Advanced Front end Traffic Load Balancer.
Comments: My team builds e-learning projects has embedded learning analytics applications to put them on learning management systems available for users to log in and access via public URL. Azure Application Gateway service enhances the performance of our applications on the front-end with advanced traffic routing and resource balancing capabilities. It helps my team filter incoming traffic, secure our customers' data and transactions from web scraping on the front-end, and protect our web applications with integrated firewalls. The service helps us allocate sufficient resources on the back end to fit the managed traffic on the front end.
Pros:
Azure Application Gateway is an efficient web traffic load balancer with advanced routing capabilities and integrated protection firewalls. The service routes the traffic on the application front-end based on IP address, Ports, URL attributes, and hostname attributes. It has seamless integration with various Azure cloud services. Azure Application Gateway service documentation is easy to follow as users can manage the service via Azure API.
Cons:
It would be great if the service price were lower.
