Exceptional Reservation Software

Comments: Overall, our customer satisfaction with our booking process has significantly increased since we started using Origin, as well as a large increase in the number of customers that we have had overall. If we did not use Origin as our Booking Platform, then many hours would be needlessly wasted on booking customers, sending emails, and scheduling staff.

Pros:

The online booking process with Origin is streamlined from the beginning of the reservation all the way through the end. Including on the back-end with staff management and payment processing. I love how easy it is to make changes and customize our offerings as well as collect customer information for their reservation.

Cons:

Bringing our company onto Origin was a bit cumbersome at first, but the hard work that was applied on the front-end paid dividends on the back-end when the reservations were fully automated and correct information was disseminated to the customer. It can be a bit tiresome to use if you have a large number of offerings, but again, it is well worth it to spend extra time and set it up well at first so that all reservations in the future can be seamless for the customer.

Moving in a new direction

Pros:

As a small business owner, customer service is very important with any booking platform. We are in the process of fully switching to Origin and [sensitive content hidden] and his team have been very responsive as we integrate with our current website and backend operations.

Cons:

We are very new with Origin and have yet to find something we like least. Our initial impressions are that the Origin Team works incredibly hard to ensure every one of their customers has the functionality that they need.

Great for growing business that rely on bookings!

Comments: It’s perfect for this company size. Keeps us organized and communicative. Some features need improvement but we constantly see things being improved, and the team is extremely receptive to feedback which we love.

Pros:

The most basic functions (booking, checkout questions, reminder emails) great, and it serves us well for the most part! It’s extremely helpful in keeping our company organized. Customer service is very responsive!

Cons:

Higher learning curve. Mobile app is difficult to use sometimes (hard to click around, can’t view certain things then go to previous page, etc), and there are some things that are really difficult to modify quickly like email templates, and other things difficult to understand (inventory).

It is great!

Comments: Overall it is great for a tour guide like me to use.

Pros:

I like that it tracks the time of each tour and stops you from overbooking a time slot. The scheduling itself is a life saver.

Cons:

The only thing that was annoying is that the pages need to reload everytime you make a little adjustment.

Saving Grace

Comments: This is the best customer service experience I've ever had, and so I felt compelled to write a review. I am a guide working to build a solid client roster. I believe in providing a gold standard of customer service through risk management, client communication, and leadership. When my origin profile was down, I sent a message through their website messaging system. I also found a phone number for the company. Shortly after sending the message, I figured it would be easier to call them. I was expecting the run around through automated prompts and messages. To my absolute surprise I was greeted by [SENSITIVE CONTENT], who was able to fast track my issue directly to the head of digital engineering. My issue was resolved in 10 minutes. All the anxiety I had felt of not being able to communicate with my clients within my window; completely went away. My issues have been resolved with lightening fast precision and dedication. When it comes to business solutions these guys are the gold standard.

Pros:

It's ease of use, and organization when planning out my trips, and it gives me a detailed understanding of what's taking place within my own calendar. I am able to stay organized and provide a better customer experience as a result

Cons:

There are a few bugs that need to be worked on through page directing and redirecting.

Origin has streamlined booking and communication with customers.

Comments: The listings allow us to communicate information regarding meeting time/place, gear lists, costs and other things in one place thus minimizing pre-trip emails and calls with customers.

Pros:

The process required some work in the beginning to create listings for our services. Once that was done, it has streamlined the booking process and pre-trip communications with customers.

Cons:

We needed to create many listings to cover all the choices we offer. We have learned to stremline and simplify that as well.

Great booking software

Comments: In general it is a great software, it is one of the best to start up again, its accessibility and user response are excellent, there are still things to improvise of course but in general it allows you to start expanding your business in a safe way and you see the results of that continuous growth day by day.

Pros:

Its interface is really easy to use and versatile, it adapts to the needs of your company. It has a great customer service. And its ease of payment is incredible.

Cons:

There is still room for improvement, not only in its web interface, but it would be better if it could also manage a mobile application and not necessarily have to rely on everything on the computer.

Best 3rd party booking software for outdoor guide services and tour operators

Comments: Excellent, the software saves me a ton of time and hassle in getting clients booked, collecting all the needed info from them including waivers, and assigning guides to the adventure based on their availability. It's pretty easy to use once you get it set up.

Pros:

Automates the booking process for clients. They can see live availability for the adventure of their choice and sign up online. It also manages guide/instructor availability and automatically assigns guides to bookings. Saves a ton of time overall.

Cons:

It takes some effort to get it all set up. It's highly customizable, so the initial time investment to build everything is high. Customer support is excellent and quick, so it's not difficult to set up, just takes some effort.

We don't take advantage of some the features that are available. Could use another onboarding type experience with where they are today with features sets, maybe?

Alpine to the Max uses Origin
