I love YT!

Pros:

I love the ability for anyone to have a voice, possible quit their job and live their dream.

Cons:

The thresholds for monetization are ridiculous. The app is clunky as well. YouTube Studio takes forever to update watch time hours.

Easy to use as a creator or user

Comments: I use Youtube as a creator as well as a user and fine it easy to use on both ends.

Pros:

Variety of topics covered and information to learn/watch

Cons:

auto play - I can lose time to non relevant information

Good platform but limited function

Comments: I used Youtube for many years for both hosting videos and watch videos.
It's hard to make a living as content creator, it's more than a full time job and one person team.
I wish YouTube has a function that we can replace the video with new edit without changing the link.
YouTube video quality is poor, even 4K, the compression need to be improved.
For the age restriction, the platform needs to explain a bit better, can't be "Is it the video make for minors." A lot of content is PG, but it doesn't mean that's for minors.
Way too much commercials but not enough sharing fee with artists.

Pros:

1. Youtube has a lot of audience and it's easy to access. 2. It's free to host videos. You can show your video editing via YouTube to director and producer. You can share videos with the community. 3. A lot of content.

Cons:

1. You can not replace the video with the same link when you update the edit, Vimeo has that function. 2. The compression of the video is not good, the quality is poor. 3. Too much commercials, very annoying. 4. It's hard to make a living as content created, it's more than a full time job. 5. A lot of content, but also a lot of garbage, you need to be careful with the content suggestion.

Youtube is a great platform for us

Comments: Youtube is great. I have been using it for many years and it is easy to use. One most focus on video quality and editing but once its up its great.

Pros:

I love the ease of use when uploading videos and looking at the analytics.

Cons:

Sometime the places where ads are played is not within ones control. Understanding how to work ads can be a little daunting.

Comments: Youtube has many many good things to write. I learned a lot from Youtube. And I am glad that I can explore the worldwide YouTube sitting in the comfort of my home.

Pros:

I can't pass a day without getting into YouTube. It's a part of life. I learned a lot through YouTube.

Cons:

YouTube has very few cons like multiple ads on a video, limiting the advertisements that can be done per video, uploading the video, and conversion to HD takes much time and can be focused.

Pros:

Today while commuting to work suddenly a specific YouTube recommended song came out of nowhere - a song which I have listened to hundreds of times while I was young and forgot about it. This song hit me emotionally so hard that I had to stop driving to enjoy the profound moment. I cannot but praise the amazing recommendation algorithm this site provides - makes me feel glad to be born in this era to experience such advantages. YouTube always has been my virtual teacher. I remember during my college days I used to go through YouTube tutorials to understand the topics I am going to write about. Frankly, it would have been tremendously difficult to pass for me if I hadn't taken the assistance of this amazing platform. To this day, at work or amongst friends, when I find difficulties I always take support from here, and to be truthful, I never have been disappointed. YouTube has allured me to visit the world, to learn, and to appreciate what nature has offered us. Impressed by YouTube travel content, I took the daunting task of solo travel to Kerala - India, and I never have had to look back. YouTube is like my personal guide where hundreds of amazing people acknowledge me about everything and every aspect. I have never uploaded video's on YouTube, but my closest friend is a professional YouTuber and often mentions the ease of using YouTube and the benefits of making important content. In the future, I also may make some useful videos and supply them to the world via YT.

Cons:

Recently, I feel the excessiveness of unnecessary Ad's on Youtube, really kills off the vibe. Also, just audio features would be nice. Many of us like to listen to music by it using mobile phones but it is hard as we have to keep the command window open and it often interrupts the ongoing media - very irritating.

Comments: online courses , public information , streaming , uploading videos , tv shows , both serious and fun part , and much more of fields, whatever your point of interest or you hobbies is , you will find your needs in youtube.What I really like about youtube , and didn't find it on the other software , is that Youtube respects the user's mind , respect their privacy , respect their favourites, and doesn't intrude on your choices , as long as you watch a certain type of videos , Youtube won't show a different type of videos , 90% of the videos suggested to the user matches the interest of the user , the other 10% is not really far from the point of interest , its similar but from other channels , I mean you won't watch a video from the north and youtube suggest a video from the west : it won't happen, even if you didn't like a video from the suggested videos , you only need to either to : ask youtube to not reccomend the channel or not intersted and you won't see the video or the channel again.

Pros:

High quality videos , suitable for every internet speeds , uploading videos is easy , captioning is simple , editing the uploaded videos is simple too , streaming smoothness worth to mention. its so easy to use , search system is great too and able to recognise the typos so far and guides to the desired result , autoplay , playlists , downaloaded videos , and the other features are great and can't get any better , youtube can be integrated with any business smoothly and you won't face any issues.

Cons:

I can't remember anything that could be improved in youtube , me as a youtube user for over 10 years I can say that its the best app/software I have used ever , its Irreplaceable.

How to make Youtube the only perfect social media.

Comments: YouTube is my favorite application because I find everything I need on there whether it is to entertain myself with music videos, to educate myself via shows, audiobooks, and podcasts but also to purify myself with spiritual audio and videos, etc.

Pros:

YouTube is the most advanced digital platform in terms of online viewing, it is the fastest because it allows you to match the internet speed of the device you are using. It is very inclusive because it allows you to share quickly to the majority of other networks and it allows people who do not necessarily use YouTube to stay in touch with what is being done on the platform. YouTube is also very safe because it blocks content that is deemed violent or disturbing for young people, so YouTube allows for a very good filtering which results in it becoming an online school for young students, students, or those curious about knowledge.

Cons:

I like just about every aspect of YouTube two. First, it takes a little too long to respond to user comments and suggestions, which is why I signed up for Capterra so I could get the attention of the social media technicians.Secondly, I like to surf on my smartphone while listening to or watching a song, a video, or an interesting show, so I would like it to be easier for users to stay on the application while opening and using the others.

After years and years of using YouTube , I can honestly say that this is the best video and streaming software ever , Where you could post , share and view videos and shorts .The most thing i liked with my experience was the shorts feature where you could create or even share short videos , this helps the video editors and content creator with their videos.

Cons:

I think that my mail personal concern would be shortly the Ads policy , you have to get a paid YouTube premium YouTube subscription to hide the ads which causes some kind of inconvenience sometimes

My Review of YouTube

Comments: My overall experience with YouTube is very good and I enjoy using it.

Pros:

I love that YouTube allows me to upload 4k videos without reducing the quality of the video or down-size it. YouTube provides very powerful analytics and reports that enable me to understand how my content reaches people and how to enhance it. Also, I like the ability to publish my video as a premiere.

Cons:

When uploading a new video, it takes some time to get processed which wasted my time. The algorithm of YouTube doesn't support me sometimes as it doesn't help me spread my videos. Also, YouTube is not good for educational content as it doesn't provide the environment to create quizzes and exams.

Can't live without it!

Comments: I use this daily for news, weather, education and entertainment. I love it! I consider YouTube my go to source for the real news reported by trustworthy organizations and people. It is so easy to navigate that I can quickly start watching what I want.

Pros:

I like the availability of the real news that I want to see. I also have found educational content that I can't live without. I like that I can follow the creators or reporters of my own choosing. It is easy to navigate and has helpful lists you can create to refer back to things you have seen. I also like YouTube for entertainment - a good movie or a good audio book is offered.

Cons:

I often receive video suggestions in my feed that I have no interest in. There are options to not recommend this channel & I am not interested in the content but even after choosing those options I often receive more videos from the same channels & similar content. I also think the videos start playing too fast when going through my feed. Then that video goes into my watched history and causes more videos from that channel or similar content to show up in my feed.

My review on why YouTube is my favourite social media platform.

Comments: The reason why YouTube is currently my favourite social media platform is because you can make great videos like DVD/Blu-ray openings, lift videos, gaming videos, etc. I don't care what anyone else says, I love the modern YouTube design. It looks like it was refreshed. I have been using the platform since 2015 because this website has always been my dream ever since it was founded in 2005. I would recommend a lot of people use this site to make the best videos. Also you can get lots of views on certain videos sometimes.

Pros:

There's lots of pros, like you can make awesome videos like DVD/Blu-ray openings, lift videos, gaming videos, etc. You can also like, share and comment on people's videos and community posts as well.

Cons:

I don't have that much problems with YouTube, because it's a great site to upload videos on. The only problem is that sometimes when the Wi-Fi is weak, it can take longer for videos to upload or to play.

Sharing options are excellent, you can share via social media with a simple link.

Cons:

Really there is nothing to not like about YouTube, though the only thing I would say it that since it is a Google product you can never be 100% sure what its future would be. I don't mean they would dump it and end of life it like other products, but you can't be sure what direction they might take it at any time. That's why I wouldn't want to be too beholden on it as a platform - for example if you were a full time content creator you would want to have a backup option or a number of different platforms to get your work out there.

What I like most about Youtube as a viewer is the variety of content. I can immerse myself in tutorials that would develop my knowledge on certain topics and bring positivity into my life by listening to motivational and entertaining videos. As a creator, I like how easy it is to upload videos and tranform it into an interesting post. I don´t have to ask for help from other people to guide me on the things I have to do with the content since everything is provided for in the Studio.

Cons:

What I don´t like about Youtube are the ads!!! I´m in the middle of an exercise routine and have to wait ´till the ad finishes or get up from the mat and click on skip the ads. It´s very annoying!
