About Microsoft To Do
Task management app that allows users to share to-do lists among themselves, set reminders, and add notes.
Better customer service. Collaboration platform as well.
There was a lack of integration with other apps and the app was not that aesthetically pleasing.

Succeeds by simplicity--and Microsoft integrations
Comments: I use To Do to manage my own to-dos, including those assigned to me in any of the various Planner Plans I am part of.
Pros:
Within the To Do pane, I can manage my own lists as well as Planner tasks that have been assigned to me. It's a more flexible interface than Planner, and provides a lighter, more mobile-friendly task experience. Further, To Do's My Day planning approach is simple but brilliant: start every day with a blank slate.
Cons:
To Do doesn't do much natural language processing. The web app has been slow and difficult to use for years. To Do doesn't bring many high-bore features, such as Gantt charting, but it doesn't need to.
Best to do list app to get your job done and enhances productivity
Comments:
Really helped and supported to do my work on time.
Helped me to remind me the work
Prioritizing tasks helped me to do important tasks on time instead of wasting time in unwanted or low priority tasks.
Pros:
Easy to use Increases productivity Task scheduling Multiple to do list option Due date and deadline option Easy synchronization, so able to access the to do lists in multiple devices
Cons:
Sometimes integration with outlook does not working properly Difficult to manage old to do lists

It is not bad enough to look for alternative and not good enough to enjoy.
Comments: Overall, it a fairly basic tool which is quite bearable for managing personal tasks. However, due to the collaboration and visualization components being very weak (which, I guess, are extraordinarily important), working in Microsoft To Do prompts me to use sticky notes as much as I can.
Pros:
After the latest update, it became much more easier to create tasks directly from the meeting. A prioritization works fairly fine especially if one can use various color tags and teams.
Cons:
The visualization and collaboration components are just horrible. It is more or less fine for managing the personal tasks, but if you are a manager or just want to see an overview of some specific tasks and the timeline, then you will experience a lot of headaches and frustration.
If you are not using To Do you are missing out
Comments: To me the most important feature is the due date. If you use that, it will automatically add to the My Day section, and you can see when it is overdue in the Tasks section. That makes it very easy not to lose track of priorities.
Pros:
This is one of Microsoft's most underappreciated apps. I use it to drive my priorities every day and week. It has great features for recurring tasks, due dates, reminders, integrations, sharing with teammates, steps, notes, separate buckets - it is great!
Cons:
Since there are so many ways it can be used, it has taken me a while to figure out how to most efficiently use it for my purpose. Users need to invest the time to get used to it and try different methods until they find what works best for them.
Daily User
Pros:
I like how it's easy to set up tasks and it shows up on your calendar and outlook page for reminder. This is my best task manager so far.
Cons:
I don't know if there's anything I dislike about this!
Alternatives Considered:
Does the job but not easy to use
Comments: It would be great if all these amazing outlook features could be somehow built in the wider app with Better functionality and more user friendly.
Pros:
It is an integrated part of outlook and MS office
Cons:
It is not easy to use and I find it a bit confusing.
It's very helpful for keeping on top of tasks
Comments: We use it to asign jobs and tasks to members of the team.
Pros:
It's an effective way to have tasks set up within the team
Cons:
Things can get confusing as the UI isn't the tidiest
Amazing product
Pros:
Have everything organised and ready for us
Cons:
Sometimes it makes confused which is very annoying
Overall Good Experience
Comments: Pretty decent, but I eventually migrated off it because it became harder then easier to use
Pros:
I used it a lot to keep track of my backlog. I don't use it for daily purposes, but its more long-term task-based categories are easy and useful to set up.
Cons:
There is not a lot of cross-platform integration for Microsoft and it just became a big backlog of tasks.
Useful app when you need to breakdown tasks
Comments: Use this when workloads get a but heavy and compartmentalising tasks is of benefit
Pros:
Easy to load app in the other apps section
Cons:
Does not have the most user friendly user interface

Microsoft To Do Makes Task Management Easy
Pros:
Its simplicity means that it is great at the thing it does, which is being a to do list. There isn't too much noise, or loads of functionality that isn't needed. It's simple to use, and does it well.
Cons:
Perhaps the UI could look a bit more modern.
Simple, yet powerfull
Comments:
Been using several years, In my opinion, nothings compares to it.
Very easy and simple to use, yet it has all the features.
Pros:
Simplicity Easy to use Lightweight Multi platform Collaboration
Cons:
Actually, nothing none. Although some users may find it a hassle to register with Microsoft.

A better way to schedule your day
Comments: My overall experience has been overwhelmingly positive. This application works well.
Pros:
Microsoft To Do has a simple, clean interface which visually represents my tasks in a way that is easy to comprehend. To Do allows me to get an accurate view of my tasks without overwhelming me.
Cons:
I don't think Microsoft To Do has enough features. I feel like there must be additional programs that could be integrated to make the service even more useful.
Microsoft to do feedback
Comments: Overall, I've had a good experience with Microsoft To Do. I can stay busy and organized with the help of this easy-to-use task management application. Managing both personal and professional commitments has been made easier by the ability to make several lists, set reminders, and prioritize activities. Its consistent updates and enhancements have made it a dependable option for effectively planning everyday chores, despite some early integration difficulties.
Pros:
The best thing about Microsoft To Do is how well-balanced its robust task management tools are with its ease of use. Although it is simple to use, its robustness allows it to cover a wide range of organizational demands, from basic to-do lists to more intricate project management chores.
Cons:
The thing I disliked the most about Microsoft To Do at first was how poorly it integrated with other Microsoft services and platforms, which occasionally made it difficult to work seamlessly between different apps. But with updates and improvements over time, this has become better.
What “To Do” with Microsoft
Comments: Microsoft To Do is yet another software option that came with our Office 365 plan. I’m sure I’m not the only person who has glanced at the additional software offerings from Microsoft but did not try to incorporate it. Thankfully, we did not go this route with To Do. We weren’t looking for software “to do” what To Do does, but once we realized the functionality it provided, we use it daily. It has been another example of Microsoft providing us with solutions to problems we did not know we had.
Pros:
The best part of Microsoft To Do for our organization is the ease with which it integrates into our other Office applications. It fits in perfectly with the software we are already using on a daily basis.
Cons:
There is nothing game-changing about Microsoft To Do. It’s not software that we cannot live without, nor are we convinced that there are not other options with more functions. However, we did not implement it with those hopes in mind. For what we need it to do—help us keep employees and groups on task and making progress towards short and long term goals—it is great.
Microsoft To Do Review
Comments: Generally I am very happy with To Do. Especially with new possiblities like easily sharing small task lists or creating repetitive tasks. If Microsoft improves the overall integration that would be perfect.
Pros:
Efficient daily organizatioin using different categories and still having the overview over your work day using the due dates and "My day".
Cons:
Integration with Microsoft Planner can still be enhanced. In my team we use planner for tasks everyone should be aware of that the others are working on, but still of course there are tasks that everyone wants to keep for himself. In To Do there is a category called "Assigned to me" but there is no option to put them in separate categories or to reorder them.
To list with Micro soft
Comments: overall it is a solid choice for individuals and teams already embedded in the microsoft ecosystems.
Pros:
seamless integration with outlook, team and other office 365 apps you can use this app on all devices including windows, IOS and Android user friendly, its easy to use, clean design, due dates, reminders, encourages focus as you can pick task to complete each day
Cons:
lacks advanced tools like robust tools like Asana or trello it depends on my microsoft account no real collaboration on tasks not easily accessible without internet, no offline mode.
My Every Day Essential
Comments: Amazing, I use it every day, and almost always have the To-Do tab open 24/7 on my computer. In my job, I typically get a slew of tasks given to me in quick succession on calls, and having the to-do list up it the best way for me to log in each one quickly, add details during a call/meeting, and then get moving on completing each task within my longer timeframe.
Pros:
This is the perfect solution for the digital age - a modern to-do list that easily links to my email inbox, and helps me actually accomplish every task I need to.
Cons:
No complaints, it's user-friendly, links to my email so I can "flag" important emails to follow up on, I can add detailed notes to my to-do lists so that I remember things pertaining to the tasks, and set due dates that keep me on task.
Daily user for general tasks
Comments: Overall, I use this app daily to help keep me on track of my tasks.
Pros:
I like the ability to assign due dates on my phone and they show up on the today feature. I also like the ability to assign tasks to my day.
Cons:
For the phone app, I wish it were easier to sort through tasks and provide more detail. I also wish it were easier to assign due dates farther in advance than scrolling through the months.
Seamless task management and scheduling application
Comments: The sync works just perfectly I can create a task on my laptop version of To do and in less than a second it syncs to my mobile .
Pros:
A list can be created and any no of tasks can be added to it and It syncs easily to all the connected devices seamlessly.I like the feature that Tasks can be set with a deadline and notifications are sent out as the deadline is approached.
Cons:
Good product with just the right features nothing to dislike!
Simple and Intuitive To-Do Tracking - Microsoft To Do
Comments: Generally, very intuitive. Available on all my devices - I use it daily!!
Pros:
Easy to keep my to-do list up to date, accurate, and categorized by topic or person.
Cons:
Having custom fields would be nice -- frankly, they may be there, but my needs are basic and this works.
