Good Overall, Updates can cause issues

4.0 7 years ago

Pros:

Customizable and generally low maintenance, the ability to create "canned" responses for charting that are easily accessible once you figure it out. Overall its a rather intuitive oftware

Cons:

Updates seem to cause issues, unfortunately, they always seem to happen on a Monday morning. The vendor does respond quickly though and if down, its never for long

There is no such thing as a perfect EHR/EMR system

4.0 last year

Pros:

I have been using Greenway Intergy for about 4 years. I previously used a different Greenway EHR system for about years before Intergy. The support is usually pretty knowledgeable about issues and if they aren't able to help they will escalate your case to a higher support team. Within the last 3 to 4 years, Greenway has really stepped up their game with trying to enhance their product. They formed a program for end users to help enhance features within the system. End users were given the opportunity to give feedback about what we liked and disliked and how we felt it could be better. This was a very well thought out program that actively met multiple times within a month for probably 2 years. That is probably my favorite thing that Greenway has ever done. Forms are used in the charting process and I personally don't care for most of the forms that are provided, but the good thing about Intergy is that you can build your own forms to meet your practice's specific needs. They do have a wide range of forms that would most likely fit the needs of other practices. There are a lot of features offered within Intergy.

Cons:

Implementation was one of the worst experiences. Our health center used a Greenway EHR system called Success EHS that Greenway discontinued and we were forced to the conversion of Intergy. Go-Live day was so bad that we ended up using paper chart notes for about 2 weeks. Most likely, a practice using Intergy will need a "super user" because some of the workflows are difficult to perform for the average user. You will need to come up with your own training plan for new employees. Although they have training videos, almost all of them are out of date. The billing process needs a major overhaul.

You will be dissatisfied with Intergy

1.0 3 years ago

Comments: After 26 years of staying with the same company, through many mergers of ownership of the company, I am shocked at how much their customer support has become compromised. If you are considering using their Revenue Service team, I would reconsider. Do not sign a contract of more that 90 days at a time if you decide to go with them. Would not recommend their services at all.

Pros:

I used to like their customer support. I'm very unhappy with that now considering recent changes they have made. I have been at this practice for 26 years, and have stayed with them through all different entities. The recent changes they have made to their customer support has really compromised their company. Also, it seems like every time they get a good group of people to support your practice, they end up getting fired. I cannot stress how much their customer service has been compromised recently

Cons:

I did not have many complaints about the software, it is definitely they customer support and service that has been severely compromised within the past 6 months.

User Friendly and Full of Features

5.0 3 years ago

Pros:

Intergy is very user friendly. It's easy to navigate and to find information on a patient as all activity pertaining to the patient stays within their Intergy account. The user doesn't have to go to separate areas of the software to piece together a story. Scheduling and Patient Management is easy to use and flows nicely. Patient demographics are easy to navigate and the main information on a patient is located all on one screen. Intergy has a robust variety of basic reports built in. For higher level, detailed reporting we use their Practice Analytics (separate system) but the ones within Intergy do give the basics needed for a practice. The ability to create and print custom letters is a great feature. Charge and payment posting is easy to do. The financial activity portion of Intergy is well developed and one of the best compared to other systems I've seen. Tracking activity is easy and all transactions for a charge are easy to understand and follow. System allows for charges to be voided. Financial activity can also be reversed (payment takebacks, contractual adjustments, etc.) easily when necessary.

Cons:

We encounter some issues regarding to set-up for our large multi-specialty practice with multiple sites and providers. We need the ability to have multiple costs centers for a provider but would have to purchase an additional provider user/license for this, which causes other issues. Fee schedule maintenance would be nice to have option to pull the allowable based upon POS.

Greenway Intergy for Medical Practices

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: Overall experience is excellent. Greenway Intergy interfaces with our Phreesia tablet . When we have encounter issues the Support Team ;have been prompt, professional and will ensure the issue is resolved before hanging up the phone. Intergy personnel are great to work with. The system is "user friendly' for new employees. The upgrades ensure the system is current with new
innovative technology.

Pros:

User friendly, with excellent support from Greenway Staff. Intergy meets all of our Medical Practice needs with Patient Medical Records, Finances, Billing, , Reports for Management. The system templates can be modified to meet the AAP guidelines, and Insurance Hedis measures. We are very pleased with the Greenway Intergy Software System.

Cons:

We have experienced difficulty with meagering charts. If we have an patient put into the system twice, it is tricky merging the two charts into one.

I feel like I'm in bizarro world

1.0 5 years ago

Comments: We are a small practice and have sunk too much into changing so now we feel trapped. We have longtime employees talking of quitting because this system is such a frustrating mess. Supposedly there is an update "in the spring" that we are hoping at least makes the software useable.

Pros:

We switched over from Primesuite early because Greenway told us if we did so there would be no extra charge for the new software and Primesuite was no longer being supported.

Cons:

Where to begin? This software has literally brought our thriving practice to its knees. That in and of itself says it all. I have 2 partners in their later careers talking imminent retirement due to this system. I've been in practice 10 years and have found myself looking at other options solely due to the Intergy switch. We were happy using Greenway Primesuite. Like all EMRs, it sucked but at least didn't get in the way of providing patient care. We were told Greenway would no longer be supporting Primesuite and so we assumed (wrongly it turns out) that at the very least we'd get an upgraded version of Primesuite. We couldn't have been more wrong. I feel like I've stepped back 15 years and cannot think of 1 improvement from the old software. Customer Support has been abysmal. Greenway sent trainers to help us when we went live. Problem was they didn't really know how to use the system. Then on day 3 of going live there was an "update" that completely changed to look of the system and which the trainers had not received any training on. At that point they could no longer answer any of our questions and were learning along with us. The one bit of help in this whole mess was when our trainer admitted this EMR was crap but that they're all crap. Appreciated the honesty in a mess of lies.

Everything you need to manage your Medical Practice

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: We are able to generate revenue quickly by the claims submission electronically. We are compliant with electronic medical records.

Pros:

The ability to be able to use this software for all aspects of medical practice. electronic medical records, scheduling, claims scrubbing, claims submission. You don't need any other software with this to run your practice smoothly. You can learn this hands on. I was able to use this with very little training. It is hands on learn as you go.

Cons:

Sometimes you run into bugs and the program shuts down, however this could be a network issue and not software.

Not worth the money

1.0 4 years ago

Pros:

there's nothing about this system that's liked

Cons:

EVERYTHING! customer service, poor communication, don't feel valued, continuous system outages, oversold as "better than ehs" but it's NOT! ehs might have be an antiquated system, but it at least had esig capabilities

Great EHR

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: reenway has always provided us with a subject matter expert in the areas or modules that we need or may have overlooked. So at a moment I can pick up the phone or email a SME to get direct insight on how the system was designed to work vs how we were using it.

It's important to note after going live the support turnaround & follow through have been great. Chat, Calls, Email.

Pros:

User customization, Practice customization.

Cons:

ome key points I'd like to highlight are: The sales teams, I really hate to use that term because of the typical cliché of a sales guy. I've had the opportunity of spending time with these teams at the conferences and truly believe they want to do well by the community and not just sell a product and move on. That being said, every implementation that we've had, we were always provided a robust road map that outlined the entire process from assessment, discovery, plan and design, training, communications to entire organization, adjusting or recommend workflow changes, and continuing support. Throughout that process of not just developing the road map but following through, we were always in control and felt that Greenway's actions were directed towards our goals.

Why I like Intergy

4.0 6 years ago

Comments: I have been using Intergy / EHR /PA since 2008. It has made integrating clinical data with the practice management side a whole lot simpler. It also allows us easy access to attest for our government measures. Like with any software there are drawbacks but overall it is a great product.

Pros:

Intergy is easy to use and to teach new staff how to use. It is a powerful software if all the parts and pieces are used to the fullest. It can integrate with outside programs. We are able to customize a lot of our EHR forms for the way our providers care for our patients. There is online training for every piece of it and a great support staff just a call or chat away!

Cons:

The reporting system. You can't run reports from Intergy as excel reports and trying to run the same report in PA is not always an option.

Comments: I been working w/Intergy PM for 11 years. I dabble w/other systems because of the nature of our company. Intergy PM has a good layout and the tabs are grouped for efficient work flow.

Pros:

I'm over several different areas from precert to refunds, and the departmens in between. Claim control and ERAs made working the denied claims more efficient.

Cons:

The collection module for patient accounts. The information is displayed differently then the normal view. It takes time to adjust to the different areas of the box the information is located or even omitted.

Decent product

4.0 7 years ago

Pros:

Intergy is a good product but to have it be "robust" you also need to purchase the Practice Analytic (PA) software package with it in order to perform data analytics. PA is an excellent package that Greenway should incorporate into their other EMR systems.

Cons:

Intergy is not a very user friendly product as you have to perform multiple clicks in order to either get to where you want to go or need to do - Keep It Simple.

Intergy makes my day productive!

5.0 7 years ago

Pros:

Intergy is easy to use. Upgrades are constantly made. I feel as though support is easy to work with and they take suggestions for possible upgrades in the future.

Cons:

I do not think this product is Pediatric specific and there are a few things that we need to modify as a result, however, support has listened to our challenges and worked with us to find resolution.

A great product that has evolved along with technology.

4.0 7 years ago

Comments: My practice has been faithful to the ever evolving Greenway company. They strive to create a very satisfied customer.

Pros:

I currently use Intergy Practice Management and Practice Analytics in my job daily. My practice has utilized all 3 products for many years. It affords us a one stop shop to manage the practice, esp. the business end. Reports are very informative and functional for managing the every day business of medicine.

Cons:

Introduction of new product lines can be overwhelming at times. Which do you choose for your practice? What will enhance your bottom line?

What support?

2.0 13 years ago

Comments: I would not recommend this product currently because there is no support. It was a great product with great support when it was Sage, but now I wonder if they will survive very long into the future. I am currently looking at other software, and even though I have spent a large sum on Sage, I am thinking it may be better to move software before I miss the meaningful use cut off in October...and loose even more money.

Pros:

I think the software is probably as good as many of the other ones available...not anything special. What used to really set them apart was their support, see cons....

Cons:

Intergy support does not exisit. You will remain on the phone for an hour before being connected to anyone and then typically they do not have the answer and need to call you back, although you are lucky if they follow through. I have several open service requests. When Vitera bought Sage in October, they fired most of the long standing employees who knew how the system worked. I was in the middle of EMR implementation...now months later I am still trying to implement. They charge extra for everything and then do not deliver. I have been being charged for the practice portal since October, I do not have the practice portal. The accounting department is not enpowered to make any decisions regarding your account. I used to have a customer service rep that I could talk to about different issues but two weeks ago she disappeared and now there is no one...
