!
Comments: if you try to contact support and think you can solve something, FORGET IT! they just connect you every 30 minutes to another agent who has no competence for basic things, I don't understand how a payment gateway that manages money can have such an approach! they are maximally impossible and not helpful at all! this is my worst experience! I believe that this payment gateway will end soon! they only rob sellers of money! if you own an e-shop, don't even think about this payment gateway, and if you have one, end the cooperation as soon as possible, it will be your best decision. You'll thank me later.
Pros:
NEVER USE STRIPE !!! check out their reviews! terrible !!! THEY CANNOT SOLVE THE REQUEST. IT'S JUST A WASTE OF TIME AND YOUR MONEY AND CHAT SUPPORT SHUTS OFF COMMUNICATION AS THEY SEEM WITHOUT RESPONSE. MAXIMUM UNPROFESSIONAL. IT'S A BUNCH OF AMATEURS WHO BLOCK YOUR MONEY! They are simply stealing your money
Cons:
They stealing your money. we used stripe, the support is impossible at most not helpful, they refund the money to the customer without the customer returning the goods, I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO USE. use verified methods such as PAYPAL, GOPAY and other payment gateways because Stripe and Klarna are maximally incompetent.
Poor customer service
Pros:
Ease of processing transactions Electronically
Cons:
Poor customer service and refunds given to clients quite often without providing us justification
Payment Getaway With No Hassle
Comments: Even though the fees more expensive compare to other products, I'm happy with the features and the customer support of Stripe. Highly recommended for e-commerce.
Pros:
Security for merchant and customer, easy to deploy, easy to use, good reporting, well integration with third party
Cons:
Fees more expensive than other payment getaway
Alternatives Considered: PayPal
Switched From: PayPal and Square Payments

Half and half
Comments: It was really congusing for me as a buyer my first time working with stripe. However after checking out their platform an reading a bout it i understand it a bit better now an can see where it would be a great asset under certain circumstances.
Pros:
Its a great platform to use from a selling standpoint... super easy to use, an very user friendly
Cons:
From a buysers stand point its confusing to get a notification that stripe has charged your account an yet wont tell you what its for or who its from.
The de facto payment platform
Pros:
Feature set and API. Integrates with almost everything.
Cons:
Pricing can get expensive quickly. Tools for some processes, such as bulk price changes on subscriptions, don’t exist and need development to achieve.
