We had a few people bid on items and then we could not obtain payment afterwards as they had no card registered and wouldn't respond to our requests for it.

Fantastic User Friendly Program

Comments: Auctria is a terrific product, and I recommend it to all of my clients and colleagues. It is a great value for the money, easy to use, and has incredible functionality.

Pros:

Auctria is very intuitive, and so much easier to use than other nonprofit event softwares on the market. The database function is straight-forward and doesn't have too many layers to it, so data entry is really fast. The website, ticket sales component, donor/guest information, and night of event entry all sync together really well. It takes less than 5 minutes to train volunteers on guest registration, and the materials are quality. Any time that I have had an issue, which hasn't been often, Auctria will get back to me quickly with a solution.

Cons:

The only thing I would change would be to make the display sheets a little more dynamic, so they could be individually altered. Perhaps if there were an option to download them as a Word file, it would make it easier to adjust text sizing, photo sizing, etc. Also, it would be great if Auctria had a mobile bidding component.

Auctria Fan

Comments: After using many different auction software programs I prefer Auctria hands down. It's easy to train volunteers how to use the program and whenever we have encountered a problem, Auctria has amazing customer service and troubleshooting. I actually just recommended them to an organization last night after using the software they had purchased. We encountered multiple problems all night and all of us were saying, "This would never happen with Auctria."

Pros:

Auctria's functionality makes it a very efficient and user friendly software program. We run multiple auctions a month and by far Auctria is the easiest program we use.

Cons:

I wish that on the dashboard there was a button for check in bidders so you don't have to start at bidders and then select check in bidders.

Pros:

It's ease of use. The quality is great, and the tutorials make it easy and fun to create an Auction. The online help is fantastic. And you have spell check.

Cons:

For the New Hampshire Orchid society it covers all the bases. It is a comprehensive software product with limitless possibilities. This product works for small and large auctions alike with the same attention to detail.

Auctria for non-profit

Comments: This was our second auction with auctria. It went really smooth and set up was easy once we learned all the settings.

Pros:

Easy to set up, good value for what we needed, ran itself once auction started

Cons:

Doesn’t automatically charge the winning bidders so if they don’t follow through we had to contact them. This was a minor problem. Not enough template design choices

Works well or our small social club.

Comments: Outstanding. We started using Auctria pre-pandemic to manage a live annual fundraising auction for our fly fishing club. The last time we did that, we cleared a bit more than $10,000 with $4,000 in expenses. Throughout and after the pandemic w've used an online auction. This year we cleared a bit more than $9,000 with only $600 in costs, and half of that was for the Auctria subscription. Moreover, the work involved was only about a quarter as much as was required for our old live auctions.
Auctria has been fantastic for us.

Pros:

It's very efficient and quite powerful. Overall it's one of best pieces of software I've ever used. Customer service is outstanding.

Cons:

1. Interface for auction website construction is clunky and needs a makeover. 2. Having too much help information is almost as bad as having not enough. As a result, I tend to go directly to help by chat rather than looking through several help documents looking for the right information. I know it's in there somewhere.... 3. This really isn't a complaint about the software, only an observation: When you use a complex thing (like Auctria) only once a year, it's hard to get good at it.

A review from someone who was involved with initial roll-out years ago, but the last few years have been as an end user.

Comments: I am a trustee at Tin Mountain who will be terming out next month. As described in other comments, i was on the early committees to get Auctria rolling some years back, and then moved on to other committee work. My recent experience is as a bidder/ end user. I am in the IT world so I didn't have any specific issues. My overall experience is it is all a bit clunky, and I helped several older folks navigate through it. This could all be how we at TM have it set up - maybe we could do better.

Pros:

Ultimately it is effective and gets the job done.

Cons:

While the system is effective, the interface feels dated and could modernizing. Part of that may be how our folks have it set up.

Poolesville Seniors Recommends Auctria's Online Auction Software

Comments: Auctria has transformed our auction. We are able to reach five times as many participants, more bidders and every year we produce more income. And we find that the option to donate if they decide not to bid is extremely lucrative.

Pros:

User friendly both from the administrative and bidder point of view.

Cons:

Online Help articles not always helpful and difficult to find solutions.

Pivoted during COVID and have not looked back!

Comments: We have been using Auctria since we had to do a lightning-fast switch to a virtual auction at the beginning of the COVID lockdown in 2020. Since then, we have used Auctria for half a dozen events and have been pleased with how much it offers for the cost. Auctria has helped us raise over $500,000 in the past four years.

Pros:

For the price, Auctria is filled to the brim with functionality that would pay double or triple for. It has everything you would need to host a successful event and keep track of all of your financials and patrons at the same time.

Cons:

Any software has limitations. Integration with an email provider such as Constant Contact or MailChimp would be great. Auctria has its fair share of bugs and quirks, but if you do your research ahead of time before your event, you can find workarounds for many issues.

Comments: Our businesses overall experience with Auctria has been superb! From the software's capability to the customer support, it's all there in one package! Managing components of your organization such as all of your Donors and their past history, all of your possible attendees, communication mediums like email and text, a full fledged web site with a redesigned app experience, enterprise payment processing, and more. There hasn't been anything I couldn't do with this product that I've been able to to think of, or had suggested from our organization. It has saved me countless hours of input, and has made running our events extremely efficient!

Pros:

This completely changed how our business was managing parts of the organization, and our event! It's not overly complicated to get started, and there are a LOT of advanced features if you decide you really want to get into it! Not to mention Support is readily available and Very quick to respond to any questions or problems you may have (I once deleted all of my Donors by accident, the night before an event, and they got me restored within an hour!)

Cons:

As of 2022, there is honestly nothing missing from this software's capability that our business could think of

Auctria Delivers

Comments: We run several fundraising events a year and Auctria has made life easier all the way around.

Pros:

As a nonprofit, it's difficult to find software that fits our needs. Auctria delivers. I have used others in the past that were cumbersome, not user friendly, and limited. Auctria handles every aspect of our events in an easy, straightforward way.

Cons:

I, personally, have not experienced anything i would improve.

Overall Auctria was excellent

Comments: Overall, our experience after two auctions, was excellent. It is an intuitive product with robust capabilities. It is an excellent value for the investment.

Pros:

Auctria is very intuitive and easy to learn. The trainings provided were also very good, and brought people up to speed quickly.

Some of the reporting was incomplete, and did not give enough options.

Auctria Saved Our Auction

Comments: Our annual auction has always involved 100s upon 100s of volunteer hours. It was becoming increasingly difficult to get volunteers to put in the time. Auctria solved that problem for us, reducing our volunteer time by at least 85%. We were also affected by people's hesitancy to do anything "in person" following the pandemic. Being able to have the auction totally online with a wonderful website solved that problem. We sold out almost every event we offered. That has never happened before. My overall experience with Auctria was fantastic. The staff are very personable and know their product. They went out of their way to accommodate our schedules for meetings and we always received prompt answers to our questions. They were available to help with setting everything up and had great suggestions for marketing our auction items. At the beginning, we watched a lot of the online videos about how to set up an auction and how to use Auctria. That content was very helpful.To any person or organization looking for software to run an auction or fundraiser, I say, "Look no further. Auctria is the BEST."

Pros:

We used Auctria to conduct our auction completely on line. In a few short weeks, we progressed from creating a paper and pdf catalog, setting up tables with silent auction sheets, and calculating everything by hand (winners, invoices, etc.) to doing everything on line. Our annual auction is a 40 year tradition that was put on hold during the pandemic. We were all worried about how to bring it back, and whether or not moving to an online platform would negatively impact participation and profits. It did not. Our experience was wonderful.We purchased the Emerald Plan and it was worth every penny. The staff support was fantastic and they have continued to be available to us since the auction closed. With their guidance, we have been able to offer all unsold items via the website in an "After Event Sale."To my knowledge, Auctria has been 100% accurate in billing, processing payments, tracking bids, and in absolutely every other facet of our auction.Also, the website created for our event was beautiful and I'm sure it contributed greatly to our success.

Cons:

I think Auctria could improve the ease at which one can find topics in their Help menu. Finding the answers to specific questions wasn't always easy, and the search tool was not specific enough. That said, I found that using CHAT feature or emailing the concierge typically got a same day and often immediate answer to my questions.Our bidders were confused by the notifications when they were outbid. It was challenging to understand how to get back in the running if you were trying to buy two separate seats at a dinner and you were outbid for one of them. (You had to outbid yourself, and then bid again for the second seat.) There isn't a tab in the menu for "show me items that have sold." This would be helpful.

Events made easy

Comments: The support has been amazing. It has been an easy process so far.

Pros:

Auctria has one of the best reporting functions. It is easy to find the information that you need.

Cons:

Ticket purchasers had some problems updating their guests information from the ticket statement email but the support team was always there to help and answer questions.

Great, comprehensive silent auction platform which costs much less than other competitor platforms

Comments: We used Auctria for a school silent auction of 160 items with approximately 60 bidders netting over $20k profits.

Pros:

Platform is intuitive, easy to use for listing auction items with photos / videos, creating displays, ticketing event / managing attendees, real-time app bidding, text messaging and emails to bidders, invoicing and payment processing. Auctria reference and help desk very responsive within one hour typically. Bidder participants were able to easily understand and feel comfortable entering bids into the app the same night of the auction.

Cons:

Opt-out options for credit card storage.

Perfect for any size Auction

Pros:

Auctria is very easy to use and even has great videos and help center articles on the features we need help with. The best part of Auctria is that it simplifies our check-in and check-out process on the night of our event. This used to be our biggest pain point every year and now I get to enjoy the event more because the software does all the hard work.

Cons:

We would love a voting feature to be added as this is another component we would like to remove the manual work from.

Comments: It was fantastic. I am not a computer savvy individual, but was able to use the system with ease.

Pros:

We used the Auctria Launch services with our event only 10 days after we found Auctria. It was so very helpful. We were paired with an Auctria employee who walked us through the system and made sure we were all set. She also answered our many many questions and eased our concerns.

Cons:

We really did not have any issues that I could think of. One thing that may have been a little confusing for us was the donor tab and how to make changes, but we did figure it out on our own!

Comments: It is wonderful. I really love whenever we use Auctria (which is often) because it is so easy to use and works so well on so many different levels. It gives our team confidence to do more when we have an event and we are successful because of this great tool.

Pros:

The user interface is so wonderful. It creates an experience that allows us as event creators to make an event that is beautiful online for guests to use. It also is easy for us to create the items, websites, and anything else Auctria offers for an event to be seamless. It works well to export data that we can then input into our other customer relations management software.

Cons:

If there is anything I would like to change it would be to have more variation in options with the website offerings. The current ones work well but if we could have more options for differences it would feel less like the same one each time.

Easy to use

Comments: We were able to stop paying an auction company to register bidders, track winners and invoice our patrons. Auctria is always adding features to the software, making it very powerful.

Pros:

The software overall is easy to use. You can teach a volunteer how to run it in just a few minutes. We really like the texting function of the software

Cons:

There are not that many reports that are useful to me.
