Google maps- daily experience shared

Comments: I use it daily to move from one location to another, I use it to visualise locations. For my projects as well I used it’s API. Also I can see the real time traffic in my area, locations near to me for visiting

Pros:

I like the real time detection of traffic and analysis of time required to move from point A to point B. I like the way they have images for visually determining how the locations actually look like without even visiting the place

Cons:

The costing they have for accessing there apis

Google Maps

Comments: Google Maps has made me feel comfortable leaving the house. I can get both street view and map views so I can have an accurate visual of where I am going, and locate hotels and restaurants nearby. Absolutely essential for traveling while on business.

Pros:

I love the integration of Google Maps with other Google features, such as locating the nearest gas station and routing me there with the push of a button.

Cons:

I am not a fan of the standard computer voice that comes with Google Maps, and how you cannot change how often the voice tells you directions, for example, in the middle of a phone call the directions will chime in over my phone call.

Works better than apple maps

Pros:

I like that it is easy to search for locations and you can use the sat map to see what it actually looks like

Cons:

App crashes while you are driving and you have no way of knowing until you realize you havent received a direction in a while... but that time you've missed your turns/

Positive review for Google Maps

Comments: My overall experience with Google maps is really positive

Pros:

I like the most that most of the time it is really accurate and it is saving time when I travel and I need to make a stop along the way for example ( food, gas station, shop...)

Cons:

The least I like about Google Maps is that sometimes it takes me to the wrong place or makes me go through a one way/closed street

Comments: Overall I use it more for short trips and when I'm walking to a venue but experience was great

Day to day essential app

Comments: Google Maps is very useful for getting around. It gives clear directions, real-time traffic updates, and helps find places like restaurants or shops nearby. Sometimes, it can be wrong in less popular areas, but overall, it’s easy to use and helpful for travel and planning.

Pros:

It makes it easy to find places around to visit and facilities a lot my daily commuting, also, the review system helps spot good places from bad ones

Cons:

The public transport navigation is not customisable enough to always find the best routes that suits my needs. The filter in the saved places list does not have a key feature to filter by places that opens/closes at current time

Google Maps don't waste your time

Comments: My overall experience with Google Maps is really cool. Quit the daily traffic and alternative rutes are the most features I like.

Pros:

Never lost with Google Maps. Use it always, you can quit the daily trafic and save time.

Cons:

Orientation problems when you are under a tunnel or when you start the app for the first time

Comments: I've had a great experience with Google Maps. It helped me drive around Dallas when I would have otherwise gotten lost.

Excellent Maps!

Comments: Overall Google maps was super easy to use and it was accurate to provide me directions on my route. I found it very functional in many parts of the world and even in remote areas.

Pros:

Google maps is very easy to use and is the most up to date map when it comes to locations . I found the directions to be very detailed and accurate and have used it on many mobile devices.

Cons:

I found that there is some limited functionality to when you are in offline mode but the location services still gives you the correct route to your destination even if you do by chance go offline.

More accurate than Apple Maps

Comments: Accurate and easy to view the direction in several different ways.

Pros:

Google Maps always has more accurate directions than Apple Maps.

Cons:

You cannot turn up the navigation volume unless it is as they are announcing the directions. That is significantly frustrating.

Comments: Google maps is mostly used app in my daily life with some small issues during navigation which can be manageable

Marking locations as favorite and naming them based on our preference Saving history of location which are visited. Reviews of restaurant or shops or other business entities Color coding of roads, water and trees etc

Cons:

No option to save the complete route of travel from 2 different location Some times routes related to u turns might not be updated realtime Whene there is a flyover, its always confusing in maps which will not show exactly whether to go over flyover or not

Great Navigation Software

Comments: Greate Navigation App and I'm using Google Maps wherever I go. Google Maps is my everyday navigation app.

Pros:

Pros: I like Google Maps for great navigation app, as most people use Google Maps in my area. Google Maps has become essential for all drivers and people who try to find what and where they want to go. One more pro is that I can choose which road I should take and see any real-time traffic ahead before going.

Cons:

Cons: There are so few that I can say, but the main cons for me is that some time the instructions for the navigations take me to the long road rather than send me the route of less traffic and less time of travel.

To Reach with ease

Comments: It's very good experience I had with Google maps as a doctor i have to travel different areas and hospitals for internship it makes my life better

Pros:

It makes life so less complicated with the best of route maps with busy routes and in less time possible

The accuracy sometimes the maps shows the wrong route after taking a turn without warning before

Google Maps is Extremely Useful

Comments: I use Google Maps on a daily, and sometimes weekly, basis to locate downs, zips, and other pertinent information to assist in not only directions, but mailing list determinations (based on city).

Pros:

It's ability to provide not only overall views and directions, but the street view option is wonderful, especially when our drivers are having difficulty finding a house. The street views provides a clear picture of where they are headed and what to look for.

Cons:

I haven't found any cons to Google Maps.

Best companion with you - to guide you on travel

Comments: I am using google maps atleat once a day.Its accuracy in high in urban area, but it is low in some rural area. They usually collects all the data from other users in that area. If the numbers persons with GPS in that particular area is less, its accuracy is also less. This is the only area they might be improved. But it is not an issue. In future, definetly everyone has a mobile phone with GPS with us. At that time it leads the world with powerful guidence.

Pros:

It is so effective and most of the time highly accurate. So that I do not bother about the way on travel.

Cons:

Some time its accuracy is questionable. It may happens, because of low network strength and less number of people in that area.

Pros:

Nothing noteworthy comes to mind. Just Frustration when I need it to function in emergencies.

Cons:

Wrong Routes. Bad Routes. Not enough warnings about turn-offs etc...

The Best Maps!

Comments: As a person with motorcycle. This s very helpful and convenient to me.

Pros:

I used it for 4 years now. Very helpful to me specially when I don't know the route to the place where I need to go.

Cons:

Some streets and dead end roads still not captured by them.

Traveling with Google Maps

Comments: Google maps not only shows you the best routes and directions, but this app updates you if there is new construction or traffic restraints.

Pros:

Very user friendly, convenient, and up to date.

Cons:

Overall there is nothing that trigger me to consider as a con for google maps. This app is a 5 star in all attributes in my opinion.

The go to tool for route planning or setting up location tracking

Comments: An invaluable tool, would be lost without it for route planning, expense tracking, and so much more!!!

Pros:

Super simple interface, great for planning multi stop routes (desktop) or looking for re-routes (mobile) Also great for building location of services... we have a healthcheck finder tool that lists client clubs and body composition device type and publishes this to the web

Cons:

Sometime get frustrated on mobile version with less functionality, but it's still good

How much important Google Maps in nowadays

Comments: It's awesome to use Google Maps. It's easy way to finding the unknown place in the world wherever it will be Google shows me the right spot to find all the places.

Timing is mentioned is not may be accurated

Simply the best

Pros:

It's easy to say good things about google maps, everyone has been using it since they are born and probably still do use it. The simple design and they way it's so easy to use it, makes it the best option when i need to find something that i don't know where it is or when i need to drive there. I usually use it anytime i need to go somewhere new, i like the feature of street view which allows me to see how's the parking spaces and if i will have any trouble driving there. The constant updates of the map is a very important thing too, streets and roads change everyday nowadays and having google maps keeping that updated makes it easier to know what's happening. I think the best usage for google maps is in the car, as GPS, very important for me and i use it very often. It's also very important in a profissional context, many time it's needed so we can check where we need to go or to find close business to us.

Cons:

I think the only con i can say is the voice assistant, sometimes it lags and gets delay the whole time after it.

An essential tool which can be improved

Comments: Very useful in helping me find my way around. I rely a lot on the reviews and ratings of businesses. There are definitely improvements needed to make this app more user friendly.

Pros:

It's generally accurate and I love being able to see ratings and reviews of establishments. A great tool especially when on holiday!

Cons:

It doesn't always give me the most efficient route. It's also difficult to map a route between two destinations- I often have to type in an address instead of just tapping on a destination. Google Maps needs to improve their communication with businesses - I have often arrived at restaurants that either no longer exist or are closed even though Maps says they are open. It is also sometimes hard to tell from the map/route when the entrance side of an establishment is.
